Solution:
The one drive sync was disabled and one drive was a long time ago deleted from my Laptop. But it appeared that FOR SOME ***** reason it linked my document's folder to the One Drive folder, and saved all files there. (saving folder as well).
You need to find your 'One Drive' folder > find 'documents' > press 'properties' > press 'location' > press 'restore default' directory. And this creepy issue fixes itself.
Hi again, sorry to bother, but maybe it will help me better explain the issue and find solution.
It appears that I am not able to make a save during the game, the freshly downloaded gothic instantly crashes after F5 or saves via the menu. And when I add Community Patch 1.75.14 it then shows 'Save not possible at present'. I looked up the directory and Win. Def. everything looks okay. But still, not able to play which is pitiful.
It is possible that the game doesn't recognize directory Program Files (x68) or win 11 in general? I've even tried to run the game using intel GPU instead of Nvidia 4060..
I know few other people had same issue before on reddit and other forums, but their solutions didn't help me
I've tried reinstalling the game several times, even tried the testbranch in Steam.
I was following your guide step by step, and after installing CP 1.75 the alternative balancing is set ON by default. From other guides it should be OFF when you first open the game. Is there way to turn it OFF via configs?
