Guide for iF|City Server

Hello, at this little guide I will tell you general info, tips and tricks how to play at iF|City Teeworlds Server!

First, connecting and logging in

If you are new at Teeworlds you have to know that in order to play on a modded server you will need to uncheck some filters. It's explained here.

After that you will be able to find iF|City servers by typing iF|City on the quick search bar.
iF|City exists only at 0.6 Teeworlds version. If you are using 0.7 client, you may also see a iF|City2 server that is a FAKE. If you want support the original iF|City server, do not connect to the FAKE one!

ATTENTION! Sometimes there are fake iF|City servers! Be careful to connect only to the original ones! The official IP addresses are:

Once you have connected you will need to register an account. To do that write /register <login> <password> after that you have created your own account. To login just write /login <login> <password>
REMEMBER! DO NOT share your login name and password to ANYONE!
Remember also to create a PIN. PIN is used to send money to other players and to change your password, it makes your account more secure. PIN must consist of 4 to 8 digits.

Experience points, levels and the most important...

...MOOONEY!

Let's start with some terminology used at iF|City:

iF|City term	Explanation
Cp	Citypoints - A number used to rank players.
Fv	Funvote - Starting a vote without a sensible reason. (That's not allowed)
Exp	Experience points - Used to increase your level.
x2	A 2 times multiplier applied to money and exp. (Type of an event)
x3	A 3 times multiplier applied to money and exp. (Type of an event)
Wlist / Whlist	Rank that gives you permanently x3 money, x3 exp and the ability to move through walls with commands.
Lvl	Level - Defines your skills and the range of players that can be engaged.
Vip	A role that gives you permanently x2 money, x2 exp and the ability to enter vip zones.
Donor / Donor'Pro	Ranks, which are a rewards for paying a donation to the server. Those roles gives you special benefits. Write " /donorhelp " and " /donorprohelp " to get more info.
Master	Rank that gives you: ability to spawn specials on yourself, use sprint, fly, gives you +50HP/Armor and Fast regeneration. Also, you can be afk for 30 minutes and you will be getting x5 money and x4 exp.
Master'Pro	Rank that gives you: all Master benefits + ability to teleport to other tees, teleport yourself where you aim to, placing portals, x10 money, x5 exp, 60 minutes of afk time and +120 HP/Armor & Fast regeneration
Dp	Shortcut of Donor'Pro
Mp	Shortcut of Master'Pro
Pet	Special bot which you can upgrade and take care of it!. (You can buy it for just 69 billions$ ;)) It protects you and kills other players and (SOON) helps earning money.
Mapper	Server's team member. Mapper is responsible for the server's map. He maintains it with other mappers/administrators.
Police	Server's team member. His job is to watch out for the server and it's players. People can get punished if they break any rule.
Mod	Server's team member (mod - moderator) . A moderator is the next, more important rank than a police. He is even more responsible for the server and usually works even further, managing other server related stuff.
Admin	Server's team member (admin - administrator) . An admin manages the whole server, has access to everything related to it and has the unlimited power.

So... The purpose of the game is to earn money and exp in order to become more powerful.

There are 4 methods to earn money & exp:

1. Sitting on chairs. Those are the chair's values:
   
   • 500$ and 500exp
     
   • 600$ and 2000exp
     
   • 700$ and 4000exp
     
   • 750$ and 5000exp
     
   • 800$ and 6000exp
     
   • 900$ and 8000exp
     
   • 950$ and 9000exp
     
   • 1000$ and 10000exp
   Remember, that money and exp are updated every second. If a chair has a money value of 1000$ then you will earn 1000$ per second when you sit on it. The same applies for experience.
   
   
   
2. Powerflag, a flag which appears at a specific point on the map (Currently flags are only available on Teetown map). Red flag is for players above level 150, while blue one is for levels which are below.
   
   • Blue flag gives you: 10000$ and 30000exp
     
   • Red flag gives you: 20000$ and 40000exp
   Keep in mind that flags are not available when less than 12 players are connected. (Bots doesn't
   count).
   
   
3. ClubHouse
   ClubHouse is a place which requires buying a ticket before entering. The prices are:

4. Survival Event
   All events are described in

   section of this guide.

   After earning some money and exp you might want to go to shop and buy some upgrades. There are two different ways to accomplish that. First one is the /shop command. Second one is the call-vote system.
   Remember that in every case you will need to be inside a shop in order to buy any upgrade!
   
   Buying an upgrade will result in one of these two situations:
   First is when you buy a static upgrade such as wlist, in this case you will just get an information like:
   You bought "Whitelist"
   
   Second is when you buy a dynamic upgrade which can be turned on and off. Here's an example:
   You bought "Minelaser"
   You can switch it with "/minelaser".
   As you can see, you will get an information on what you bought and how to activate it.

Messaging system

Normally at Teeworlds there are 2 types of chat. Global chat (by default it's "t" button) and team chat (by default it's "y" button).
Global chat is visible for everyone and team chat is visible only for people from your team (RED/BLUE). But at iF|City team chat is visible only for mentioned user and for you of course.
Tip about private messaging system directly from iF|City:

How to send private messages by teamchat:

Example: nameless tee: hi
Hint: Use TAB while the chat is open to browse playernames

(Global messages are visible for everyone like default)

Killing & dying

At iF|City you can kill and be killed only by players in the level range of +/- 100 Level.
It means if you are lvl 110, players with lvl from 10 to 210 can attack you and get damaged by you.
Remember, at iF|City there are events, I will discuss them in next section but you need to know one of them is called "survival" During this event everyone is able to attack anyone!

Events

iF|City contains 3 types of events.
x3, x2 and survival event.
I will explain you how does they work.

x3 - Event which makes money and exp x3 for random time (1-4 minutes)

This is how it looks when the event comes out:
Event: Money x3! \(°o°)\
Event duration: 4 Minutes
Check the event status with "/eventinfo"!

x2- Event which makes money and exp x2 for random time (1-4 minutes)

Survival event - generates random amount of bundle and time of an event (from 1-5 minutes)

When survival event comes out, all non-afk players are set to _Alive and stay until they suicide, leave server or someone kill them. The more players are _Dead the bundle becomes bigger. When the time goes to 0 (or when everyone will become _Dead) the survivors will get the latest bundle money value + some extra.

Games

If you are bored of killing (or being killed) you can play fun games which are about... KILLING EACH OTHER!

To see available games just type /play The structure of the command is: /play <Game_name>
Currently there are 3 games. insta, ginsta and basket.

Insta - game about killing other participants with only a rifle. Laser at this game kills at 1 shot.

ginsta - generally this same like the previous one but the only difference is that you are shooting with a grenade launcher, not a rifle.

And the last one, basket - at this game kills aren't important, so they were disabled. The purpose of this game is to score a point by shooting a grenade into a basketball hoop. The game is everyone at everyone but you can set your own rules to make teams ^^

Master, Master'Pro, Donor and Donor'Pro

Master and Master'Pro are new ranks that gives you even more benefits than wlist or vip!

Master rank gives you:

• /give - with it, you can spawn specials on yourself
  
• /sprint - when enabled, makes you run way faster than before
  
• /fly - allows you to just fly instead of hooking to climb somewhere
  
• x5 money and x4 exp multipliers!
  
• AFK Time 30 minutes (for regular players it's 15 minutes)
  
• Additional 50HP/Armor and Fast Regeneration

Master'Pro rank gives you:

• All Master's benefits
  
• /tp - you can teleport to any player you desire!!
  
• /tele - you can teleport where you aim to
  
• /portal - you can place portals which teleports you and other players!
  
• x10 money and x5 exp multipliers!!
  
• AFK Time 1 hour (for regular players it's 15 minutes)
  
• Additional 120HP/Armor and Fast Regeneration

Donor and Donor'Pro are the ranks which means player donated real money to the server. Those are benefits of these ranks:

Here are some answers to frequently asked questions.

What is iF|City?

iF|City is a very social mod with a progression system. The main things you'll do on our servers will be earning money to buy new things in the shop and having fun with other players on our unique maps. To always keep you entertained we have special events, mini games such as basketball or football, instagib, grenade instagib and much more!

Who works on what in this project?

FFanta and Ice*CreamXx work on the mod. Krisko sometimes assists them with certain code-related stuff.

Why should I donate?

I want my own server! Where can I download your mod?

Sorry, but iF|City is private. You can't download the mod.

I found a bug! What to do now?

Please report bugs to moderators in-game or contact massimo-121 via Skype or send an e-mail to [e-mail] .

A certain player is abusive and/or insulting. What can I do?

The first best thing would be to report the player and their behavior to a police or moderator using the private message system. They will then take proper action.

I made a very awesome map! Would you host it on the servers?

Why can't I see everyone who is online in the scoreboard?

Due to limits of the Teeworlds client you can only see 15 other players in the scoreboard. Our server supports up to 64 players simultaneously and will only send information about 15 other players to your client. If you come close to a player who is currently not in your scoreboard, the server will make your client remove one other player from the scoreboard and replace it with the new one. That way your client does not crash due to an information overflow.

When do you release new updates?

We don't release updates that often, but if something is in the works you'll get new information in-game or at our discord server.

Recommended Client to play at iF|City

I recommend you to use K-Client[k-client.rafabrony.com].
K-Client[k-client.rafabrony.com] brings many awesome things to your Teeworlds experience. It's not just like every other client!
Besides many awesome tweaks and features like 64 player support and copypaste hotkeys, it has added many options for you to personalize the client in almost every possible way.
It's even possible to connect to multiple servers at once and even added a global chat!
But there's much more to discover! Try it out and see for yourself, you'll love it!

PS.: This client has cheating bots like aimbot, spinbot etc which is not allowed at iF|City, in K-Client folder you can find special .exe file without these bots.
