Happy Birthday Pastelle! It's been two years since I released this lil goober, so i figured I'd give her a good ol buff patch that helps her out in the damage department. If you still play Pastelle, I'd like to thank you for enjoying this character after all this time. You're awesome :)

Neutral Special (Spiral Bind)
~Overall code rework to ensure that all hits connect, so that Pastelle can teleport on a Soaked opponent, and pursue them without issue.
~Extended parrystun has been removed. (still has projectile parrystun though)
~Can now be reflected if parried!
~Fixed a bug where it could go through the stage lol.

General Fixes
~In Practice Mode, all hitboxes that create the Soaked effect on hit are now cyan colored!
~Fixed a bug where the last frame of Dair's hurtbox was not properly aligned.
~Deleted a few unnecessary sprites in the file that weren't in use.
~Two new colors! (Strawberry Jam and Grape Jelly)

In this update, Up Air, Back Air, and Down Strong have been adjusted to have some better satisfaction when landing them. Neutral Special is now more consistent as well, so you should be able to properly combo after a soak teleport.

Neutral Special (Spiral Bind)
+Any hit will now teleport Pastelle to a Soaked opponent instead of needing two hits.

Forward Special (Stamp Surge)
~No longer has Clarien stun upon hitting a Soaked opponent.
~No longer removes the Soaked effect.

Down Special (Reflective Counter)
– Total Lifetime (12 -> 9)

Up Strong (Ink Cyclone)
– Endlag has been slightly increased.

This patch gives a much needed buff to FStrong as well as some QoL changes to her other moves.

UStrong (Ink Cyclone)

~ Less active and more punishable on whiff, does not cover as much range and time as before.
~ Angle now sends at 90 degrees.
~ Animation and hitboxes are now consistent, instead of blinking in and out like before due to in between frames.
+ Pratfall on whiff has been removed.
- Ustrong can no longer go off the ledge.

Fair (3-Stroke Air Combo)

~ No longer teleports you into the move!
~ Reduced bounce on hit and added angle flipper 9 on the first hit instead of flipper 6.

Jab (3-Stroke Combo)

~ Overall rework, feels better than before and was way too easy to drop lol.
~ Some sounds have been adjusted.

Dash Attack (Spiral Spin)

~ Overall streamlined rework much like Jab and Ustrong.

DTilt (Slip Slide Kick)

~ Timing and Hspeed have been adjusted to match the animation.
~ More startup has been given.

NSpecial (Spiral Bind)

+ Cooldown has been cut in half.
~ Added more startup in exchange for being actionable sooner.
~ Added hitstun multipliers.

FSpecial (Stamp Surge)

~ Fixed a bug where pratfall would occur at the end of the move despite being on the ground.

USpecial (Ink-a-chute)

– Hitbox has been adjusted to where it only covers the upper part of the animation.
+ Added knockback scaling, creating an option for off the top situations.

DSpecial (Reflective Counter)

+ Cooldown has been reduced.
- Hitboxes have slightly shrunk.
- Base KB has slightly reduced.

Stat Changes

Jab (3-Stroke Combo)

-Tilt cancelling after a parried jab will now put you in parry stun. (Shoutouts to Bar-Kun btw)

Forward Air (3-Stroke Air Combo)

-No longer drags opponents with soft/super armor.
-Now has whifflag lmao.

Up Strong (Ink Cyclone)

~Fully Reworked Move, now only juggles with 2 hitboxes per cycle (1~2, 4~5), and the back hitboxes now push the opponent back and away instead of being part of the multihit.
+Hitbox 7 now scoops the opponent into the last hit if they haven't already DI'd out of the move.
~Hitboxes 3 & 6 now deal 4 damage and send the opponent at angle 130, away from Pastelle and pushing them out of the multihit, so that opponents hit from behind Pastelle don't get scooped into the multihit.
-Hitboxes 1, 4, & 7 deal 1 damage, and hitboxes 2 & 5 deal 2 damage, while the final hit deals 6 damage, for a total of 13 (In comparison to the previous Up Strong where all uncharged hits would deal a total of 22 damage).

Up Tilt (Shoryupen)

+Knockback Angle Adjusted (75 => 80).
~Changed verticality and adjusted the hitbox size.
~Added one more frame of startup.

Special Changes

~New HUD elements to indicate cooldowns in progress.
-Neutral Special (Spiral Bind) now has a 2.5 second cooldown between each use.
-Down Special (Reflective Counter) now has a 6 second cooldown instead of 4 between each use.
~Fixed a bug where DSpecial could be used without much of a cooldown when used in the air.
+Forward Special (Stamp Surge) can now be cancelled via wall jumping.

~Added a new alt color: Mushroom Ink (Fungal Wastes).
~Removed the cyan highlight from the charselect and results screen images.

Many changes this time around. Up Strong NEEDED to be fixed so badly and I'm glad I fixed it up! The main reason why NSpecial got nerfed with a cooldown was due to it coming out after a Soaked interaction. Also Pastelle gets to live a little bit longer so have fun!
