  • Fixed Dragonfly's angry flying sound not being removed when prompted.

  • Mossling can now attack. He uses his spin attack.
  • Mossling can now switch between his angry form and normal form by using c.

Balance Changes
  • Dragonfly now must wait 10 seconds before he can ground pound again.

    This update is a bit lackluster, spent most of today fixing stuff in the caves mod and making the custom key functions more effiencient.

Balance Changes

  • Bearger now has to wait ten seconds before he can ground pound again.
  • Varg's HP is reduced from 1000 to 750.
  • Varg now can only have 2 active hounds.

Additions
  • Added new portrait artwork for Treeguard, Pig, Smallbird, Tallbird, Beefalo, and Spider. Special thanks to Cheshire Crow for creating the artwork and allowing me to use them in the mod.
  • Bearger can now go into "run mode" by pressing c.

Fixed Bugs/Crashes

  • Fixed moosegoose attacking all mobs around her instead of attacking one.
  • Fixed Moose/Goose's timer, she can now only lay 1 egg every 30 days.
  • Fixed Dragonfly leaving behind flying sounds when transforming.
  • There was probably a couple of other bugs that I fixed and forgot about...

Special Additions
  • Edited and Enabled Nightmare Hound:
Nightmare hound will be used a as test mob to test various features before getting them implemented to other mobs.
Nightmare hound is now using the new sanity method, this is how it works:
  • your sanity will deplete at a steady rate no matter what you equip or what time of day it is.
  • As your sanity reaches below 50% you will start to experience some debuffs. Your attacks will do less damage and you will move slower. This debuffs gets worse under 30%. While sleeping you will not regenerate health if your sanity is below 50%.
  • When your sanity is at 35% you will start losing health gradually, sleeping will stop the lose of health though.
  • Sleeping will give you 1.5 sanity per tick, you will not recieve/lose any sanity points from eating food. Your health regen doubles if you're at full sanity.

Balance Changes
  • Almost all of the mob's damage has been nerfed immensely. Mostly by half or more.

Misc
  • Added some code to make a new special key (not quite ready yet).
  • Cleaned up the code in a variety of places.

Hopefully this will be the last major update I will do to this mod before I release cave mobs. I would love to hear any feedback you have over these new balance changes and the new sanity method.

For those who aren't aware, the sanity method is supposed to help make sleep mandatory to help balance out the gameplay between player and mob. Go ahead, give it a go!

Fixed Bugs/Crashes

  • Fixed an exploit involving the Tallbird's special ability's timer being reset whenever the player disconnects/enter caves.
  • Fixed Ghost not being able to reappear from his hiding state.

  • Tallbird now does the peeping animation when it can lay eggs again.
