This mod is not meant to be played along others. For the best experience I highly recommend you disable other mods while running with this one and play in at least Nightmare+ difficulty. Amount of NPCs recommended: Normal or Plentiful.

This mod is meant to be played with the Eye of Providence. I do not offer support for Mythical Gourd runs as it is still new and the mod was created with the Eye of Providence in mind.

Gameplay instructions (I'll give you a quick briefing on Thunder Lord's Legacy for content up to v1.0.7)

Make sure you equip Thunder Lord's Legacy destiny and the Ring of the Thunder Lord. The idea is that the ring gives you passive ligthning, reaching 300 will increase your ATK, at 200ATK it starts the first main story of the mod and triggers a dungeon. This dungeon story is started when you cultivate on the map (not in the sect) and it has to be finished, if you die you have to restart your character as it's a one time only thing, so if you think you're not prepared, don't cultivate, use sect cultivation instead. Finishing the first dungeon gives you a mount, which I suggest you equip because of the stats it gives. After clearing the first dungeon, you'll get an event which spawns the next part of the story which is called The Red Parade, Be careful as this dungeon is exponentially harder than the first and you also have to finish it to move on with the content. It's going to be spawned as a world map event which does not expire, so take your time to prepare.
You can use the Demonic Grounds world map event to power up, just look for it as it can spawn anywhere near you within a certain range. (it takes some time to spawn but once you've managed to trigger it make sure you do the grind so you don't regret later)

To continue the story you have to join a sect, I recommend Tian Fa Sect as it's the story sect and it's also created as a lightning sect, the game has a tendency to change this though so be warned. You'll eventually have to become the Sect Leader to advance with the story, so do that.

Now also contains Dragon God Cursed by The Heavens and Jianke Zhi Nu and the mods have been expanded upon with new additions and tweaks to stories.

Jianke Zhi Nu Story:

Dragon God Cursed by The Heavens Story:

You are the reincarnation of the Dragon God of Thunder and Fire, an extremely powerful immortal being that keeps reincarnating in human form in order to preserve itself. You have been wronged by The Heavens and cursed to stay in human form forever. One day, you hope to have your revenge and claim your rightful place among the Gods.

V1.0.7 - Bug Fixes

Fixed bugs that were in the mod due to the latest couple of updates the game had.

Everything should work as intended, up to the latest content in v1.0.6.

- fixed an issue with the Red Parade being a static event, it should've been deleted after first entry (it was meant to be a one time thing)
- tweaked Red Parade loot table so now we don't have 3 billion manuals to deal with (sorry about that, I found out a little late about this unexpected "feature")
- added more story, you must enter A SECT for this to trigger and work your way up the ranks, it will trigger if you're bellow Elder status, any sect works but I suggest the LIGHTNING specific sect I've added in a previous version.
To further advance the plot you will need to become the sect leader.

Hotfix for 1.0.5
While I was doing testing I forgot to switch back spawn probability for an NPC in the 1.0.5 update from the Demonic Grounds dungeon that was causing a single Elite to spawn instead of a random chance between 5 separate Elite NPC spawns.

Thunder Lord's Legacy 1.0.5

Added 2 events, 1 world map event and 3 new dungeons, each event having it's specific dungeon triggered
Events:
- Undead Infestation (plot event)
- Spider Cave(nameless plot event)
- Demonic Grounds (word map event)

To activate the event you must simply walk and hope for the best, you will know when they trigger, but the chances have been lowered so they don't trigger non stop as it can get quite tedious.
Each event has its own specific loot table.

Added 8 new items, they all spawn in the Demonic Grounds world map event.
Crystal of Defense (+10% DEF)
Crystal of Energy (+10% Max Energy)
Crystal of Vitality (+10% Max Vitality)
Orb of Luck (+10 Luck)
Cracked Orb of Luck (+5 Luck)
Shén jì guǒshí ( +100 Skill Points) (also known as the Magic Fruit)

Old Demon's Core (supposedly it makes you immune to damage every time you've received 3 hits during battle) - let me know how this performs for you as I'm still not completely sure if it works but even if it doesn't, I'll probably make some story for this later down the line as it's a unique item and a one time only drop.

The discardable token is now a monthly thing so you can chose to keep it for monthly use if you would like to teleport around Yong Ning sects randomly for whatever reason.

Reach 25 Lightning to receive your first Ultimate skill manual of the series while cultivating outside (previously 145), up to 999 lightning.

Dark-Red Blood Cultists starting hatred towards player -50, reduced from -1000.


Fixes all known bugs related to IDs which were causing issues on new character creations.
Fixed bug that was causing the "Ancient Sword Body" destiny to not show up due to duplicated IDs by the game.
Fixes bugs related to adventures and custom NPCs which would not allow the 2 new NPCs to spawn ocasionally.

The Red Parade Update B

Changed one of the NPCs (monkey bosses) from the Red Parade dungeon as it was making it too hard, this one's a little bit closer to what the Red Parade should actually be as well.

Added 2 new destinies that are also available to the player character:
- Ancient Sword Body (Sword)
- Mythic Buddha Reincarnation Method (Palm)

Added 2 new NPCs to help the player which start with the new destinies, one is a palm user the other is a sword user.

Changed spawn locations for the dark cultists NPCs as they were making the starting area much too hard for new characters. (much too hard even for me)

Extra plot for the Red Parade which will force you to make a choice, you either "Give Up" or you "Perservere". You'll know when the time comes.
