Star Wars: KoTOR Ebon Hawk Map

Описание
Contains a board with the Ebon Hawk from my tile pack assembled and ready to use. Contains animated doors that go whoosh. ;)

Thanks for explaining! It totally get it, it sounds like a lot of work for very little return (suppression of an error that doesn't otherwise seem to be causing problems). I appreciate that probably never sounds as fun as creating something else. :) I get the same way in my stuff. But again, thanks for taking the time to explain!

It was made using another version of Unity than the current engine powering TTS. I'd need to full do it from scratch. The method I used was to export the models from KoTOR, use a conversion tool to convert them from MDL to MDL_ASCII or something, then import them to Blender using an old Neverwinter plugin. From there, you can export it to FBX if it's animated or OBJ. Tedius and took me weeks to get only a couple of things out in the megapack. The materials don't exist because it's using legacy materials as compared to the newer Unity material shaders. Basically- You'd need to just remake this mod to get it to work. Might be an interesting project so I'll consider messing around with it at some point- But I wouldn't hold my breath. It was full draining to get out as it was, it'll be draining again to port it to the latest version from the KoTOR source using that required bad pipeline for conversion.

Anyone know how to get rid of the shader errors? @Lila any chance for a fix? Guessing not as I see the issue has been raised in the mega-pack KoTOR props/tiles thread, both years ago and last fall, but figure it can't hurt to ask. I tried to fix them myself but didn't get very far. Managed to get the assets into unity and reclaim the meshes and textures, but hadn't a clue which material went with which part. They're so wonderfully complex that trial and error wasn't really an option.

I've not got my source downloaded, I'm afraid. It's been a loooong time since I goofed around with KoTOR models. I remember it being fucky wucky. I'll think about it.

Pretty sure the outside already exists somewhere... I'd do some digging and check to see if some star wars model packs don't include it as standard.
