Tips For Niflheim

If you're here then you probably are attempting to go through and get the armor or close the world tears, but If you don't care about any of the following things that are world tears, armor, or the Valkyrie Then don't bother with this area, there is nothing of significance in Niflheim

Tips

1. Take your time when you first start off do not try rushing your way through when you don't even have one piece of Ivaldi's armor
   
2. Get Ivaldi's rusted armor from the center workshop, this armor gives you resistance from the fog.
   
3. Avoid the Valkyrie until you have the full set of Ivaldi's armor you will not be able to kill her with the amount of time you are given
   
4. Take advantage of the fact that when you are in grabbing animations your time does not decrease while you are in these animations(Use Atreus's Light Arrows for the stun)
   
5. Collect every chest you see even the smallest ones, they give you more time and they give you Mist Echos(You need a lot of these if you want to 100% this area)

you can definetly kill the valk without any piece of Ivaldi's armor. i got her on my second run through niflheim. just do a shit ton of damage quickly and you'll be able to go back easily with the chests that spawn after her death

There's also a bunch of purple talismans that drop in this area that reward resistance against fog which you can use if you have no Ivaldi armour. You attach them to your gear.
There is also a purple shield talisman that increases your health and resistance to fog. It's worth using after every battle as it will rechange between fights.

Open smaller chests in an area first because each time you open a chest, the number echoes you get on your next chest increase, this way you can earn slightly more than you normally would.

You can also sell Aesirbane, Hazeweave, Niflheim Alloys and other crafting materials if you have maxed out your gear to minimise grind for the anchors a little
