Avatar weapon chart [Outdated]

A re-up of my original guide depicting at what levels avatar weapons become available to use after the required number of relic pieces are acquired.

Overview

Avatar weapons can no longer be dismantled, only sold to Merchant NPCs

Avatar weapons are really the only weapons you need to get you by until you reach 65, which are very helpful since they help force crits against monsters within range of weapon level or below.

In order to obtain an avatar weapon, you must collect relics. Different relics drop in different places, but generally have a higher rate in dungeons. If they glow, they're yours to loot. If they do not shine, they're another players whether in dungeon or open world. As long as the required amount is collected, it does not matter if you collect extra ones after the fact.

The amount of pieces collected (if you have any at the time) will show as a side window off to the side of your inventory window.

If you meet the weapon's level requirement, it will automatically equip, but will not automatically equip any crystals, as that will have to be done manually. The relics can be collected not only at level requirement for that weapon, but also for levels within proximity of avatar weapon level. If you receive the required number of pieces need to create the weapon before reaching said level to equip, it can be crafted from the inventory and enchanted, provided you have the feedstock and alkahest to do so. Just be careful to not sell it beforehand(If that makes sense).

Depending on which type of TERA you're playing also, the level 12 avatar weapon was slightly nerfed, but not really enough to make a difference. The level 64 weapon (Bahaar's relic weapon) will generally serve as your starting endgame or idoneal weapon.
