100% Gallery Completion Guide

This guide will show you how to obtain all of the artwork, music, and movies for gallery mode in The King of Fighters XIV.

Items

All of the “items” in the gallery (special illustrations, posters, etc.) are unlocked through clearing matches in story mode or by winning matches online. For each match you complete you will receive one of the items at random. If you clear arcade mode with all of the teams you should have a majority of them, so just keep doing arcade matches and you’ll get the items in no time.

Movies

There are 28 movies in KoF XIV for you to unlock. If you clear arcade mode with every team, you will unlock all of the movies. Here is how to unlock each specific movie:

• 5 of the movies (Intro, Prologue, In Progress, Antonov Appears, and Verse defeated) are unlocked by clearing arcade mode once with any team.
  
• 16 of the movies are unlocked by clearing arcade mode with each of the teams.
  
• 2 of the movies are unlocked by clearing arcade mode with Antonov and Verse. To get their endings, you need to make each of them the first character you select on the CSS and clear arcade mode. You can only get Antonov and Verse’s endings one at a time. For example if the first character is Antonov and the other two are Verse and Sylvie, you’ll get Antonov’s ending.
  
• The other 5 movies are different variants of Verse appearing after beating Antonov. Here are the teams that have their own versions:
  
  • Japan team (Kyo’s team)
    
  • Another World team (Nakoruru’s team)
    
  • China team (Shun’ei’s team)
    
  • Official Invitation team (Sylvie’s team)
    
  • Any of the other teams not already mentioned.

Sounds

The sounds are split up into 2 sections: voices and music:

Voices

The voice lines for each character are obtained by using each character in either arcade or versus. You can't just have the person on your team: you have to actually control them to unlock their voice clips. The DLC characters should already have their voices available even if you don't have them, though either way it shouldn't affect any achievements.

Music

There are 26 music themes to unlock:

• 16 of the music themes are for obtained by playing on each of the team’s stages.
  
• 1 music theme is for the giant KoF arena stage. You’ll have to play on this stage in VS mode, because Antonov’s theme plays instead when you fight him in arcade mode.
  
• 1 music theme is for the destroyed arena which you will hear in arcade mode.
  
• 1 music theme is Antonov’s theme, which again is heard in arcade mode.

The other 7 themes are heard by having certain characters fight each other. This can be done in either arcade or versus. Here are the secret themes and the characters needed for them:

• Kyo vs Iori: New Order -KOF XIV version-
  
• Terry vs Geese: Soy Sauce for Geese -KOF XIV version-
  
• Athena vs Kensou: Tachi bou ke (with lyrics)
  
• Ryo vs King: Micha iya -KOF XIV version-
  
• Kim vs Chang (or Choi): Seoul Road -KOF XIV version-
  
• Ralf vs Clark: Ikari -KOF XIV version-
  
• Kula vs Angel: Ice Palace -KOF XIV version-

Bonus Music

There are a few extra hidden tracks which can be heard ever since the 4 DLC characters were added. They shouldn't effect the achievement you need since you need the DLC characters for a few of them. Here are the hidden tracks.

• Rock's Theme (Emergence): Fight Rock as the first opponent on the training stage, City Circuit, or Transcontinental Railrod.
  
• Yamazaki's Theme (C62 -KOF XIV ver.-): Fight Yamazaki as the first opponent on any of the stages mentioned above.
  
• Vanessa's Theme (Secret Circumstances -KOF XIV ver.-): Fight Vanessa as the first opponent on any of the stages mentioned above.
  
• Whip's Theme (W.W.III -KOF XIV ver.-): Fight Whip as the first opponent on any of the stages mentioned above.
  
• Kuri Kinton Flavor: Fight on the Transcontinental Railroad (train stage) as Terry.
  
• A Kiss for Geese, Cyber Edit (-KOF XIV ver.-): Have Ryo fight Geese.
  
• Pasta (-KOF XIV ver.-): Have Andy fight Tung Fu Rue.
  
• London March (-KOF XIV ver.-): Have Billy fight Hein.

Artwork

There are 10 secret artworks present in the game. These artworks are obtained by clearing arcade mode with a specific team. Here are the teams needed for each artwork (order doesn't matter):

• Tung’s Disciples Team: Shun’ei, Geese, and Terry
  
• NESTS Girls: Sylvie, Kula, and Angel
  
• Lucky Sevens Team: Love Heart, Mui Mui, and Alice
  
• Ninja Team: Mai, Andy, and Bandieras
  
• Masters Team: Tung Fu Rue, Chin, and Gang-Il
  
• Tiger Team: Joe, Robert, and Ramon
  
• Dragon Team: Ryo, Kensou, and Mui Mui
  
• Mysterious Newcomers Team: Luong, Hein, and Kukri
  
• Bird Team: Zarina, Nakoruru, and King of Dinosaurs
  
• Long Hair Girls Team: Athena, Nakoruru, and Kula

You can't get Antonov's ending when both Him and Verse are on the same team..
I've tryied it twice and got Verse's ending both times even though i chose Antonov first.
Only when i didn't add Verse to the team i got Antonov's ending.
And you don't have to choose them first.
