Scar H is probably the most balanced gun. I use it silenced and cold blooded in harcore. For core I chose the Tar-21, same general gun handling with faster fire rate and a larger clip. Lets you engage targets for longer with fairly low spread. I don't really see any equipment being superior. each has a use. I prefer to take the stinger until I get a javelin since kill streaks are a pain before you have cold blooded.
