Units

- Yuanrong Crossbowmen fires 8 shots once.

- Ji now gives a debuff when hitting an enemy, reducing weapon accuracy, reducing weapon damage, and fatigue penalty

- Added Militia Long Axemen. The following characters can recruit them at rank 1.

- Regional exclusive units now take a replenishment penalty, but the base region gives them a replenishment bonus. (this change is not compatible with save files)



Factions

- Ma Teng and Shie Xie can not recruit Han Provincial units anymore.

- Now each officer followers can not be unequipped. when the character equipped the officer follower, it will be removed after 20 turns.

- Ma Teng has an unique faction resource and an unique assignment.

Unique faction resource : Horse Breeding

As the horse breeding tier increases, the mass and replenishment of cavalry units increase. but the upkeep grows up too. The last tier enables a special abillity for all cavalry.

Xiliang Supply Lines and Tribal Horse resource buildings will increase Horse Breeding.

Unique assignment : Sell Horses

Decrease Horse Breeding and gain income.

- Zhang Yan has an unique faction resource.

Unique faction resource : Black Mountain

The higher the Black Mountain, the better the performance of the black mountain units.

The last tier enables special abillities for each black mountain unit.

Black Mountain Hideout and Recruit prisoners choice will increase Black Mountain

3.2c to 3.3

Unit Recruiting

- Common units of the Han faction are no longer unlocked by reforms. now they are unlocked by the rank of characters.

Rank 1 - Militia, basic Buqu units
Rank 4 - Advanced Buqu units
Rank 5 - basic Elite units
Rank 6 - Advanced Elite units
Rank 7 - Dragon units, Royal Guards (when the faction has a throne)

(Most of them follow these rules, but in some special cases they may be unlocked for Rank 2 or 3.)


- Now all Han factions use the common unit roster. Instead, when the faction occupies a main settlement in some specific region, the specific types of units will be unlocked.

Characters

- The court noble mechanism has been removed.

- The additional skillset of Han and YTR characters has been more consistently organized. All unique characters have their own additional skillset.

- All characters get 2 skill points at rank 3, rank 5, and rank 10.

- Simplified the unit pool that can be recruited when Namman and Han people are recruited into each culture.

- Changed Lady Du to Lady Liu (Yuan Shao's wife)
* Lady Du is associated with MTU's concubine mechanism. But TROM doesn't use concubine mechanism, so she needed to be a different character.


Ancillaries

- Removed Xianchenying officer, Danyang officer.

- Added Sogdian officer that unlocks Sogd units to a character. Player faction can earn it from Sogdian Merchant incident.


Buildings

- Removed Danyang Base.

- Removed Sogd Town. Sogd regions are replaced by Qiang.


Units

- Added Buqu Raid Cavalry. No shield, using sabre, light cavalry. Fire-Earth double Wuxing.

- Removed

Misc

- Reforms no longer require faction rank.

- All MTU events have been temporarily removed for debugging. The event to bring in Cai Yan has been recreated.

- Added an incident that pumps the experience of the low rank characters. The 4~5 tiers school buildings trigger it.

- Fixed a bug the Huang Zu was not properly targeted in Sun Ce's faction mechanism.

- Han Volunteer units are now faction-specific units, not characters. The name has been changed to the Han Provincial Units, and the Governor factions and Liu Chong faction can recruit them.

- The composition of the captain unit will be upgraded by Yuan Shao and Yuan Shu factions' rank.

- In siege, tunnels now break 3 walls. (Previously it broke only 1 wall.)

- UI such as unit classification has been changed more systematically and clearly.

- Various bug fixes and optimization work.


Battle

- Base hit rate changed from 40 to 76. The hit rate of all units is adjusted by the weapon. (only for the units, not the generals.)

- Weapon stat rules by tier are as follows.

- Bat, All Dual-Wield Weapons, Glaive (light) have VS infantry bonus.

- Spear, Two Handed Spear, Ji, Halberd, Glaive (heavy) have VS cavalry, VS elephant bonus.

- All elephants have a fixed hit rate of 30.

- All weapons are classified into Militia, Buqu, and Elite by the user. +-20% damage around Buqu class.

- All ranged infantry units' attack speed is -25% if there is no 'Good Melee Combat' attribute.
*Don't get confused. They are different from melee units with ranged weapons.

- All units that are not ranged infantry and use one-handed weapons without a shield have +25% attack speed.


- All character's health and weapon damage have been reduced.

- The charge bonus of all units has been reduced.

- Weakened cavalry charge, Infantry bracing is also weakened, and the mass of high-tier cavalry is greatly increased.
Therefore, while the charge damage was lowered overall, the face-to-face charging efficiency of the high-tier cavalry increased.

- Buqu Axemen, Buqu Archers, Buqu Crossbowmen, Buqu Repeating Crossbowmen have light leather armour. They are light infantry now.


Submod

- I'm working on the following 3 submods

- Heavy units can not climb the wall.
- More skill points.
- More Powerful characters in Romance mode.

- TUP compatible works will start after the next DLC release.


Future Plan

- Add two-handed axe militia (character-only units. Wen Chou, Yan Liang, Huang Gai etc.)

- Unique faction resource for Zhang Yan

- Add an special item for Sogdian merchants incident.

- Supporting custom battles, MOH campaign.
