v1.0.9: Fantasy's Beginning - A Behind Ahead Update
Kinda neglected the release version for a little bit, my bad... here's some much needed bug fixes and small features.

Additions
  • Added an Abyss synergy for Holy Bombs (spawns a homing locust that has a chance to explode when hitting enemies)
  • Added an Abyss synergy for Serpens (locust has a high chance to poison enemies it hits)

Bug Fixes - Many
  • Updated the mod's save manager, this should fix an error that would occur whenever The Siren is killed
  • The mod's damage stat ups now properly account for Tainted Bethany's stat down multiplier, Dead Eye, and D8
  • The mod's tears stat ups now properly account for Tainted Bethany, Epiphora, and D8
  • Fixed the mod's tear effects not synergizing with each other
  • Fixed Building Block causing the player's head to disappear briefly on pickup if its effect activated while the player was moving
  • Fixed Building Block's on pickup effect not activating if the player has Isaac's Heart
  • Fixed the synergy between Cavity and Apple! not taking into effect immediately if Cavity is picked up first, then Apple! second
  • Fixed the effect of Demonic Brace and Natalie's Ribbon activating constantly on hearts with a price tag
  • Fixed temporary familiars spawned by Eden's Tears sometimes persisting between rooms
  • Fixed an error that would occur when trying to activate Hallowed Candle in a way without holding the item (ex. Cantripped challenge)
  • Suspicious Heart will now spawn Half Red Hearts instead of Rotten Hearts if they haven't been unlocked yet

Miscellaneous
  • Decreased the brightness of Hallowed Candle/White Habanero's holy flames
  • Tweaked the color of familiars spawned from Eden's Tears replicating Quints
  • Astraea and Serpens no longer count as references for Fuzzy Pickle from Fiend Folio
  • Added ? ?????????? ??????? to Blazing Iris

v1.0.8.4: Fantasy's Beginning - Preonline Update
This will be the last update to the mod before the hyped? dreaded? online update comes out. It's small, but enjoy it while it lasts!

  • White Habanero's flames' scale are now affected by your damage; this also scales the aura size as well.
  • White Habanero nerf 2:
    • Chance maxes out at 20% at 20 luck instead of 20% at 10 luck
    • To compensate for generally lower proc rate, the flame now lasts for 4 seconds instead of 3 seconds.
  • Fixed some functions that searched all entities including things like Fiend Folio compost bins in that search.
  • Fixed tears spawned from Eden's Tears replicating Euthanasia being invisible if the player had blood tears.
  • Fixed Spirit Burner causing an error when trying to spawn a soul stone from one of its rewards (yes, in reality this was just a Spirit Burner Hotfix 3, I can't catch a break).
  • Added EID icons for all the cards in the mod.

v1.0.8.1: Fantasy's Beginning - I Had To Trudge Into the CHAPI Mines (tldr Bugfix Update)

  • Fixed Blood Pact's damage ups severely breaking with Fiend Folio/CHAPI.
  • Fixed Hallowed Candle not consuming soul/blood charges when it should be as Bethany or T.Bethany.
  • Fixed some tear effect items (namely, Spore Sac, Succubus Horn, White Habanero, and Plastic Knife) triggering on lasers that aren't fired directly from the player (such as lasers from Brimstone Bombs or Salvation).

v1.0.8: Fantasy's Beginning - Wraiths and Wings
New update? Uhh, I think so! Buffs and improvements for this one are...

Balance Changes
  • Book of Phantoms no longer requires heart containers to be used. Mainly removed since it wasn't entirely intuitive to the player what happened when the item was used and no charge gets removed, and i felt like the damage multiplier down the item gives is punishment enough.
  • Slightly reworked Wing of the Fallen, now gives the effect of Duality each floor as long as the player hasn't taken damage
  • Wing of the Fallen's damage up: 2 -> 1.5
  • Blood Pact now works on the Forgotten - losing Bone Hearts will give damage ups. Specifically, +1.2.
  • The synergy between Crystal Shard and Azazel's Brimstone now properly makes the newly spawned lasers shorter.
  • Eden's Tears can now replicate Athame and Hungry Soul.
  • Increased the chance of Spirit Burner's higher quality rewards paying out with an item pedestal.

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed Crystal Shard tears becoming invisible if the player has Uranus.

Miscellaneous Changes
  • Made the indicator when gaining damage from picking up a devil item with Wing of the Fallen more visible.
  • Blood Pact and Boiling Blood now have much more optimized code, bless REPENTOGON!
  • Negative 2 Cards' descriptions now mention how the pickups spawned disappear after a few seconds, way too long overdue, I'm sorry!
  • 5 new splash texts

Balance Changes
  • Added Nail Clippers to the Red Chest pool.
  • Healing Spell now has a special synergy with Natalie's Ribbon.

Bug Fixes
  • Angelic Wing costume now handled with a null effect, should hopefully prevent visual breakage.
  • Fixed Shattered Headphones' costume being a black square in game.
  • Fixed Fallen's Blood causing an error if held with a trinket multiplier greater than 3.
  • Fixed some errors with save data not being properly initialized, causing certain items to break.
  • Fixed some of the EID conditional descriptions returning an error if EID is disabled.

Miscellaneous Changes
  • Updated save manager again.
  • Added new DSS settings: Crystal Shard Chime Volume and Crystal Shard Chime Frequency (frequency controls the cooldown between the sound playing, to control high tear rate builds with Crystal Shard for example).
