Archmage's Robes Variants

For Telvanni and Temple Priest variants from the Dragonborn DLC see this little mod


If you never liked the Archmage's Robes design or are bored with it, this mod will add some variation to it for you.

As the name and the screenshots suggest, this mod will enable the possibility to change the appearance of the Archmage's robes into one of 15 different styles which are all derived from default robes. Possible alternatives are (apart from the default Robes) black, blue, brown, green, grey, necromancer robes, red, Thalmor robes and after the first update Psijic and Greybeard. The second Update added the unhooded default robes and hooded and unhooded Mythic Dawn robes in black and red

Each style comes as a hooded variant and shares the enchantment and the properties of the default Archmage's Robes, which means you can still wear circlets with your new robe (However most of the robes have annoying clipping errors when worn with Dragon Priest masks)

Robes that have a separate hood or no hood at all have a slightly weaker enchantment to balance the extra head slot out (You with that free slot you can enchant anything you want there)

If you converted your robes to something that includes boots and/or gloves you can enchant them in any way you want. However you need to keep them in order to convert the robe again!


The style can be changed at any tanning rack with no additional crafting materials or skill/perk requirements




Nothing was modified, just some recipes added to the tanning rack and new items added. Thus it should not conflict with any other mods

Works with Vanilla Skyrim aswell as with the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLCs
