Space Crüesader takes the classic bedlam of dual-stick Robotron-style shooting action into space and adds nail-biting, scream-at-the-screen twists to challenge you. Fight your way through six increasingly hectic levels, each with custom music and new enemies, then brace yourself for the 7th circle of bullet hell on the final level as you blast your way to the alien mothership for a showdown to save Earth.

Full Steamworks Integration
If accepted onto Steam, Space Crüesader will feature full Steamworks support (achievements, leaderboards, cloud-based saves, Trading Cards, etc.) and will support full gamepad controls, or keyboard/mouse if you do not have access to a gamepad.

One Price, Two Three Platforms
Space Crüesader will launch on Windows first, with a Mac release planned to follow it at a later date. If Space Crüesader makes it onto Steam a Linux version will follow the Mac release shortly afterwards. If you purchase it once, you will be able to play it on a Mac, a Windows PC, or Linux PC, making this fully SteamPlay compatible (if Valve allows it).

  • Seven tense, fun-fueled levels with unique music and enemies.
  • One epic final boss battle that will have you on the edge of your seat. Will you heed the call and save Earth?
  • Nail-biting Co-op Survival. You'll have to keep your partner alive while trying to out-score them. Without teamwork, you will fail -- but can you resist the temptation of stealing some of your partner's score?
  • Over 40 minutes of unique music. No music is reused!
  • Over 200 professionally-recorded voice clips.
  • Over 100 unique, high-quality sound effects.
  • Twenty-one unique objective-completion badges. Show off to your friends!
  • Epilepsy-friendly! While the game does feature some flashing effects, there is a built-in option to disable them.
  • Feel like the backgrounds are a bit too busy? Do you just want a retro black background? We've got an option for that.
  • Fully-supported English subtitles for every voice clip in the game.
  • Tons of replayability! No two play sessions are exactly the same.

I had fun with it.

This game is so appealing to me because it reminds me about all the fun I had with Solaris 104. This game seems to me as a worthy successor.

I'm interested in this game primarily because it has linux support (Yay SteamOS!), it likely has full controller support and it is co-op.

Let me know if you want any testing and/or bug reporting :)
