How to play: Little Crusaders

THIS GUIDE IS SORT OF OUTDATED AS OF APRIL 2019!!!!!!!!!

1. Basics (History)

So what is this game?

Well, Little Crusaders is a game based on the old "Ultimate Chimera Hunt" game from GMod Tower. If you have played that game before, Little Crusaders is virtually same. However, if you have no clue what I am talking about, don't worry! I will explain all of the gameplay mechanics in this guide.

2. Knights

Who are these handsome fellows?

In Little Crusaders, you play as either a Knight (shown above) or a Dragon (see section 3 of the guide.)

As a Knight, it is your duty to stop the Dragon! To do this, you must press the button on its back.

Controls:

Left click/E/Your use key: Interact/Pick up an item (Use this to press the button on the back of the Dragon!)
Left Shift/Your sprint key: Sprint (Be warned; once you sprint, you will continue to sprint until your sprint bar runs out!)
Right click: Taunt (Be careful, if you taunt you will freeze temporarily, and therefore be vunerable to the Dragon!)

Ranking up:

As a Knight, if you turn off the Dragon, you will rank up!
The ranks are shown below in order:

• Esquire (Pink: Starting rank.)
  
• Knight (Green: Turn off the Dragon once.)
  
• Baron (Blue: Turn off the Dragon twice.)
  
• Count (White: Turn off the Dragon thrice.)

Once you reach the Count rank, you can no longer rank up.
Be warned! If the Dragon eats you, you go back to the first rank!

Tips:

• Don't rush at the Dragon! You will use up all your sprint, and the Dragon can easily eat you!
  
• If the Dragon roars and you are in the vicinity, you will be forced to sprint and run away, unable to do anything! If this happens, try to hide somewhere. If you're feeling extra brave, try and sit on the Dragons back until you are out of the state of panic. But be careful! The Dragon can hit you off and stun you!
  
• Always try and use Birb the Bird! (See section 4 of the guide for more info!)

3. The Dragon

Fear the mighty Dragon!

You have been selected as the Dragon! That means you have to eat all of the Knights! But don't let them near your button!

Controls:

Left click: Chomp (Use your mighty teeth to eat Birb the Bird (See section 4.) and all the Knights!)
Right click: Roar (Use this to scare the Knights and temporarily stop them, or to scare Birb the Bird away! Careful though, there is a cooldown!)
Left shift/Your sprint key: Run (Unlike the Knights, you can stop sprinting. However, your sprint bar can still run out!)
Space/Your jump key: Fly/Flutter (Use this to get away from the Knights if you cannot use your roar! If you land on a Knight, you can "Goomba" stomp them! Careful, this has a cooldown!)
R/Your reload key: Tail whip (Use this to swat away pesky Knights that are on or near your button before they press it!)

Tips:

• Get the higher ground! If you are above the knights, you can see where they are a lot better!
  
• Don't rush in! When you bite, you are temporarily frozen in place. A knight could press your button!
  
• When you are above the Knights, look down! This way you can see all around yourself, so nobody can sneak up on you!
  
• Always try to eat Birb the Bird!

4. Birb the Bird

Birb the Bird is the Little Crusaders' equivalent to Mr.Saturn from Ultimate Chimera hunt.

How to Use:

Knights:
Birb will spawn a while into the round. When he does, the Knights can pick him up and throw him at the Dragon once to stun it. If Birb is thrown at the Dragon twice, it will act as if the button has been pressed and the Knights will win the round. You get units/credits for stunning the Dragon with Birb.

Dragon:
It's simple. Eat Birb before the Knights can use him!

Behaviour:

Birb will spawn in a random area on the map. He will then slowly waddle around until picked up or eaten.
If Birb is scared by the Dragon's roar, balloons will attach to Birb and he will fly away momentarily before falling to the ground and getting up again.

Tips:

• Knights: Try and hit the Dragon with Birb by sneaking up behind it. If the Dragon sees you with Birb, you will most likely become an immediate target!
  
• Dragon: As soon as Birb spawns, try and locate where he is, but be careful and always pay attention to the whereabouts of the Knights!

5. Extras

Extra little details

• When you die as a Knight, you become a Ghost.
  
• There are swords, shields and axes in the map "Amphitheatre". You can throw them, but they don't do anything.
  
• There is an upcoming map called "Jurassic Pork" that will introduce the extinct "Pigmasks" from Ultimate Chimera Hunt.

@TechnoPrizm01 sorry this is a late reply, I was on holiday. You have to be pretty quick so if the Dragon is moving about it may be harder to press it. I usually spam left click near the Dragon's button, stationary or not. This way, you can guarentee press-yness. If that doesn't work, you can use E (or your use key) as well. Hope this helped (even tho it's late so u probably fixed the problem)
