Defensive Attrition - Counter Attack
By Ghost993514
A basic defensive strategy similar to the other one by Niccals.

This one focuses more on infantry all together, rather than infantry followed by vehicles after.

Basic idea: You run down enemy reinforcements and then push to their outpost when they don't have much left.

Keep an eye on what units they have available, so you know what they have in store. Don't mistake support cards for actual cards and vice versa.

Defense
Ok, so this is the most important part of the stategy.
Deck Image:

So, you start the game with Infantry, particularly Riflemen, and you push them torwards the center, right before the 'no mans land' part of the map.
That part of the map is where there is either no cover or only light cover.

You then push up a Machine Gunner, to supplement the Rifle team.
This will allow you to counter enemy MGs and provide more firepower in general.

Behind them, on the next available cover, you deploy AT. The enemy vehicles should drive close enough to get within range of your AT unit, I used to not realize this and end up sending my AT out and them dieing.

You maintain this defense until the enemy has run out of troops, or at least most of them.
Counter Attack with follow through.
Support unit cards will be convienent, so that you can deploy at max strength.

Ok, so depending on what the enemy has left, you may or may not want to move up your defense force.

Regardless, you deploy an LAV/mid vehicle, with any support unit cards available. Deploying Assaults are good for new players like myself, but having better cards is obviously ideal. If you have an LAV support card, that would be better, since you can deploy it in front or behind a tank.

Follow your first vehicle with repeated riflemen, perhaps MGs and AT at your discretion, depending on what the enemy may still have at their disposal and available cover.

Follow through
Bombard the outpost and keep the pressure on; if you need quick reinforcements, push your defense force.
Counter attack followed by defense (Damage, Retreat, Outlast)
Support unit cards will be convienent, so that you can deploy at max strength.

Ok, so depending on what the enemy has left, you may or may not want to move up your defense force to a forward position. Be sure to create a fall back position where your original force was.

In this variation, using an Assault unit could work due to their speed and the fact that the unit is sacrifiicial, since they can't fall back.

When you get close enough, bombard their outpost with ANYTHING, just make sure you do some damage on their outpost.

Now, you just need to defend until the timer runs out.

This variation of the strategy is useful when the enemy is overall more powerful than you, although it might be a bit cheap.

Deploy vehicles as counters, LAVs for infantry, Tanks for vehicles, etc.

I meant that if you have an assault card, they are a good unit to sprint up and allow you to nab some quick damage on the enemy base, if it's still even, to prevent a stalemate. However, basically any unit you send to attack is sacrificial, but the way my deck layout is it doesn't have assaults.

idk the assault squads aren't really "sacrifiicial" in my opinion, there good together with any vehichle or units with long range, but overall a good strategy if youre at a disadvantage due to players with beeter troops =D (ps battle me pls i'm nab to m8)

I normally push Machine gunners in the middle so they can defend then i grab two attack squads and wait to distract till i can get a tank
