Kokurase Episode Guide!

Hello fellow adventure players, and welcome to Kokurase! In which this guide will help you more or less handling out most of the stuff in the game, some of it which will be self-explanatory, but others require some reading and visual prowess, either way. Both in-game and achievement wise.

Basic controls...
Keyboard/Controller (Xbox Defualt)

Arrow Keys/Stick - Movement
X Key/B Button - View Menu
Shift Key/A Button - Hold to Run
Enter Key/X Button - Confirm

Episode 1

1st Note: If you get stuck or something like a text event or else where, use the "Key Phrases" in certain spots when necessary, and use the "Switch" feature when a character is available to use in Green.

2nd Note: The following achievements in Episode 1 are story related and cannot be missed...
-Welcome to Hanesato / First phrase / First swap / Request taken / Bald mission / Always tidy up / Red threads jointed / Mission accomplished / Sign of storm

However, the other two achievements are missable, but the answers/hints are mentioned below.

Duck and cover
Hide Sakura from the view of Yoshimitsu.

Backup a save in case of mistake, make sure your character is in front/behind of Sakura while Yoshimitsu doesn't see her.

Another romance
Encounter a beginning of love.

It requires you to answer 10 questions correctly in a row from the above image, here's the shortlist in case you're looking to find the answers.

The ones mentioned below are missable unless you answer them correctly.

I remember well
Remember the cat's name without any mistake.

For this, it may be missable if you input it incorrectly, but the cat's name is Maro.

Perfect paperwork
Sort all papers out correctly.

For this, once you reach the point where you handle out the paperwork to Accept or Reject it, press left to Accept, or right to Reject. Be aware that this too is also missable and requires answering all 14 requests in a row without getting a single request wrong, here are all the answers.

One is missable (Boss's monologue), the following hints are mentioned below.

Friendship, effort, and victory
Defeat J.E.C.

After you get to the point where Kotarou tries to fight Musashi and really doesn't do much to phase him, the J.E.C. fights back, and both your characters fight in an RPG UI. First off, defeat the one in the middle first, then the one on the left, and then the one on the right. It'll help you in the long run.

Another set of Genji Q/A's again, 5 this time. 7 more are also included, but split between the Kokurase members, be aware of the "Switch" mention. Needed for...

Indeed I do, if I didn't, then I woudn't be making this guide in the first place. But yeah, you're best having a stable network connection to make your achievements appear fine. I know you could get them offline, but that depends if I didn't recommend that.

I was wondering if you had all the achivements for this game?

Apparently I'm missing 9 or around so.

Dunno if it was because I played all of 2 and most of episode 3 without wifi, but I'm unsure.

Thanks for the guide! Just a note for episode 1 - the "Duck and Cover" achievement is missable if you don't move Sakura out of the way correctly. On my first playthrough I thought it was enough to just stand in front of her (because that also works), but that did not activate the achievement. I went back to get it and it activated when I pushed Sakura up towards the groove in the wall, which caused the guy to walk all the way across the room!
