Balance Improvements:

Version 3.5
This update focuses on creating a new and unique starting situation if you play as one of the Southern Realm factions (Border Princes, Estalia, Tilea) and is tightly connected to Cataph's TEB Overhaul.

New Functions / Additions:
⚫ Borgio the Besieger, Gashnag the Dark Prince and Lucrezzia Belladonna are now available as Legendary Lords of the Southern Realms and start with unique starting units that are exclusive to and thus require Cataph's TEB Overhaul.
⚫ 5 New Factions were added to the Southern Realms and will spawn depending on which factions are being played, although they will only spawn if at least one of the human players uses a Southern Realms faction.
- Bilbali and Luccini are now independent city states that will always spawn.
- The Lichtenburg Confederacy now encompasses the Eastern Border Princes province and will also always spawn.
- Tobaro will spawn if either Estalia is not played at all or if the Estalian player starts with Lupio Sunscryer.
- Magritta will only spawn if the Estalian player starts with Lucrezzia Belladonna.

⚫ If Gashnag the Dark Prince is chosen as a starting general, then he will have to defend his lands against an early raider party of the Broken Nose faction.

⚫ Wissenland now only loses Wissenburg to rebels if played by a human.


Balance Improvements:
⚫ Kislev now receives a second starting army if not played by a human.
⚫ Kislev now starts being at war with Erengrad.
⚫ The Border Princes, Estalia and Tilea will now start with trade agreements to each other.
⚫ The Black Venom faction now starts with the "Deff Creepers" Forest Goblin Spider Rider Archers Regiments of Renown unit and an Arachnarok Spider.
⚫ Wissenburg now has a Garrison instead of a Marble industrial building.


Fixed Bugs / Issues:
⚫ The Southern Realms factions no longer have access to Warrior Priests of Sigmar.
⚫ Ungrim Ironfist now has access to the Deathblow skill, which was meant to be there as per vanilla.
⚫ Aspiring Champions, Chaos Feral Manticores and Marauder Horsemasters no longer suffer from attrition in territory that does not affect other Chaos units.
⚫ The Border Princes Ambassador is no longer available to be appointed into an office.
⚫ The Black Venom Ambassador no longer speaks like an Orc in the diplomacy menu.
⚫ Sarthorael's bullet points now show up again in the faction selection.
⚫ Louen Leoncoeur was sent to a riding school and learned how to properly ride his horse.

Version 3.4.1
To fix a complex crash bug this update also modifies some related aspects to balance the situation.

New Functions / Additions:
⚫ Wood Elf Factions can now confederate when they upgraded their home settlement to level 4.


Balance Improvements:
⚫ Vaul's Anvil and the Crag Halls were downgraded to level 1 settlements.


Fixed Bugs / Issues:
⚫ The Multiplayer Only bug of the game crashing if AI-controlled Torgovann or Wydrioth attempt to colonize the Oak of Ages has been fixed by disabling all Wood Elf occupation options for it. This means Wood Elves can no longer occupy, sack or raze the Oak of Ages while the options of other races remain unchanged.

Version 3.4
This update has a focus on reworking the Wood Elf Mini Campaign, to be as close as possible to the Grand Campaign experience as possible while preserving its unique aspects.

New Functions / Additions:
- Wood Elves Mini Campaign
⚫ Alberic of Bordelaux, The Fay Enchantress, Heinrich Kemmler and Krell are now playable.
They also have their unique Quest Items available to them, but they will be given instantly to them (like how it works for the AI) instead of receiving quests.
⚫ Bretonnian factions now have fully working faction mechanics such as Chivalry, Peasant Economy, The Green Knight, Greenskin Incursions and so on, except for a reduced Technology Tree.
⚫ Grudges now work for Karak Ziflin.
⚫ Added Victory Conditions for all Wood Elf factions.


Balance Improvements:
- Wood Elves Mini Campaign
⚫ All Wood Elf Factions now start being at war with the Warherd of the Shadowgave.
⚫ The Warherd of the Shadowgave can now make peace with Greenskins or Mousillon.
⚫ Gisoreux and Mousillon now start being at war with each other.
⚫ Bordeleaux now starts with one unit of Knight's Errant and Foot Squires each.
⚫ Carcassonne now starts with one unit of Grail Guardians and Battle Pilgrims each.
⚫ Karak Ziflin now starts with one unit of Ironbreakers.
⚫ Mousillon now starts with one unit of both Grave Guard types and Blood Knights each.
⚫ The Warherd of the Shadowgave now starts with one unit of Chaos Spawn and Harpies each.


Fixed Bugs / Issues:
- Wood Elves Mini Campaign
⚫ The scripted campaign events that you get when playing Orion or Durthu now properly work again, although the campaign will be a bit harder due to other changes with this update.
⚫ The Warherd of the Shadowgave now has properly working Beastmen mechanics such as Brayherds, Full Moon Cycles, Hidden Encampments and can recover unit health via eating captives after battles.
⚫ Morghur's main horde will now always spawn if any unlocked faction is played.
⚫ Wood Elf Offices now work properly again.
⚫ Rebel Armies in Bretonnian and Karak Ziflin's territories now correctly spawn as Greenskins.
⚫ Bretonnian factions now have the Raiding stance available.
⚫ Mousillon now has the Channeling stance available.
⚫ Karak Ziflin now has proper access to Siege Vehicles.
⚫ Updated old Bretonnian Faction Selection Buttons.


- Grand Campaign / Beastmen Mini Campaign / Generic
⚫ All factions in both Mini Campaigns (except for Black Pit and Gloomy Woodz in the Beastmen Mini Campaign) now have their full faction tech trees available.
⚫ All factions in both Mini Campaigns can now properly conquer or colonize.
⚫ If both players are playing Beastmen factions, both will now have a working Full Moon Cycle.
⚫ Torgovann and Wydrioth as AI factions in Multiplayer Campaigns should no longer crash upon trying to colonise a razed Oak of Ages.
⚫ All Beastmen factions in the Beastmen Mini Campaign now have a working Full Moon Cycle.
⚫ Empire Offices now always either have the Faction Leader in the position of "Emperor", "Grand Prince" or "Tzar" or be blank and available as intended. (Wissenland)
⚫ Beastmen can no longer make peace with Empire factions in the Beastmen Mini Campaign.
⚫ Torgovann and Wydrioth now start being at war with the Warherd of the One-Eye.
⚫ Removed the war between the Warherd of the One-Eye and Estalia.
⚫ Marienburg in the Beastman Mini Campaign now has a proper starting army.
⚫ Replaced all placeholder loading screen messages with faction-appropriate quotes.
⚫ Various description text fixes.

Fixed Bugs / Issues:
⚫ Finalized Conquer Anywhere support, which now also fully includes Norsca, Chaos and Beastmen.
⚫ Hakon Bernhardsson's and Svengor Einarsson's Shadow Spell Skills are now correctly linked.
⚫ All of Daith's and Findol's mounts now work correctly.
⚫ The Crooked Moon Mutinous Gits can no longer make peace with Skarsnik.
⚫ Fixed the bug which caused the Norsca Settlement to show up twice in the building selection.
⚫ Sarthorael's Mutated Units Melee Attack bonus is now correctly displayed as +7 instead of +7%.
⚫ Grombrindal now has a loading screen message again to explain why he starts in Kraka Drak.

Version 3.2

New Functions / Additions:
⚫ Integrated SPARTAN VI's Dwarf Clan Unit Cards into this mod
⚫ Katarin the Ice Queen and Krell are now available in Custom Battle in their current forms.
⚫ Improved Custom Battle support for Cataph's Kraka Drak and Southern Realms Overhauls to only display the units available within these mods in the Custom Battle menu while using the overhaul.


Balance Improvements:
⚫ Sarthorael and the Norsca Chaos Sorcerers (Lords) can now choose to learn Shadow magic.
⚫ Sarthorael received a new unit upkeep bonus of -20% and +7 Melee Attack for Chaos Sorcerers and other mutated units. His passive spreading of Chaos corruption was also upgraded to +3.
⚫ Kislev, Erengrad, Border Princes, Estalia and Tilea should now be less passive as they have the same behavioural schema applied to them as normal Empire factions.
⚫ Goblin Great Shamans and Night Goblin Warbosses are again unavailable to Savage Orc Tribes.
⚫ Bohemond now has the full set of Knight / Questing / Grail Vows applied to him instead of a custom set of bonuses for Grail Knights specifically.
⚫ Katarin the Ice Queen received a slight stats upgrade from being equal to a Damsel to being equal to a Prophetess.
⚫ Removed the double "Eye of the Gods" skill from legendary Norscan Chieftains.


Fixed Bugs / Issues:
⚫ All custom lord mounts are now properly implemented, which fixes the issue that a mounted custom lord showed up with a goblin unit card.
⚫ Custom Battle is now fully updated for all current factions.
⚫ Katarin the Ice Queen's hat now has the correct texture applied to it.
⚫ Various minor bugfixes and cleanup within the mod structure.

Version 3.1

New Functions / Additions:
⚫ Elspeth von Draken was added as a new Legendary Lord for Wissenland.
- She has the unlockable arcane item "Timekeeper", a magical hourglass that weakens her enemies in battle and the passive ability "Darkwalker" to regenerate her when casting.
- She can unlock the unique "Carmine Dragon" mount, which is touched by Winds of Death magic, coloring it purple and giving it the ability to increase miscast chance for enemy wizards.
- She is the only sorceress currently playable in the Empire and the only to use Death Magic.
- Of course she has a custom art style along with her dark scythe.
- She is also available in custom battle, where she fights for Wissenland.
Thanks to MixXxu for creating the original mod introducing her!

⚫ Isabella von Carstein is now available as an optional Legendary Hero.
- This is a very direct implementation of my existing mod for her, which is based on the Green Knight mechanic and rebalances her slightly to be more appropriate to her lore version.
- Her Legendary Lord version can be still played if you select her to start a campaign, but if you want to play Vlad and use her hero version, then her Legendary Lord version will be unavailable.
- She retains all of her core skills except Loremaster, but her Army Support skill was reduced to only her unique skills and her Magic Tree has been cut in half.
- As Quest Battles do not work with Legendary Heroes, she can instantly get her unique item "Blood Chalice of Bathori" once the skill is unlocked at Level 15.

⚫ Victory Conditions were added for all currently playable factions.
⚫ Diplomat Lords are now pseudo-mortal, in that they remain eternally wounded to preserve their reason of existence (being a bugfix for the Diplomacy Screen), but are otherwise essentially normal lords that can now die in a rather normal way.
⚫ The diplomat for Erengrad was renamed to become a loreful character.


Balance Improvements:
⚫ Balthasar's now has repeater rifle Outriders instead of ones with Grenade Launchers.
⚫ Moved Balthasar's Runefang back to Eben von Liebwitz.
⚫ Removed the garrison from Wissenburg, replaced it with Stables.
⚫ Added a new secessionist lord with Outriders and Pistoliers to guard Wissenburg.
⚫ Krell is now unbreakable, as he doesn't crumble or disintegrate anymore.
