WoW Style Paladin (v.952)

Descripción
WoW Style Paladin

Development History:

My development of this mod begins with a basic desire; that every ARPG (within reason) should have a fantastic Paladin class. Paladins, irrespective of game or strength, are my favorite class.

That said, there are certainly some games where Paladins shine more than others. The Paladin that I believe shines the most is none other than Blizzard Entertainments World of Warcraft Paladin. In the WoW Paladin, we see a class with spectacular art, useful skills, and a great playstyle. Thus, in the development of this mod, I have taken great inspiration from Blizzard Entertainment.

Features in the current Patch (1.50):

- A unique class, available to both genders: the Paladin

- A unique resource bar known as Holy Power, as seen in World of Warcraft.

- The Retribution Skill Tree, comprised of 15 skills, all specifically and painstakingly designed to look and sound unique in comparison to existing Torchlight II skills. Designed to compliment each other, creating a fast paced and powerful playstyle. Each of these skills have custom skill icons, imported directly from WoW, giving this mod a polished feel.

- The Protection Skill Tree, also comprised of 15 skills, which offers a completely different playstyle to the Retribution Paladin, and similarily painstakingly and precicely designed.

- The Holy Skill Tree, which will function to augment the Retribution and Protection playstyles, rather than being a playstyle in and of itself. Thus far, it only contains a single skill: Light of Dawn.

- Enormous effort into ensuring that the Paladin is not overpowered in comparison to the other classes.

Comprehensive patch notes are kept at the bottom of the page in the discussion fourm; during significant patches, I will create another discussion explaning my design decisions, which you are welcome to comment on and contribute to.

Future Development:

There hasn't been a great deal going on for me in the world of gaming, so I've decided to revist the WoW Style Paladin, and complete what I started some time ago. I've made a good start, and hopefully I'll continue to update him over the course of the next few weeks.

Feedback:

Your feedback on the Paladin is particularly welcome, and can be left on the bottom of the Steam page. Naturally, I cannot test everything with the Paladin, so I am after a list of things:

PVP reports, for PVP balancing purposes

PVE reports, for PVE balancing purposes

Glitches, issues, or anything else of that sort.

Compatibility:

Definitely compatible with the current version of Synergies, and should be compatible with pretty much any other mod out there.

Credit:

All credit for skill names and icons, and the resource bar, goes to Blizzard Entertainment.

Special thanks to Danrazer, my little brother, who redesigned the Holy Power resource bar.

Credit to Glenn Rane for the awesome cover image of Tirion Fordring!

Credit to Julie Bell for the art of the female Paladin!

About Me:

I am an amateur modder; my ability to model things are virtually non-existent, but I am a decent programmer, and can usually self-teach myself editors and the like.

I've said enough here. If you want to see what he's like, download this mod and give the WoW Style Paladin a shot!

I am sad this never saw further development. It seems like it never quite got finished. I really enjoy it. But it feels like it needs further tweaking and a 3rd tree to put your extra points into.

Great start, but sadly incomplete, so I can't justify spending more than a few hours with it.

I would not bother with this as it has not been updated, still has skills missing, if they are going to complete it, rmove it.

Consecration is broken. It doesn't show up as a skill, there's a blank picture with a button to put levels into, and... there's nothing. And it bugs me.

Righteous Fury level 5 is missing:
