Prerequisites
Do not attempt to try using this guide in solo queue public games, it's not going to work. You need to have a static group of friends in a party chat in order to utilize this guide efficiently.

1. Install Discord and use it outside of the in game chat. [Nullifies the need for walkie-talkies]
2. Have at least 4 competent friends on your friends list that know how to play the game.
3. Invite said friends to a lobby party and click "quick join"
The Players This Evening Are:
There's a very finite setup involved in making killing Jason super easy. The first of which is character choice.

Depending on how many players are in your group you're going to want a ratio of 1 Tiffany Cox to every 2 Brandon "Bugsy" Wilson players.

You basically need at least 4 people to make this work, 5 is even better, 7 might just be over kill and I feel sorry for whoever is going to play Jason against your entire team.

Black Power Mothafúcka

Brandon's strengths lie in his ability to easily unmask Jason with his powerful weapon swings in combat mode. He's tied with Tommy Jarvis for Strength which means he's basically a budget version of him for power. Even though Brandon is not as stealthy and fearless as Tommy, he still packs a punch and that's all that matters.

Brandon can make quick work of looting the entire camp ground and covering great distances quickly. Brandon's Stamina and Speed are only rivaled by the much weaker Vanessa or the max stat Tommy Jarvis... but the differences between both those counselors are negligible to a player that can manage his / her stamina and speed in a chase.

Brandon is a huge time sink for Jason to chase around, especially in the early / mid game when Jason doesn't have all of his skills available... making it easy to avoid being killed early on.

If you're going to kill Jason you have to make sure you do it within the first 10 minutes of the game so he doesn't have access to rage mode and faster cooldowns which only makes it more difficult to manage combat against him.

Brandon's weaknesses lie in being scared easily and making a hell of a lot of noise even when light jogging around. However in the case of wanting to confront Jason, this makes your job that much easier as Jason is going to come to you. Once you're geared up and ready to fight, you won't have to look far to find Jason.

The Other, Other White Meat

Most of you are probably wondering, why Tiffany? She's completely useless, A.J. is better... Well not entirely. A.J. Mason is a beast at staying concelled for the entire duration of a match and she's a wiz at skill checks. The thing is we won't be needing her services for this type of goal because we're here to kill Jason, not mess around and stay stealthy and chill. A.J. is also exponentially slower than Tiffany and gets winded too easily meaning playing as A.J. could compromise the entire match.

We also want to get Jason's attention at some point but not right away. Tiffany is a beast for stealth, stamina and she has a bit more speed than A.J., which is super important because Bugsy is crazy fast so we need a female counter part for speed who's not going to alert Jason immediately like Vanessa.

We need someone just stealthy enough to cover ground quickly and retrieve Jason's mothers sweater which is a key and necessary component in killing Jason. Tiffany can easily find and retreive the sweater in the first two minutes of the match, which is when Jason is at his weakest and he'll be none the wiser because he'll be all over the Brandon sonar pings.

Tiffany can also act as a kite in the mid game because after retrieving the sweater and staying alone for long periods of time, she's going to glow like a Christmas Tree to Jason, which could serve useful to the Brandon's trying to gear up.

It also doesn't hurt that Tiffany's weapons last longer than A.J. Mason's. Tiffany has higher luck than A.J. which factors in to weapon durability. A good Tiffany or your alternate Tiffany (if your group is big enough to accomodate an extra one) can get in on the face smashing fun with a bat or wrench just to help incapacitated Brandons.

That's my reasoning for choosing Tiffany over A.J.... I'm not saying A.J. is the wrong choice, Tiffany is just a more logical one in the long game. If you prefer to play as A.J. then go for it but don't say I didn't warn you when Jason starts tunneling you and you wind up on the other end of a deli counter... At least Tiffany can be used as a kite to re-position and lure Jason in to Axe / Machete swings of Brandons.
Best In Slot Perks: Brandon
If you expect to run train on Jason, you're going to need a specific set of perks to maximize your efficiency as these two characters.

You'll want to play to the characters strengths and none of their weaknesses in order to make them souped up versions of themselves and dominate the playing field that is Camp Crystal Lake.

Brandon

Medic

Get two uses from each Medical Spray. Also increases healing when using a Medical Spray.

Positive: Healing Increased

Negative: More Damage Taken

Medic is going to help you tank hits from Jason and help maximize the efficency of your items. For every 1 Med Spray you find, it's the equivalent of carrying 2. This helps you maximize inventory space and decide whether you need to leave a Med Spray behind to take the all powerful Pocket Knife instead. Additionally you'll want the Epic level of this perk especially because any thing less could counter balance the next perk I'm about to mention.

Thick Skinned

Take less damage from all incoming attacks.

Positive: Attack Damage Resistance Increased

Negative: Stumble Chance Penalty

Thick Skinned is a counselors wet dream, no matter which character you're playing. It's most likely the best perk in the game as it decreases the amount of ALL incoming damage. This means, traps, broken windows, fall damage and Jason's melee attacks. It's especially useful for mitigating Part 3 Jason's powerful axe swings that deal around 30% more damage than the other Jasons. You can take about 8 Axe swings from Part 3 Jason if you have the Epic level of this perk. MUST HAVE for going toe to toe with Jason.

The third perk for Brandon is a bit of a toss up, depending on your play style / luck you can choose any of the following. I prefer to not have to worry about maps so I use:

Preparedness

Start with the large map. also provides some resistance to fear effects.

Positive: Fear Resistance Bonus

Negative: Sprint Speed Decreased

There's nothing worse than not having intel in a match where time is of the essence. You don't want to have to keep explaining where you are to other counselors. With preparedness you know all the information you need right from the very first second of game play. You won't have to waste time talking when you can just use your own eyes and maximize your ability to effectively coordinate your movements.

Other honorable mention perks that can be swapped out in the last slot:

Man At Arms

Increases weapon durability for all weapons, allowing you to attack more before a weapon will break.

Positive: Weapon Durability

Negative: Melee Stun Chance

If you feel Brandon isn't getting enough bang for his buck with weapons, take this along with you, although I don't see the point considering two Axe swings aimed at Jason's face basically removes his mask and you'll get about 4 of them out of Brandon.

Swift Attacker

Increase your Melee Attack speed with all weapons.

Positive: Attack Speed Increased

Negative: Attack Damage Decreased

Sometimes ping can be a frustrating thing in this game and Jason's hit box is a bit of a mess as of the time of me typing this guide, in the future this might change but if you find yourself whiffing a lot and getting frustrated with recovery times, take this perk with you... The negated attack damage will be negligible to Brandon considering there's more than one of you in the group.

Thrasher

Increases melee attack damage while using an Axe.

Positive: Axe Attack Damage Increased

Negative: Melee Stun Chance Decreased

Arguably the best alternative to Preparedness. If you want to minimize how many swings you have to take at Jason's face, this will help out a lot. The only problem is, you need to have an Axe and Axes are a rare commoditiy on most maps which is a huge disadvantage to this perk.

There's always an Axe in Jason's shack so if Tiffany can deliver it to you during the fight it'll be worth taking this perk. I definitely wouldn't recommend every Brandon player use this perk in the same game. I also wouldn't recommend wearing the Axe out completely because you may need to give it to Tommy.
Best In Slot Perks: Tiffany
Aside from the above mentioned perks (which you can use on Tiffany as well) Especially if you're running 2 Tiffany's in the same group. You can use some alternative perks to help a single Tiffany cover ground faster, if they are unlucky with discovering Jason's shack in the first location they check.

By all means, use the exact same perks as Brandon if you feel they'll benefit your team / play style. However, if you feel like switching it up a bit and are used to how the maps are layed out, feel free to swap out Preparedness for one of the following:

Marathon

Increases your total Stamina, allowing you to sprint for longer durations.

Positive: Overall Stamina

Negative: Sprint Speed

This isn't super important to Tiffany but if you find your single Tiffany having bad luck and having to cover tons of ground checking the second location of Jason's shack every round, it's best to take something that helps mitigate Tiffany's stamina loss... She loses a bit of speed but it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Restful

Stamina recharge rate increased, allowing stamina to be recharged quicker while standing still or crouching.

Positive: Stamina Recharge Rate

Negative: Sprint Speed

Again, these above two perks are basically interchangable, it all depends on your play style and how well you conserve stamina. Take your pick, or just stick with starting with a map.
Character Role: Brandon
Black Panthers Divide and Conquer [Pre-Combat Preparation]

Immediately turn on your flash light and leave it on the entire duration of the match to reduce and stabilize fear levels.

Find the nearest cabin, barricade the front and back doors and start looting it for the following items, in order of importance:

*RADIO FOR TOMMY FIRST AND FOREMOST*
1. Axe
2. Machete [Memorize Locations if left behind]
3. Pocket Knife
4. Med-Spray [Memorize Locations if left behind]
5. Baseball Bat [Memorize Locations if left behind]
6. Wrench [Memorize Locations if left behind]
7. Fire Crackers [Fill empty slots with these if all above item options are exhausted]

The most important thing to do first is have one of the Brandon's locate the cabin with the Radio Tower to call Tommy Jarvis immediately! Do not over look this detail as it will null and void the entire objective of killing Jason. Tommy MUST be called in as he's the only character in the game that can deliver the killing blow to Jason.

Never give up an Axe for a Machete, but memorize locations of Machete's and Axes if they have to be left behind.

Use descretion when choosing whether or not to swap a Pocket Knife for a Med Spray. Communicate with your team mates and make sure you know what all the Brandon's are currently carrying. If one Brandon already has 3 Med Sprays and you find 2 Pocket Knives and 2 Med Sprays, consider leaving a Med Spray behind and swap with the Med Spray hording Brandon when you guys meet up.

Addtionally if you're out of options and have exhausted every possible cabin near you, fill any non-pocket knife / med spray slots with fire crackers to help stall Jason in a chase.

Your next step is to start communicating with your team mates and find the nearest other Brandon(s) and team up immediately.

One of you is bound to die in the first couple minutes if you don't pair or group up quickly because as stated before, Brandon makes noise like a dumptruck driving through a nitroglycerin plant. Jason will be on top of you guys like white on rice if you don't work fast and communicate to get everyone geared up.

Help each other loot the cabins and distribute items accordingly.

Every Brandon should be brandishing an Axe or a Machete, a Med Spray and a Pocket Knife. It's fine to have doubles, just make sure every Brandon has at least one of each item before you start your confrontation with Jason.

Once Tommy is called and all of your Brandon's are geared up and ready to fight Jason, run together as a pack and confront him.

Pay attention to each others stamina levels as well, if someone needs a rest, let them rest and protect them if Jason decides to teleport on top of you.

Black Panthers Unite! [Combat Guide]

Make sure the Brandon with the most gear, highest skill and best perks goes in first to fight Jason. The other Brandon's should be watching intently nearby and forming a circle around Jason. Make sure you have two Brandon's stay in his blind spots behind him.

The first Brandon should go in swinging in combat stance. If you wiff or become too damaged, disengage Jason by running away a bit (but not too far) and have the second in line Brandon come in and take his place.

Make sure to heal accordingly and continue to communicate with the other Brandon's if you're out of Med Sprays. This way someone else can heal you if Jason starts to single out a specific Brandon.

If you're grabbed, have the additional Brandons in Jason's blind spots smack him from behind, he won't be able to react quick enough to instant kill you. This is also where pocket knives come in handy because Jason's hit box can be a disaster to deal with...

Sometimes weapon swings pass right through Jason or just roll off of him like butter, if you guys miss your opportunity to save a fellow Brandon this is where his pocket knife will save him. Once a Brandon loses all pocket knives he should rotate to the back rank of smacking Jason from behind and another Brandon with a pocket knife should come in and replace him as the main tank for Jason.

The Brandon with no pocket knives becomes a support / medic of sorts instead of a main tanker. Don't be afraid to die as Brandon, two players are going to have to die in order to call in Tommy Jarvis to kill Jason. Just make sure those two players are in your group of friends so you can take control of Tommy once he arrives on the scene... There's nothing worse than going through all of this trouble to have a pub come back as Jarvis and blow the entire ordeal.

Keep on top of Jason and keep hitting him in combat stance so you deal maximum damage to his mask. If you are smacking him out of combat stance it won't deal as much damage to his mask and you'll just stun him.

Use any stun time on Jason to regain your groups composure and ready your mind for the next phase of attacking. Do any healing and switching of items or positions while Jason is stunned temporarily.

Once Jason's mask is off, someone can grab it if they want for an achievement or bonus points...

There's a common misconception that Tommy Jarvis needs to be holding Jason's mask in his inventory to be able to kill him, this is a fallacy that's been debunked by myself... YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE HOLDING JASON'S MASK TO KILL HIM.

After Jason's mask is off, you can continue to sqeeze out any damage you can out of what's remaining of your two weakest Brandon players... Smack him any way you want, just make sure to deal a bit more damage to him before you give up and let him kill one of you.

The first Brandon that dies is going to be a specatator and cheerleader for the duration of the match, so make sure it's not your best player that dies first.

The second Brandon that gives up purposefully is going to return as Tommy Jarvis and will have a new role to play in the destruction of Jason.

*See Tommy Jarvis section for additional info if you're a Brandon main*
Character Role: Tiffany
Like, Okay, What Do You Want Me To Do And Junk?

Tiffany has a much simpler role in all of this but a very important one, if not THE most important role. You should make sure a competent player is at the helm when controlling Tiffany. Someone who knows how to manage their stamina and has all the Jason shack locations memorized.

There are two Jason shack locations per map. For a helpful guide of where these shacks are located, check out Zatchel's Shack Location Guide

If you're the only Tiffany in the group, you'll have your work cut out for you and are probably going to have a harder time accomplishing the goal of retreiving Jason's mother's sweater from the shack.

Immediately turn on your flash light and head to one of the two shack locations, preferably the closest location relative to where you spawned, if you spawned somewhere in the middle, flip a coin but don't waste too much time deciding...

If you have two Tiffany's on your team, have them split up and each take an area of the map where the shack spawns. If one of them dies, at least you have a back up.

The extra Tiffany should act as a pack mule for the group of Brandons, quickly scour around for Machetes, Axes, Pocket Knives, Med Sprays, Fire Crackers, whatever you can get your hands on and meet up with the other Tiffany and hide out in a cabin to keep her safe.

You can pretty much run at a full sprint to the first shack to check if it's there but don't full sprint more than twice in a row. After you've exhausted all your stamina twice, continue to light jog.

The more you sprint the less resistance you have on Jason's sonar for noise. Tiffany has a 10 in the stealth stat just like Tommy but eventually even Tommy starts making noise when running too frequently... so mitigate the use of your sprint.

Once you find the shack enter it, get insanely frieghtended at the site of Jason's mothers severed head, quickly grab the sweater and take the Axe off of the nearby shelf in the room.

Exit the shack and start heading towards all the action, which is where all the Brandon's are congregating.

Your best bet is to hide in a nearby cabin with the Axe / Sweater and loot the cabin for any kinds of additional support items for your team like Pocket Knives, Med Sprays and even Fire Crackers.

Memorize any locations of Machete's or additional Axes or other useful stun weapons like the Baseball Bat and Wrench that you've come across as well.

Utilize key locations like the cemetary on Higgin's Haven if your team needs extra provisions as they have static items in them like a Med Spray and Axe.

The Bathrooms on the Crystal Lake Map always has two Med Sprays in it as well.

When the time is right and Jason's Mask has been knocked off and Tommy Jarvis is on the scene, it's time to make your move and join the group for the final attack against Jason.

Like Guys, This Jason Dude Is A Total Bummer

So in the unlikely event that Jason traps the living hell out of his own Shack to protect the sweater (Which I've never seen done in pub games) you'll want to inform the Brandon's about this and have them tank the damage for you.

Brandon's have the Med Sprays, the Pocket Knives and the defense to withstand the onslaught of Jason's traps. The most you'll have to work through is 2, maybe 3 if they're strategically placed so just get separate Brandon's to tank the damage from the trap and heal them immediately with one of your dozen Med Sprays.

However if Tiffany is feeling brave or she's found a Med Spray somewhere and want's to chance tanking the damage herself, then go for it... Just be warned that smart Jasons are going to teleport back to the shack once they hear their traps triggering and will most likely kill you if you make a wrong move.

I wouldn't recommend Tiffany doing anything dangerous if she's the only girl counselor in your group you can depend on... Instead just have her hide nearby and flag down all the Brandon's to come help her enter the shack and retrieve the sweater.

If the final show down has to occur in front of the Shack, then so be it... It's best to fight Jason outside any way as there will be no interference with furnature and other objects.

Character Role: Tommy Jarvis
Come On Maggot Head

After Tommy is called on the radio he will never show up unless two players are out of commision.

You have a couple of options here. You can eIther allow two of your team mates to die by Jason's hand or allow them to escape with other counselors who've been working on objectives...

However, dying is such sweet sorrow... so just let Jason put a choke hold on two of your team mates and call it a day.

Once the two counselors are out of commision (most likely the Brandon players) the second counselor to die will return as Tommy Jarvis at an undisclosed random location on the map equipped with a shotgun.

Your goal now is to quickly rush to scene where the remaining counselors are fighting Jason and shoot him in the bare face with your newly acquired S-mart single barreled remington, built in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The gun retails at about $109.95, it has a walnut stock, cobalt blue steel and a hair trigger.

The shooting him in the face part is optional but it will help reduce his stun resistance and make it easier for you to land the killing blow.

After you shoot him, or waste your shot, whichever comes first, you'll need to grab an Axe or a Machete off of one of the remaining counselors.

If Tiffany grabbed the Axe out of Jason's Shack, it's probably best she rushes out of her hiding spot and drops it before using the sweater.

Once Jason is stunned, decide who's landing the next hit on Jason, it can be you, it can be anyone, just make sure someone hits him during the sweater stun animation and only hits him ONCE.

After Jason is on his knees press the interact button to finish him off with the Axe or Machete.

Your role is fullfilled and Jason is dead.

Putting It All Together
So with all the above information at your disposal the next part should be the easiest to remember... How to actually kill Jason. There are other guides on how to do this but I'll clear this entire thing up once and for all.

I've killed Jason around 10 times now and have tested a bunch of combinations extensively so here is the collective guide of information on how to properly kill Jason:

It's All Been A Pack Of Lies!

1. You DO NOT need Tommy Jarvis to pick up Jason's Mask to trigger the execution prompt.
2. The girl wearing the sweater DOES NOT have to be the one to hit Jason in order to trigger the knee drop animation.
3. Tommy Jarvis can do both the Knee drop animation AND the killing blow by himself if he chooses to do so.

With that being said, here's the definitive step by step process of killing Jason, in detail.

Cowabunga Correction!

1. Tommy Jarvis has to be called in.

2. A female counselor needs to retreive the sweater from Jason's shack.

3. Someone needs to knock Jasons mask off in order to weaken him so you can kill him.

4. Two counselors need to die or escape, the second counselor that dies or escapes will be brought back as Tommy Jarvis.

[Optional] Picking up the Mask is OPTIONAL, it isn't a requirement to kill Jason, it's for extra bonus points and an achievement / badge.

[Optional] Additional damage done to Jason while his mask is off is OPTIONAL but it helps a lot. When you stun Jason or knock Jason down when his mask is off it will extend his stun duration and reduce his ability to resist the stuns. The more you knock Jason down the longer it will take him to recover, if he isn't weak enough when the Sweater animation triggers, he can easily break out of it.

5. The female counselor needs to use the sweater in close proximity to Jason by pressing the [Ability Button] which translates to 'Q' on the keyboard or the 'Y' button on your Xbox 360 / Xbone controller, if you're using a Playstation controller, it's the 'Triangle' Button.

6. Once Jason's stun animation triggers after using the sweater ANYONE can smack him with a stun weapon to trigger Jason to fall to his knees. In my opinion you should smack him with an Axe or a Baseball Bat as those are really powerful stun weapons and tend to stun him 100% of the time. If you happen to use a one handed melee weapon, like the machete, I can not guarantee you're actually going to get him to drop to his knees. People have been claiming the machete doesn't work against him when trying to drop him after the sweater stun but I haven't had time to test this. I always make sure to hit him with the Axe, so hit him with that or you may risk messing up the entire sequence. Make sure to smack him quickly before he recovers from the stun. It's best if someone other than the sweater girl hits him because the sweater has about a 5 second animation before you can move again and during that time, Jason can break free from the sweaters hold.

7. After Jason falls to his knees Tommy Jarvis needs to be facing Jason with either an Axe or a Machete equipped... NO OTHER WEAPON WORKS! Only a bladed weapon will kill Jason, not a Shotgun or Flare Gun, not a Wrench or Firepoker... so don't even attempt it.

The [Interact Button], which translates to either 'E' on the keyboard, 'A' on the Xbox 360 / Xbone controller or the 'X' button on the Playstation controller; must be pressed in order to trigger the games final cutscene and end the match in a victory for the remaining counselors.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SWING A WEAPON AT JASON WHILE HE'S ON HIS KNEES! This will mess up the entire sequence, it must be done by hitting the context sensitive button prompt... It's the same button you press when opening a door or window or picking up an object.

Once the final cutscene triggers, that's it, you've done it! You've killed Jason like a champ.

Best guide out there.
