Other methods that can solve the start intro issue, is by adding -nointro to launch options by right clicking the game in the library and going to properties.

If you have any other issues such as setting the options and can't load up the game, all you need to do is make sure that the following in the swat.cfg is correct shown below.

A fix you can also try is the windows feature called directplay.

1.First fix to try do is by going into your Programs and features in control panel in windows, and then to click Turn windows features on or off, then in the list, you need to find legacy features or legacy components and then enable Directplay feature, then click OK.

Hello, I recently downloaded swat 3, it starts up fine the intro and the Sierra logo screen are normal. However when I get to the main menu it shows about 75% of the screen and I am unable to actually play. Any idea as to what i can do to fix this issue?

I just press the spacebar to skip the cutscene and never had any issues after that on windows 10. plays just fine
