Nah man, i've gave them enough money and i've played as much of the original game to warrant playing it for free, if they are just going to change the game in ways that I don't feel comfortable with.

Surely, you consider it ethical to not support scummy business practices that you don't agree with? This is a big reason why Pirating is a thing.

Just play osrs, its jagex and they will always have microtrans anyways, nothing wrong with saying ''ahhh... it was better back then.'' but its jagex, and they are greedy. Just like alot of other companies are these days.. people need to look at the bright side of it, osrs is back.. PLAY IT!!

Ah, I see. That is a good idea for those who want to keep going with their original character from RS2.

Still, in my opinion, you would have to sit through the weird art-style, awkward voice-acting for quests, ruined economy where paper hats are in the billions or even trillions and many new features that cause you to be lazy with skills. Runecrafting for example.

It's a mode in RS3 that allows you to play with the combat system prior to EOC

I just looked it up and I thought Crunchy (the skeleton) was Low Detail and Tim was for High Detail, but it's the other way round.

No Jack, I have not tried out Legacy Mode. Is that for RS3 or OSRS?

Yeah, I didn't get it either, but I was told that the game "runs better" if you played Low Detail, so I always did that. I am sure the difference was literally mbs.

Have you tried Legacy mode?

I have both a RSC AND OSRS account and just can't get back into it.

When you change something I have enjoyed for years, don't be surprised when I don't wanna start again for the millionth time.

It's not bad now, and you can always play oldchool or classic. They even just added an optional texture pack for it.
