Imperial soldiers can have beards too, but not as long as the sturgian or battanian ones to give them a more later byzantine look instead of ancient roman. There will be still some shaved soldiers.

Militias from all factions now will have a villager body properties instead of soldier. That means that some militias will be young or old, some imperial militias will have beard and grown hair instead of short hair and clean shave.
