How does deployable works?

Deployables are tools that you can bring with you, they can help you in various different way. A good deployable can help you and your teamates a lot.

Loud and Stealth deployable

There are 9 different deployables in payday 2, there are designed for different purpose, we can first classify it for 2 situation: Loud and Stealth.

How can we upgrade our deployables?

By having the right skills, the related deployable will be upgraded.

Bringing 2 deployables!

By having the skills: Jack of all trade Aced, we will be able to bring 2 types of deployables.
However, number of the second deployable we bring will be halfed.
For example:
A maxed first-aid kit have 14 kits, if you set it to secondary deployable, it becomes 7 kits only.
A maxed ammo bag have 2 bags, if you set it to secondary deployable, it becomes 1 bag only.
However, if your deployable only have one bag (e.g. ammo bag, body bag, doctor bag)
Setting them to secondary will not affect the number of it.
Each type of deployable can only be either primary or secondary.
You can set your deployable piority on the bottom right corner.

Ammo bag

From the name of it we can tell it will replenish our ammo
We can use ammo bag to replenish ammo for every type of weapon
How can we bring the best ammo bag and what its function?
Allows you to bring 2 large-size ammo bag
Anyone who use your ammo bag will have infinite ammo for a short period of time

Armor bag

Armor bag allows you to change your armor during heist, before you use the armor bag, you will remain in 2-piece suit.
How to unlock it?
You have to complete the 6th card of any perk deck to unlock it.
How to use?
1. Put on the armor you want to wear
2. Equip armor bag as you primary / secondary deployable
3. Use your armor bag during heist
Below you can see your detection risk before you use the armor bag

Body bag case

In a body bag case, there are in total 3 body bags. Using body bags allows you to move the position of corpses during stealth
How can we bring the best body bag case and what its function?
Allows you to bring 2 body bag cases

Doctor bag

Doctor bag will replenish your hp, and reset your down times
How can we bring the best doctor bag and what its function?
Allows you to bring 2 doctor bag
Each doctor bag have 4 uses
Anyone who use your doctor bag will take 10% less damage for 2 minutes

Ecm jammer

Ecm jammer have 2 modes, jamming mode and feedback mode.
Jamming mode will starts whenever you deploy a ecm jammer, it lasts for 30 sec.
Feedback mode will start when you interact with the deployed ecm jammer
Feedback mode will be recharged but jamming mode wont
Ecm jammer is a useful tools, it serve differente purposes:

• Open atm
  
• Open some types of door (with skills)
  
• Disable camera (during jamming mode)
  
• Disable the ability of civilians to call the cops (during jamming mode)
  
• Delay pagers (during jamming mode) (with skills)
  
• Stun enemy and alert everyone during stealth (during feedback mode)
  
• Hack swat van turret (during jamming mode)

How can we bring the best Ecm jammer and what its function?
30 sec of jamming and feedback mode
Allows you to bring 2 ecm jammers
Allows your ecm jammer to open the electronic doors
Allows your ecm jammer to delay pagers
Do not turn on ecm feedback during stealth, otherwise:

First-aid-kit

First-aid-kit will replenish your hp
How can we bring the best first-aid-kit and what its function?
Allows you to bring 14 first-aid-kit
Anyone dies wthin the radius of 5 meter or your first-aid-kit, they will heal back to full health and the kit will be consumed (20 sec cool down) (does not count as downed)
Anyone who use your first-aid-kit will take 10% less damage for 2 minutes

Sentry guns

Sentry guns have 2 variation, normal version and suppressed version. They both work the same way, but suppressed version makes them take less agro from the cops in which you wont break that fast. Deploying sentry gun will use some of your ammo (both primary and secondary), you can also retrieve the remaining ammo left in the sentry
Firing mode
Sentry gun have 2 shooting mode: normal mode(default) and AP mode(skills required)
Normal mode have rapid fire but it would not penetrade shields
AP mode shoots slower but have more damage and will penetrade enemy and shields
You can toggle the by interact with them
AP mode (outline in green color)
Normal mode (outline in blue color)
Left: normal sentry
Right: suppressed sentry
Repairing you sentry
Sentry gun are not invicible, they also have a health pool
After being attack constantly by the cops, your sentry will be damaged, if you do not repair it, they will be broken (blue electrical effect around it)
By simply collect back you sentry and deploy again, your sentry will be repaired
**once your sentry are broken, you can no longer repair it.
How can we bring the best sentry gun and what its function?
You can bring 4 sentry guns
You can use suppressed sentry
Your sentry have better accuracy, shield, health, rotational speed and ammo
Your sentry consume less ammo to deploy
Make sure your sentry is fully upgraded, non-upgraded sentry gun is very weak!

Trip mines and shaped charges

With this deployables, you actually have 2 tools

• Trip mines (c-4)
  
• Shaped charges (which also called c-4)

Trip mines

It can be deployed on any surface
It has 2 mode: sensor mode (blue laser) and explosive mode (red laser)
You can toggle them by interaction
Sensor mode
It is designed for stealth, when a guard walk past the laser, two "beep" sound will be made and the guard will be marked for a period of time.
Explosive mode
It is designed for loud, when enemy walk past the laser, the mine will explode and deal damage. (quite high damage)

Shaped charges

It can only be used when you see the c-4 icon
It can be use to:

• Open doors
  
• Open safes

First-aid-kit vs Doctor bag

What is the major difference between those two?
Doctor bag can recharge downed time and heal but first-aid-kit only heal
What is downed times?
Number of downed time directly related to player going into custody

For normal to death wish difficulty

By using doctor bag or being release from custody, your downed time will be reset to 0.
So, which is better, doctor bag or first-aid-kit?
It depends on your play style, maxed first-aid-kit have 14 uses and maxed doctor bag have 8 uses.
Doctor bag cannot be moved once deployed
