- A few journal entries have been added:
- The ambitious heir to the throne, Jean de Brabant has been added as a character along with a journal entry for him and his regent mother. If Jean fails to reconcile his interests with that of the parliamentarians, a civil war will erupt.
- There are also separatist journals for Netherlands and Rhineland

Plantagenia:
- Journal entries for King Louis and the slavery debate have been added
- Both of these journal entries contribute to the progress of the other - the slavery debate is more likely to end in revolt if King Louis is ousted, and the circumstances in which slavery is abolished impacts whether King Louis' remains in power
- If slavery isn't abolished in time, the Liberien Revolution will fire and Liberie itself will receive events that gives choice on the country's distribution of power
- There is also a "Sea to Shining Sea" journal entry that spreads Cadien homelands

Japan:

-"Chrysanthemum Throne" includes the events from Fanfork that lead to a potential Japanese civil war
-"Exploring the Yakutian Frontier" Journal if completed allows an outsider country to claim Yakutian lands and annex them over time
Japan also gets a series of journal entries relating to railroads that grant local migration and output buff


China:

Shun has a journal entry relating to internal stability and the potential successor to its reigning Emperor
Jiangxi has a journal entry which exports missionaries to other Chinese countries. If there is enough turmoil in North and South China, it can instigate a revolt that can act as a unification play for China
Other Chinese nations receiving JE can choose to expel the Xijiao if they have closed borders, establish home affairs, or have any kind of police
Economy fixes

Other:

If Khuntien becomes independent and has nationalism researched it can develop the Tionghoa culture and have its owned states become Tionghoa homelands
Suvarnabhumi is a formable with Southeast Asian countries that have Theravada as a state religion
Becoming Andesia is now a decision rather than a conventional formable, requiring pan-nationalism and having cultural exclusion or a leader with the ideology despotic utopian
Mianjin can get a journal entry to adopt Xijiao as its state religion if there are any Xijiao pops in the country
North Africa's starting map has been changed
Dharmic ideology has been added for Bali's devout in place of Hindu Moralist so that it would tolerate both Hinduism and Buddhism

Amazonien has been split into Antarctican and Equinoxien each with different routes of expansion
Countries with any North Asian as primary culture can annex decentralized Siberian nations if they meet certain requirements
Turania, Indonesia, Andesia, Pommerania, and Abya Yala are formable now
