ExtendedOST Vol 1 W/ Dawnguard & Dragonborn Support

Açıklama
Tired of Skyrim's limited soundtrack? Want a variety of music for your adventures, but don't want the hassle of editing and converting songs? Well then this mod is the one for you! SquirrelQueen's ExtendedOST adds lore friendly songs to your Skyrim adventure.

Vol 1 currently adds 54 new songs to Skyrim. This includes music from The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Morrowind, How to Train Your Dragon, and more!

If you are downloading the ExtendedOST Vol1 W/ Dawnguard and Dragonborn Support you will not need the other version of Vol 1.

Link to manual install files for those who don't want to go through the Steam Workshop.

Add Ons

Hearthfire Add-On (seperate file): Adds 7 new songs to all player owned homes.
Unique Boss Music Add-on (3 seperate files): Adds 15 new songs, 5 for Alduin, 5 for Miraak, and 5 for Harkon.

Alternate Editions

LOTR Only Edition: Only adds Lord of the Rings songs. You can only have this or ExtendedOST installed...Though I guess having both you defeat the purpose of the LOTR Only Edition :3.

Current Additions:
17 Dungeon Songs
14 Exploring Songs
9 Boss Battle Songs
3 Civil War Songs
5 Inn Songs
2 Town Songs
2 College Songs (One is used for temples)
2 Death Songs

Mod Problems:
All Temples have their original OST replaced temprorarily as I had to make a seperate list for them both, but not to worry they will have their vanilla songs back soon.
There is currently a problem with the load order, please make sure this mod is the last to be loaded or you may get a CTD when loading saved games.

Future Plans for this mod:
Vol 2: This will add even more music, including any requests!

A not so lore friendly add on: Soundtracks with electric guitars!? Blasphemy! Don't worry they will still be immersive.

FAQ:

1: MORE LOTR, RAWR!
Whoa, calm down. I go through a process when adding songs to Skryim, trying hard to keep it immersive, so it takes some time to go through my library of music and pick out songs and place them where I feel they work best. But don't worry there will be more LOTR songs.

2. SquirrelQueen, can you add X song or music from X?
Yes, but there are a few things that I look at. One is popularity, if a song is really demanded for then I will most likely put it in. The other is if I feel if the song is immersive/lore friendly then by all means I will add it.

3. This song is too loud, too soft, too long, or fades in and out wrong.
Thank you for bringing it up. Please, please, write down a description of the song you find so I can look into it.

4. What's the name of this song? Will you post a list of songs you used?
See bottom of description ;3

5. Will this conflict with any mods I use?
This mod is very flexible, but it will most likely conflict with any mods that change/edit the soundtrack. It won't confict with any mods that replace main menu or bard music though.

6. Will this replace the vanilla soundtrack?
Nope, this mod just adds in songs so that you can still enjoy Skyrim's fantastic soundtrack.

7. My game CTDs when loading/saving!
This is most likely a mod load error. Make sure ExtendedOST is last on your load list.
Known mods that absolutley must load before ExtendedOST:
Burning Skies(Become a Dragon)
Whiterun Alive
Civil War Overhaul
and for some reason 360 Walk and Run: Running Backwards Speed Adjust (I honestly don't understand why this must be before ExtendedOST)
There maybe other mods that must load first, so to be safe just keep ExtendedOST last.

8. I don't think this song works well or I think this song would work better here.
Give me the best description of the song and I'll check it out.

9. Can you only add LotR Songs?
Of course, please check out SquirrelQueen's ExtendedOST LoTR Only Edition.

All credit goes to their respectful owners, I own nothing but the time I put into this mod. Big thanks to Bethesda for their fantastic game.

Papi Mana ? 21 Şub 2016 @ 10:03
Amazing mod, I have been using it for ages. One of my favorite moments was when I was defending Whiterun as the Stormcloaks came charging in, as they beat down the barriers Guardians at the Gate started and then shit went down

Why does this need DLC? Can't I just use with Skyrim w/Dawnguard? Since all I have is Dawnguard. :L

ExtendedOST Complete Edition Phase 1 has been released!
TheDreadbyrd  [yaratıcı] 17 Haz 2015 @ 19:04
@klebimon it should not affect your game, just specific dlc areas will be since you can't go to them.

Also look forward to an overhaul of all ExtendedOST files. I have come out of modding retirement for the time being and will be working on a collection that features and MCM to mute any songs you don't want to hear!

ExtendedOST is here to stay! Valve has removed the paywall!
TheDreadbyrd  [yaratıcı] 24 Nis 2015 @ 17:16
Due to Steam's change of the Workshop I will be removing all ExtendedOST mods from the Steam Workshop. You can still download them from my mediafire account and manually install them, but I will not support Valve's paywall change to the Workshop.
