All you need to know about Crafting
Here is some of the best equipments regularly used

Those equips need a lot of work on the manufacturer's part. If you think that Tobho with 999 str + 999 luk and sandal with 999 int + 999 luk can get you those, you're dead wrong.
Each equipment come with base equipment stat for crafting (999 phys and 750 magic for legend sword of lord of fallen). I believe you can craft up to around 4x base weapon stat without any skill help and a few points for each corresponding stat (str+luk for forge). Fun part is that you can actually increase your weapon min and max limit with some skills.

  • Skills that affects max crafted stat
  • Craftsmen bonus 5x base
  • Expert Bonus 6x base
  • Master bonus 7x base
  • Forge/craft table/ enchanter bonus 5%
(I don't know 5% from what, I'm guessing from 7x base if you're using master bonus)

But that's not all, sure those skills can increase the limit of your crafter, but wouldn't it be depressing if what you craft is actually only have grandmaster/king/soldier quality, even legend quality have a very wide range of result. That's why you need the corresponding equipment type when crafting certain items (two handed bonus when crafting 2-h sword, accessory bonus when crafting accessory, etc....pretty self explanatory)

Typical helpers skill set:

So to get the best equipment you need :
1. Crafter with 999 of corresponding stat+999luk
2. Helpers each with skill share + station bonus + equipment type bonus
3. A helper with Master bonus

For example if I want to make a 2h sword, I'd need :
1. Tobho with 999 str+999 luk
2. 9 helper with skill share + Forge bonus + 2-h bonus
3. 1 helper with skill share + Forge bonus + 2-h bonus + master bonus

Position Example to boost forge :

The same applies for enchanting it, just replace the str requirement with int, forge bonus with Enchanting bonus, and 9 helper to 7 helper....because of placement limitation......
Impossible difficulty (ALL OF THIS IS SPOILER SO READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION)
    Equipment I used :
  • Legend sword of the lord of fallen 6834-9396 phys atk + 6231-8144 magic atk
  • Legend helmet of the lord of fallen 5469-7183 phys def + 3723-4343 magic def
  • Legend armor of the lord of fallen 6153-8715 phys def + 5584-6515 magic def
  • Perfect ring of blessing dex + 579 magic atk 124%
The biggest damage bonus comes from your accesory, with max stat it can have :
  • 124 element atk (garbage)
  • 124 element def (also garbage)
  • 124% element def (somewhat useful, it increase your matching element def by 124%)
  • 124% element atk (hell yeah! 6231-8144 holy atk will become 13957-something holy atk)
Due to the effect of rings elemental bonus damage, Sword of the Lord of Impure is actually better than Sword of the Lord of Fallen (you can check weapon stat above). But since crafting it 6x is such a pain (even with taxidermy knife, collecting green jelly is ....) I just use the Sword of the Lord of Fallen

To begin attempting impossible difficulty, I recommend you first get a minimum of 5k HP and 800+stat all around (I grind until 8k HP and 999 all stat on Inferno promised land because it's the best grinding spot). Every monster on impossible difficulty can put dragon to shame. With the best equipments dragon hit for 400 dmg until 1.2k dmg when it's low on hp but the monsters on impossible difficulty hit from 800+ at beginner's forest to ~2k at promised land.

And finally to beat impossible difficulty with certainty you need to craft 6 type of sword and 6 type of ring with matching element and use the opposite element to smash the bosses. Impossible beginner's forest have neutral element but easy compared to the others so don't worry.

Regarding Tornado swing vs Quadruple hit:
If you look at the damage potential, Quadruple hit is better since the resulting damage is 400% compared to tornado swing's 120% - 400%. But the biggest flaw Quadruple hit has is it can be interrupted with counter since quadruple hit counts as 4 separate hits (you'll get countered after each hit) whereas tornado swing counts as one big hit and both the bosses at promised land have counters.
I don't know how defense is calculated but if you observe how much you take damage you can see that each time the enemies hit you, the damage will always increase. It's the same for physical and magic damage. So you don't want enemies hitting you often.

Skills I used to beat the bosses are:
Beginner's Forest
Boss has reverse so don't use All sucking. It's pretty easy despite there's no element exploit

Volcano of Wrath

Permanent reflect and breaking mirror added because boss' skill hurt a lot. You can also replace tornado swing with magic aim if you want

Everlasting Glacier
Boss has Super def counter, so we need to use the "uncounterable" magic attacks

Howling Heights
The monster in this place have very high evasion so we need to use the "always hits" magic attacks

Desert of Silence
The easiest impossible level, you can actually grind stat here if you're bored with inferno promised land. You can one hit all monsters here. All counter is there if you somehow can't one hit the boss and the boss use quadruple hit.
Fast hand is there because mountain turtles have super def counter

Concealed Church
Boss has a lot of healing power, but your damage should be so high it doesn't even matter, my highscore is 5 hit tornado swing critical for 213k damage. Regular hit should be around 60k damage

Wailing Dungeon
Pretty much the same strategy as Volcano of Wrath. You can also replace magic aim with tornado swing if you want

For the impossible promised land...I'm not gonna spoil you the fun of figuring it out because I had a lot of fun trying a lot of combination of skills until i finally succeed. I can only say that you're not supposed to tank the phys hit nor hit it with phys attack because it will always counter your phys attack and it's phys hit can hit you for 6-7k a hit and crit often for 13k+.

My hint is, try to think a way to damage him without taking damage at all, because even a smack from it can kill you (the damages are even above your hp limit)
Good luck !

I tested Jimbly's accessory/forge bonuses not stacking and I disagree; it looks to me like those two do stack.

Which item has break limitation? I'm about halfway through inferno difficulty and the 999 limit is really holding me back.

Other random notes for other people: It appears that Accessory Bonus and Forge Bonus do not stack (just having one is as good as both), and, similarly, Defense Bonus does not stack with Armor Bonus / Shield Bonus, nor Weapon Bonus with Two-Handed Bonus, so your helpers just need Skill Share + Forge + Defense + Weapon + Enchanter, and that works for everything they will need to do (plus just one (or your main guy) with Master Bonus). Also, Str Rise and All Rise and similar skills that boost stats do *not* boost crafting - I needed natural 999s in Str/Int to get the max stats listed in this guide.

Great guide! I'm curious to know what Impossible Promised Land loadouts other people used are. I managed to figure out a loadout that could kill the Guardian, but could not touch 3 of the 5 possible monster types leading up to it - with enough tries, I finally got lucky and mined my way to the guardian, and did win, though! My loadout: Absolute Defense + Skill Fever (never take damage), Permanent Reflect + Breaking Mirror + Break Limitation (Reflect his Ultima back on him).

Ok. I think I understand how this thing works now. If the helpers have a skill like the Forge bonus, that 5% boost is added onto that of the crafter too. Isn't it better to make all the helpers have Master bonus too though?
