Changes

Bug Fixes

  • Spider Queen now have a 20% chance to spawn spider warriors.
  • Fixed Spider homes not growing.
  • Synced Moose Goose's death better.
  • Fixed Deerclops dropping his loot twice on death.
  • Hell Hound's special nightvision now gets affected by Special Vision config.
  • Fixed a possible bug where Beargers can get stuck when toggling rage mode(?).
  • Fixed Bearger never being able to do his groundpound again if he got frozen in the middle of the animation.
  • Fixed crash when mobplayers try to revive themselves.

Changes
  • Mobs that drops items will stop dropping while sleeping in homes.
  • Treeguard will now drop cones once a day instead every two days.
  • Pigtorch's lifespan has been tripled.
  • Some Mob Homes now have health, as such, you can no longer hammer them.
  • MooseGoose no longer sheds down feathers.
  • Some stat changes to mobs.
      Beefalo
      • Beefalo's health was changed from 900 to 700.
      Dweller Queen
      • Dweller Queen's HP was changed from 3000 to 1750.
      • Dweller Queen now has a cooldown inbetween attacks just like Spider Queen.
      Catcoon
      • Catcoon's HP changed from 300 to 275.
      • Catcoon's hairball timer has been reduced in half (from 8 minutes to 4 minutes).
      Varg
      • Varg's HP changed from 750 to 450.
      Dweller Queen and Spider Queen
      • HP reduced by around half, Dweller queen now has less health compared to Spider Queen but still does more damage than her.
      • Queens now have attack periods.
      • Dweller Queen's attack damage reduced from 200 to 100.
      Mossling
      • Mossling's HP changed from 350 to 250.
      Hounds
      • Hounds hunger value from food items have been decreased by about 75%.

Additions
  • Added PvP Mode!
      PvP Mode
      • PvP Mode can now be enabled, which buffs certain aspects of the mod to become more suited for PvP.
      • Homes that would hold hostile mobs will now spawn hostile mobs!
      • Mob players will now teleport to a random area on the map when spawned.
      • Mobs' stats will be rebalanced for PvP.
      • New weapons and items for human players to combat PvP mobs.
      • Maybe even more things, but who knows...
  • Volt Goat is now playable!
      Volt Goat
      • Acts like a lightning rod.
      • Gets temporary stat buffs when electrocuted.
      • Can drop goatmilk every 2-4 days.

  • MobGhost configuration is now added! You can now set it to become a ghost on death!

Misc
  • Improved some outdated bits of code.
  • Playable pets will now sort itself behind most other mod characters.

The big 2.0 update, unfortunately I didn't get to add some things I wanted to, namely pvp specific abilities and limiting the giant character selection with PvPMode on, which either I didn't know how to do yet or that it would take too long. I wanted this done before New Reigns so I didn't need to carry updates over to NR version when it got released, well I figured I added pretty much all the features I wanted during the development of the mod so here it is. I might go back and try tinkering with mob powers in a later date.

This also will probably be the last major content update for this version of Playable Pets (except for maybe the sleepmeter when I get around to that, which is hopefully soon.) Which means no new mobs or major features will likely be added to this version. When I port 2.0 to the other versions, they will also no longer recieve any more mobs, but don't worry 2.0 will add new mobs to all of them. SW might be an exception to this as I doubt I will get every single sea mob working in a short amount of time, SW version will also get "Fish Mode" which will allow selection of sea mobs. Despite this being the last content update, I will still fix any bugs/crashes that are reported and balance the mod every now and then.
So keep posting any sort of suggestions (even mob requests, you never know when I'll change my mind).

Bug Fixes

  • Synced Catcoon actions with their MobCraft actions.

Additions
  • A new mod configuration that determines how much damage mobplayers do against other players.
  • Added a new configuration for mobs with "Special Nightvision" so you have the option to not have your eyes bleed out.
  • Catcoon players can now use C to throwup a random item. (Cooldown is one ingame day)

Special vision is nightvision like the Depth Dweller's nightvision. This config simply replaces that nightvision with the regular nightvision.

Beware of playable pet public servers with PvP on, the new pvp config can be abused so keep that in mind. Also this isn't that pvp oriented update I wanted to make, that comes later.

  • Fixed Pighouse crashing when built (I do know the light doesn't appear when you sleep in it now, the light was changed a few months ago, I'll get it working again).
  • Fixed Tallbird not being able to lay eggs if her animation was interrupted before she got to lay the egg.
