Swift Destruction

Beschreibung
Swift Destruction is a game made in Game Maker Studio over a 3 month period of part time development. It is a sci-fi strategy war game with a minimalist story. Using procedurally generated combat and ships, the player is given control over an armada they must manage in order to exact revenge on a hostile alien race. A skilled player will master the abilities and formations in combat to truly deliver a Swift Destruction to the enemy.

Check out this project recently posted up in the workshop, it's by another team who were in the same course, and it's very well done:

WhenI try to invade a planet I get the following error;

for object obj_PDestroyerController:

Hey CreamyBacon, Not sure if you checked it out, but we fixed up that bug you told us about (thanks again), and added a few things in, the details are in the change notes.

Thanks for the kind words! Communication to the user is something we're definitely hoping to improve on.

At first I was just placing all of my ships down wherever, but eventually I learned how to place them strategically to make the best use out of their attack formations.

Easily the best game to ever come out of the workshop.
The game and user interface within it is very deep and complex, it could use much more explanation. Like The game didn't explain that you can right click ships to move them.
This game has a professional quality, complete with space soundfx, music and graphics.
Conquering planets is too much fun.
