  • Added Kylo Rens Crossguard Lightsaber ( Huge special very big thanks to Im Not Meow Meow for the model )
  • Restored hidden NPC weapon support ( works like shit )
  • Fixed excessive damage force on the SWEP

  • Fixed, tweaked and improved hook breaking detection and error message display
  • Added convar fixing code to automatically reselect the models and sounds if you are still trying to use the old ones.

  • Fixed dropping the Lightsaber SWEP keeping the looping sounds going on forever
  • Fixed spawning the weapon thorough Lua in non Sandbox gamemodes making the weapon invisible
  • Added information about modding / modifying / spawning the weapon to the .lua file of the SWEP.

  • HUD Blur is not disabled by default ( Enable it with rb655_lightsaber_hud_blur 1 )
  • Fixed HUD positions and widths to be the same on all resolutions
  • Updated tool usage information
  • Added experimental HUD messages that show up when some other addon is breaking Staw Wars Lightsabers
  • The HUD now properly shows what key to press to open the Force Selection and select the Force Powers
  • Fixed missing Count Dooku model
  • Nerfed Force Combust - Burn duration now depends on distance
  • Added a way to disable the "Hilt on Side" feature ( rb655_lightsaber_hiltonbelt 0 )
  • Improved handling of bad player models and non-player model models
  • Damage detection improvements
    • You can now hit enemies behind obstacles if the blade actually hits them.

  • New convar list:
    • rb655_lightsaber_hiltonbelt 1/0 - Default = 1 - Serverside - Show the Lightsaber hilt on player models belt if you holster your Lightsaber
    • rb655_lightsaber_hud_blur 1/0 - Default = 0 - Clientside - Enables the fancy blur effect on the Lightsaber SWEP HUD
    • rb655_lightsaber_infinite 1/0 - Default = 0 - Serverside - Enables infinite Force

  • New Hooks:
    • GM:CanUseLightsaberForcePower( Entity owner, string power ) - return false to disallow owner to use given Force Power

  • Fixed Lightsaber SWEP hilts not syncing in multiplayer
  • Fixed Lightsaber SWEP blade position being in wrong places in some cases

  • Added new Force power: Force Lighting
  • Added new effects for Force Heal, Force Repulse & Force Lighting

  • Buffed Force Absorb & Force Heal
  • Completely reworked Force power selection:
    • Press F to toggle Force power selection
    • Press 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 to select Force power
    • New HUD for Force selection that takes less space

The second "May the 4th be with you" update has arrived!



Changes include:
* New ignition sounds ( 6 in total, 3 new ones, 3 are fast versions of existing ones )
* Swing sound no longer plays when you don't swing the thing
* Hum sound gets lounder the faster you move
* The "Hitting World Sound" is now quieter
* Removed the "Sync Weapon & Entity" options from the tool, this behaviour is now default
* Reduced filesize
* Added ability to spawn the SWEP with right click on the tool
* Removed the "Pickup this lightsaber" option from context menu of lightsabers
* Adjusted position of Mauls Saberstaff
* You can finally use the second blade with the SWEP
* Switch to knife holdtype when underwater or holding double bladed saber

* Reworked Force Repulse ( It is now hold to charge )
* Added new mechanics for Force Leap
* Added proper descriptions for Force powers
* Added two new force powers: Force Heal and Force Absorb
* Changed the Force HUD a little bit ( Made it 3D2D )
* Force doesn't recharge for 3 secs after using a Force power

* Minor internal improvements
* Some duplications/saves with this mod may break!
