This mod is a collection of hybrid recurve longbows. I tried to make the recurve longbows serve a different purpose then the regular bows that came with skyrim. These recurve longbows have greater distance and have a greater sneak attack multiplier. The drawback is that drawing the recurve longbows takes a lot longer than vanilla bows. This mod doesn't just add a bunch of new bows you can simply craft. Some are craftable others must be bought or found. I have tried to balance them in with skyrim so they are not over powerful and should seamlessly fit in with everything else. The recurve longbows will show up in the world of skyrim based off the player’s current level and skills.

== Help Chest == Troubleshooting ==

If you went to Northwatch Keep and couldn't find Solonor, or got the wrong level version of Solonor don't fret the Help Chest can help. If you having a issue go to Faendal's House in Riverwood and look for the Orange Chest on the cupboard and activate it and follow the prompts. There is a picture of the chest its orange.

This add-on is mainly for peoples save games that have been broken by so many embedded scripts.

== Unigue Longbow Solonor ==

Introducing a new unique Longbow called "Solonor" This bow can be found at Northwatch Keep after level 18. If you show up before level 18 you will get a regular enchanted bow, Now the bow will respawn until you pickup any version of the solonor longbow. Example: You show up at level 15 and pickup the regular enchanted bow following normal respawn rates the next time you show up at or after level 18. Version 1 solonor will be available. WARNING if you pick any version of solonor the bow will not respawn again.

There are three versions of this bow
Version 1 is availiable after level 18
Version 2 is available after level 34
Version 3 is available after level 50
*Version 3 is stronger than Version 2 which is stronger than Version 1

The Longbows arrow number is tied to its enchantment charge so if you run out of arrows recharge the bow.
***My only problem is if you recharge the bow while its equipped it won't add arrows to fix this simply unequip and reequip the bow.

I've also added a new merchant at Thaumaturgist's Hut who sells a interesting item. This part is slightly unfinished I'm currently working on adding more items in the future.

== Features ==

* Longbows can shoot 50% further then standard bows
* Do more damage than existing bows.
* Will increase your sneak critical damage from 2 times to 2.5 times. If you have the deadly aim perk it is increased from 3 times to 4 times.
* The downside to each bow is that the pullback time is very high and shouldn’t be used in close combat.

A:

* Ancient Dragonbone Longbow - Can only be crafted with Ancient dragon bones that drop off Ancient, revered, and legendary dragons after level 50.
* Solonor - Can be found at Northwatch Keep after level 18, 34, and 50

Q. The ID codes aren't working!

A. As skyrim loads .esp files it alters ID codes so all mods have a unique ID code. If this happens try using the help command and type: help "ebony longbow"

Q. Those aren't Longbows!

A. They are Hybrid recurve longbows, but typing out "Ancient Nord Hybrid recurve longbow" is just too long. so please bare with me.

== Upgrade ==

This mod does require dawnguard and my Longbows Mod

== Uninstall ==

Remove the LongbowDG.esp, Longbow.esp, LongbowDG.bsa, and Longbow.bsa files, and restart your game. I have removed this several times and haven't had any issues. if you do let me know.

* I do plan on add more unique Longbows in the future, but it takes time. Check back regularly for updates.
