Platform Racing 3 Hats (18 New Passive Items)

This mod adds 18 new passive items to the Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ based off of the hats from Platform Racing 3. Each hat has a different effect in PR3, which is more-or-less mimicked as an Isaac item. It also adds 3 new challenges.

Cardboard Box Hat
"What does it do?"
- Effects unknown.

Mining Helmet
"Close quarters"
- All stats up in smaller rooms (closets and hallways).

Aviator Cap
"Faster charge"
- Gain 1 pip of charge on entering a room with enemies.

Winged Helmet
"Speed hat?"
- Speed way up.
- If you get hit, you loose the speed for the room.

Pedro the Snail
"Sticky revenge!"
- When you get hit, large slowing creep spawns below you.

Shark Fin Hat
"Also scares lifeguards"
- Tears turn into shark teeth.
- Shark teeth have a 1/3 chance to fear enemies.
- Full red hearts fear you.

Happy Hat
"All stats up"
- All stats up by the threes.

Bouncy Hat
"Boing!"
- Turns your tears into rubber ducks.
- Ducks have a 50% chance to bounce off of enemies and a 50% chance to have increased knockback.

Santa Hat
"Slippery!"
- Isaac infinitely spawns slippery creep under him, making movement difficult.
- Creep does damage to enemies.
- Immunity to spikes and enemy creep.

Party Hat
"Light of the party"
- Immunity to technology and brimstone lasers.

Pirate Hat
"Dual wielder"
- Turns your tears into knives.
- Permanent mom's eye effect.
- Tears from behind you only synergize with your fire rate and multi-shot items (i.e. The Inner Eye).

Top Hat
"It's magic!"
- Spectral shot.
- The first hit you take on the floor activates the I Can See Forever pill effect.

Nurse Hat
"Recovery"
- Increases your heart containers by 2 and gives you a half red heart.
- Taking a hit has a chance to heal you instead of hurt you.
- Tears have a very low chance of dropping a full heart on kill.

Parasol Hat
"Placeholder"
- Shot speed way down.
- Tear falling speed way down.
- Tear height way up.
- The sprite and description is a reference to how the Parasol Hat sprite in PR3 was never finished or implemented.

Cowboy Hat
"Super flying cowboy hat mode!"
- Grants flight.
- Max speed.

Baseball Cap
"EXP Hat"
- Very small chance to give very small stat upgrades upon entering a room with enemies.

Crown
"King of Protection"
- When you get hit, your Crown falls off, and the damage is negated.
- You must pick the item back up in order to get the damage immunity again.
- Without flight, the Crown can sometimes drop at unreachable places.
- Item is similar to Holy Mantle gameplay-wise.

Propeller Hat
"They ruined it"
- Grants flight.
- Your next range upgrade will give you even more range.
- The description is a reference to how the name of this hat and Parasol Hat might've been a mixup.


Platform Purity
Start with all 18 of the Platform Racing 3 hats and try to beat a run to Blue Baby without any item rooms.

Hat Choice
Choose from the 18 Platform Racing 3 hats in the starting room and then go beat The Lamb.

Christmas Time
Start with Santa Hat, Lump of Coal, Wallnut, and the new booster pack item, Mystery Gift. Continue this run until you beat Mom.
