Path of the Brave (Fierce Fighter Achievement) (MISSABLE)

This achievement can be confusing if you aren't paying attention so, be sure to read carefully or you will screw up and have to start the game all over again. In order to get this achievement, you HAVE to fight 300 battles WITHOUT running away. You CAN'T run from a single battle until you get your reward from the fountain in the garden BEFORE leaving to the final area. (Not the Abyss)



Remember, both paths can't be done in one playthrough. It's one or the other, not both.

Path of the Cowardlly (Flighty Fighter Achievement) (MISSABLE)

This achievement is fairly simple compared to the Fierce Fighter achievement. For this achievement, all that you need to do is run from 300 battles. It doesn't matter when you do it but, it needs to be done BEFORE leaving to the final area. (Not the Abyss) (MISSABLE) so that you can claim your reward from the fountain in the garden.



Remember, both paths can't be done in one playthrough. It's one or the other, not both.

Bookworm (Achievement) AND Please Erase My Memories (Achievement)

Achievement:(Please Erase My Memories)
(MISSABLE) There is a hidden book at the start of Chapter 6. If Schera isn't in your party, all you need to do is find her, speak to her, and then examine the exact book that she talks about. This will give you the achievement "Please Erase My Memories".

Achievement:(Bookworm)
This achievement can be rather confusing so, I'll attempt to explain it here. When you first start the game, there won't be any books available to read. But, as you progress through the game, books will start to show up on the shelves in the garden. Both where you first show up and there are also bookshelves down the stairs next to the large tree where you get your materials to make food. Try to check back on the bookshelves after each Chapter to read the new books that show up as you progress through the game.

The Dadliest (Achievement) (Nightmare Run Only)

Defeat Cassius in Nightmare mode WITHOUT choosing to make the fight easier upon death.

Farewell, My Nightmares (Achievement) (Nightmare Run Only)

Defeat Schwarzritter in Nightmare Mode.

You Know Too Much (Achievement)

All that you need to do for this achievement is beat "Who wants to be a Mirannire" on the hardest difficulty. You can unlock the difficulty by beating every single difficulty. This game is located at Sun Door 5 and the way to open that door is located in the specific part of this guide for it.

Tempting Fate (Achievement)

For this achievement, what you need to do is fight all 4 bosses in a row in the abyss dungeon WITHOUT leaving the dungeon. If you leave at all, you will have to start all over again.

I have noticed all over the discussions (yes, I look at that stuff to help expand this guide farther) that there are some people that are really confused as to how to beat the final boss in the Abyss because they are Shining Poms and they are pretty much immune to everything. I have a tip to give you. There are certain S-Crafts that DO hit them. Point all damage towards the largest Shining Pom. Once you get rid of him, the others will eventually flee and you will win the fight. After you take out the large one, just go defensive and you will eventually win. The S-Craft that I used that was pretty effective was Richard's "Sakura Moon". It did a decent amount of damage so, I really relied on him for damaging.

so i'm stuck at 14/15 for Starry-eyed. all the doors say status complete in the notebook so i'm at a loss on what to do. if this has happened to anyone what did you do to fix it?

Was able to get Tempting Fate after leaving the dungeon. I went back to change party members in order to beat the final fiend boss(Giant Pom).

It has not changed to my knowledge. You can't leave the dungeon until you are finished.

Has the requirement for Tempting Fate changed? The description for it in the game doesn't say anything about it being required not to leave the dungeon. Also, the achievement rate (near 50%) seems a little high if that's the case.

You haven't missed it according to the guide. I actually had to look as it has been so long since I last played it. According to the guide the opportunity will arrive at the very start of Chapter 8 (The Final Chapter) before leaving for the final dungeon. One thing to remember though, the Abyss doesn't count so you can still go there before leaving. You'll know what I'm talking about when you get there.

Question about path of the brave/path of the cowardly: do you get it in chapter 6 or sometime at the end of chapter 7? I already started chapter 7 and it looks like I got dropped into another place I can't quick-travel from, so did I miss my opportunity already?
