How to Remove Titles from Anything (Artworks, Screenshots, Guides, Workshop, etc)

This guide will show you how to remove the title from all uploadable items.

Examples

Some examples of what can be achieved:

In this example of a Workshop Showcase, The section that should display the title is gone.

In this Secondary Workshop Showcase, We can see that the hover-over title popup does not exist for the items above

In this Favorite Guide Showcase, The section that should display the title is gone.
(Same for the secondary guide showcase)

Artwork/Screenshot Showcases. Unfortunately removing the title from both may not work the way you expect it would(or hoped it would). Removing the title will instead show the description text and if theres no description text it will instead show the name of the appid that item is uploaded to.
So in this example of an artwork showcase we can see that the title shown in the showcase is the name of the artwork appid. (the title on the artwork page would be removed)
However THIS guide has a neat little trick to hide the title.

Just to clarify, this is not the same as using an invisible character to hide the title. But certain things you can achieve might look similar.

How to Do It

If you are uploading a new item (artwork, screenshot, guide, etc):

Artwork/Screenshot Upload
Leave the titlebox empty and paste the script in the console before uploading.

Already Uploaded?

So you want to remove a title from an item thats already been published:

1) Find the Published ID of your item and add it at the end of this link:

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/itemedittext/?id=

2) On that page; open the console and paste all of the code below:

function ValidateForm(){var form = document.getElementById( 'ItemEditText' );form.submit();}

(dont forget to hit enter)


3) remove the original title and click the save button.

You're Done!

(Artworks, Screenshots, guides, worskshop items and collections)
