So you wanna set the world on fire...
Welcome to the Pyro build! With lots and lots of +damage talents that the Flamethrower double dips in, you have one scary of a weapon that is one of the very few weapons that can CC (Crowd Control) in this game. All on something with 600 ammo capacity!
The Flamethrower

The reason your doing this build. The Flamethrower is a great weapon with lots of unique properties. However its a bit tricky to use correctly at first as it acts so much differently than all the other weapons.

Pros

1. Piercing damage, Fire pierces infintely. This includes shields, which are never a problem for you.
2. Sets enemies on fire. This deals considerable damage and stops enemies from shooting or using their abilities while they are on fire, sometimes even forcing the enemy to panic while they burn to death. Dozers and Winters ignore this effect.
3. Large ammo capacity. 300 ammo per tank is quite a lot and lasts you a very long time.
4. Very ammo efficent since you fire in small bursts with somehting with a very large ammo capacity.
5. Fairly good for getting Jokers, as any cop that doesn't die to fire will be critically injured for joker.

Cons

1. Medium range (shotgun range), your not sniping people with this thing.
2. Not the best weapon for killing Dozers, but sometimes you can set them on fire.
3. Only one person per team can use the Flamethrower as the DoT doens't stack.

You might wonder why I didn't include the Flamethrower's low damage, and thats becuse of how it works. It might have a base 14 damage, but that goes up to 80+ after all your talents, which DOES carry over to the 'on fire' damage over time effect.

How to use

Now how to use the flamethrower is pretty straightforward but still a bit different than the other weapons. You fire in short bursts at an enemy or crowd of enemies, and let the fire DoT do its work. Often you can kill everything but a special with one spirtz of fire, and easily kill everything but a dozer or maybe a medic/taser with a bit of crit fire.
Of course during Swan Song, you can just hold down M1 and spray fire everywhere. While most of your damage is from the fire DoT, the fire itself can do a good chunk of damage too due to the flamethrower's high fire rate.
The Build

Flamethrower is obvious, thats what this build is about. Note that it does have the +1 conealment mod. This gives you 9% crit with this build, which is outstanding. You can choose between the Medium or Well Done mods, depending if you feel +3 damage is worth -150 ammo. both are great choices. Rare mod should do well too if you need more ammo, but don't expect to kill some of the standard cops in one small burst of fire.

Broncco is there for a good gun that can give you 33 concealment. You need all that conealment to get your detection low enough to get your crit talent going.

Suit is the same, helps with detection. No point in using anything else when Anarchist gives you 200 armor by itself.

Anarchist deck, which makes this build work on the survival side of things. 2 secs of immunity every 15 secs on armor break is amazing for this difficulty, and it gives you 200 armor, letting you actually sort of handle getting shot a few times in your suit. Of course your total health is super low, but then that doesn't really matter too much since being shot without armor = death in most cases.

Javalin for dealing with Dozers, swap this out to whatever you like.

Joker talents. EVERY loud build in OD should have these talents. Those bullet sponges are invaluable.

The big talent here being Underdog for 15% more damage. The other talents are used for giving your team Ammo, but they could be replaced with Doctor Bags if your team needs them instead.

This is where a lot of the flamethrower power comes from. Since they already pierce, you can get the reload talent instead to offset the Flamethrower's long reload if you ever find yourself needing to reload. And due to the high fire rate/DoT of the flamethrower, you'll find a little sprits of fire will stagger enemies quite often. And finally Flamethrowers can't headshot, but still do have a headshot multiplier of 2x. So Body Expertise lets you reclaim 90% of that lost headshot multipler on all your damage. And since this comes after everything else, it effectively increases your damage by 90% after all other modifers have been added.

This lets you get access to Crits, which super buffs all your damage as well. And your DoT can crit as well.

Finally Frenzy + Anarchist for a huge part of most of the tank builds. Yes you have 200 less armor than someone in ICTV with anarchist (And more armor than them if they DON'T have Anarchist), but you'll find that Anarchist lets you eat those stray shots fairly well and that 2 seconds of immunity to damage on armor break is amazing. And with Berserker active, thats an additional 80% flamethrower damage. And of course the standard +1 down and Swan Song which is standard for any OD build and all really good.

I think im missing something here cause I have 43 detection which would mean no crits (Modded bronco for concealment)

You get 27% crit-chance, not 9%. Other than that looks like a decent build, though I'm not sure about it being One Down viable. Will definitely try it though
