Updated for Norsca

This is my legendary lord Crynsos' Faction Unlocker+ addon, which gives you new customised characters to play with.

Faction Leaders:

  • Marius Leitdorf [Averland]
  • Valmir von Raukov [Ostland]

Unique Lords:

- Unique Lords are now available from your Lord recruitment pool, when you start your game

Unique Heroes:

- Unique Heroes are now unlocked when you start your game
  • Theodore Bruckner [Wissenland]

Additional things added:
  • New lore-friendly names added for Marienburg
  • New items for Boris Todbringer and The Red Duke
  • Griffon, Pegasus and Warhorse mounts for Boris Todbringer
  • "The Midnight Hunt" quest for all Empire factions.
  • Unique "Grombrindal style" campaign mechanic, for Averland, which will give Averland and Marius, various bonuses.

Known Issues:
  • Faction Leaders might lose their immortality after you have confederated with them. Unique Lords and Heroes won't lose that

  • I can't change Thorek's appearance, due to his Anvil mount and CA's weird design choices.

  • All characters have a placeholder portrait and unit card, when used in campaign, again due to CA's weird design choices.

On the Empires starting fights. If anyone still finding this has trouble with it.
It can be started with less/little trouble by spawning your first extra lord at turn 1 on southwest city to prevent it's capture for 2 turns while you grab Southeast from the easily defeated lesser army setup there. Depending on your Garrison mods this may/not work. I fight this manually and bottleneck their armies in the village.

This will cause him to send his leftover units (if he has any) north to the remaining blue city/or merge them to the army attempting to sack southwest city. Either way the extra lord needs to be in SW city to holdout till franz can rescue it.

It helps to manually fight the Southeast fights and encircle enemy lord Wc3 style to ensure he doesn't escape to reinforce the other lord. Use march if needed to get to SW city faster but be mindful not to open the door for him to kill you in open field if your mod setup doesn't allow larger army by then. He should flee north. If not ignore him and take north city leaving him totally screwed.

By the time you are closing in on the NW City you should be able to snatch either the SW Midden realm city depending on a few modded variables, or Talebec realms western city, if you are seeing pressure from his northern rebellion friends. If not You need to use the goblins for experience or turn/consider turning somebody on Nuln/Grasp w/e razed city is available. (Often Manfort area has one by then.)

In my experience this is also about time to start worrying about preserving either the sunburst realm or Stirland to avoid facing vampires yourselves if you are not ready.
Disposing with the goblin army on your way west form SE city is a great way to get on the good side of a Dwarf/Nuln Fight giving you Nuln for free sometimes. At least in my Setup. I use old world diplomacy though.

I really like this mod but it makes it stupid hard to start as the Empire. The Empire Secessionist's are very very strong.

@kaufi1990 same here, really hoping theres a solution out there soon or an update, but chances are its unlikely at this point :/
