RESPEC YOUR CHARS - Temple of Anamnesis

A small temple in the Forest of Malan Yera containing a respawning tome allowing your party to respec/respend skill points. Rest to respawn the tome.

At the moment, this must be done by importing your party from a save, saving after re-speccing, and then importing in to a new game. This means that, at the moment, you cannot re-spec midway through a dungeon run.

Please note also that this will reset your EXP progress to the next level.

it's a total remake just for the purposes of being able to import and export parties into the actual vanilla game!

hey puyopsy! good news! you can use the remake of "the legend of grimrock" custom dungeon mod. exactly the same with the one "small" downside is that dreams don't function properly, but that's a small price to pay. the link is in my next post.

puyopsy: It has to be a custom dungeon. The original campaign can't import characters. The modding format of Grimrock means that all mods pretty much only work with modded dungeons, and they usually have to be added to each mod by the author. For this one, you could import to my dungeon, respec, and import into a custom dungeon, but not the main game. Wish I could do something about it, but unfortunately that's the way it is.

Hello, I tried to use it and the only thing I don't understand is "how can you (re)import your characters from the Temple of Anamnesis to a New game" ?
On my side, I can't import my characters, the option is not available!

Sorrry, not understanding the question entirely. @laurent.melaer This isn't a skillpoint farming area, you seem to misunderstand. It's just a room with a tome which allows you to reallocate skill points. If you want to change a Fighter for instance from a swordsman to an axe fighter you can do so. You don't get any free points.

interesting mode but i dont like when thinks are easy and a skillpoint farming area is not what i like;)

Right, I got that. I suppose I'll add a note in the description. The idea was to rest and then it respawns on the altar.
