Thumbnail Maker Overhaul
  • The generated thumbnail has been redesigned to be more realistic and visually accurate.
  • The road width now includes the space for both sidewalks and asphalt.
  • You can now choose the texture for the sides of the road at both ground and bridge elevation, as well as removing the asphalt texture from the road.
  • Curb delimiters have been added, allowing for customizable sidewalks by adding or removing lanes before/after them.
  • Lines now represent individual lanes (previous options such as 1L, 2L, 3L have been removed).
  • The default lane direction is now two-way, and the "None" option has been removed.
  • Grass, gravel, pavement, and tree lane types have been combined into a single "Filler" type.
  • A new add-on feature allows you to choose the surface of any lane and add decorations to Filler and Curb lanes. These add-ons include: Filler, Grass, Gravel, Pavement, Tree, Benches, Flower Pots, Street Light, Double Street Light, Bollard, Hedge, Transit Stop, Trash Bin, Bike Parking, Street Ads, and Barrier.
  • The "Add stop to filler" option has been moved to the add-ons feature as "Transit Stop."
  • The user interface for customizing lane width, elevation, and speed was moved directly into the lane settings.
  • You can now remove the padding of fillers on the left, right, or both sides.
  • A duplicate button has been added for lanes.
  • A LHT (left-hand traffic) indicator has been added to thumbnails.
  • A built-in font is now used for speed signs and road widths, you can still choose a custom font.
  • You can now snap road widths to vanilla-compatible values.
  • Empty lanes are now just empty space and cannot have any add-ons.
  • Clearing lanes will now also clear the road width, speed limit, and custom name.
  • Duplicate Flip no longer duplicates the filler in the middle of the road.
  • A button has been added to the options panel which allows you to re-generate all previously exported roads in case you change your default settings or colors and want to apply the changes automatically.
New
  • Added Highways and Flat Roads road-type options.
  • Added Intersection Marking Tool auto-generated markings.
    • You can choose between IMT & AN markings in the settings.
    • IMT is now required to use this mod.
  • Setting the Buffer Width to 0 will now hide line markings at the curb.
  • Grass lanes will now change to pavement when a bus stop is present.
  • Lane surfaces that are next to each other will now be merged into one.
  • Added an indicator that a road was saved in the road list & a checkbox to hide roads you’ve already saved from the list.
  • The following options have been added to the mod's settings:
    • Place traffic lights on the opposite side of the junction.
    • Add lane arrows (enabled by default).
    • Add lane decals (enabled by default).
    • Add grass props to grass lanes (enabled by default).
    • Use vanilla tree placement.
    • Use vanilla streetlight placement.
Changes
  • The default width of bus lanes has been changed to 3 meters.
  • The angle of diagonal parking has been increased from 45 to 60 degrees.
  • The extra road width will now be used to expand sidewalks rather than fillers.
  • Pedestrian Traffic lights no longer get generated if the walking distance is less or equal to 3m and fixed them sometimes not showing when they should.
  • Removed ghost lanes, IMT points are now generated for all lanes.
  • Trees will now always be visible, and you can use an AN toggle to hide those close to the intersection.
  • The curb on crosswalks has been lowered and is now almost flush with the asphalt.
  • The filler settings have been simplified to only include "filled" and "dashed". The previous options can now be selected within the Thumbnail Maker.
  • The generation options panel will no longer appear after selecting a road to build. Instead, the generation process will start immediately.
  • The elevation of props and lanes on grass, pavement, and gravel will default to a higher elevation, and props will no longer change elevation when hiding markings;
  • AN Fillers can no longer be individually hidden.
  • The buffer width can no longer be set to a value below 0.
  • Removed the minimum width limit for tram side poles.
  • The mod folder has been renamed from BlankRoadBuilder to RoadBuilder.
Fixes
  • Traffic signs being placed for lanes in the opposite direction has been fixed.
  • LHT interactions between the Thumbnail Maker and the game have been fixed.
  • Loading roads while having different LHT settings in Thumbnail Maker now works correctly.
  • AN markings’ dash length being double its intended value has been fixed.
  • Horizontal parking’s lane width has been fixed.
  • Width calculations of fillers has been fixed.
  • Fixed the scrollbar issue in the settings.
  • Custom UI font in thumbnail maker now works correctly.
  • Improved the search to also match words from different places in the road description.

Road Markings
Added auto-generated road markings that can be toggled with AN.
  • You can choose between multiple presets in the settings, or create a custom one yourself
  • You can choose the default visibility state of markings in the settings
  • Median fillers can be toggled individually as well

  • Props on a median filler will automatically adjust their height when markings are toggled
