Videos/basic outlines
To get ghost rating you can knock out as many people as you need, use fiber wire to kill the target (but don't let anyone find the body if you do) and only use accidents to kill guards.

Recommended gear for this run is tranquilizer pistol, chloroform, poison and decoy.

Make sure to leave annotations on, as I use them to explain the nuances of each level and the steps taken to complete them.

Extra important thing to remember going forward is the lack of ammo for the tranquilizer pistol.
Be incredibly careful about what you use your four shots on, or you may lose your possibility for best rating.

Ghosts of the Past
The first mission should be fairly easy, but be prepared to perform a lot of knockouts and waiting for instinct to refill to get to Dr. Heindrich. Either that, or be ready to perform amazing feats of distraction and patrol memorization.

A Mole Among Us
This is probably the single easiest level in the game.
No explanation necessary.

Snake Born
I seriously don't see how you can get through this level with best rating without knocking out a lot of people. They give you a tranq pistol despite it being historically inaccurate I imagine because otherwise it'd be borderline impossible.
Patience required, prepare to eat a sandwich or something while waiting on patrols.

Red Dragon
You can easily kill the target by waiting in the spa instead of using the chandelier like I do.
Either way, while I perform the level really well you can perform knockouts as needed.

Angels in Texas
You'll be avoiding most of this level in favor of sneaking around the back.
Lots of knockouts, as you'd expect from a level where you kidnap someone.

Omerta
Remember that while foilage helps, it won't save you if you're too close.
Otherwise the annotations should explain everything.

Points on the Radar
I actually prolong killing the target more than any other in this video; you can push him off the ledge after turning the generator off, or you can poison his food, or you can, you know, use the choke cord on him. That and I push a guard off a guard tower for no real reason other than to show you can.
Either way, straightforward enough.

Black Book
Good luck sneaking in bright pink.
Be prepared to perform lots of knockouts to get to the target, and remember to bring a knife if you want to perform an accident on him.

Dogs of War
The hardest part of this level is just getting to the first group of targets.
Once that's over, getting from upstairs to the final target is the only real source of difficulty.
If you've made it this far, this should be nothing.

Check and Mate
So, this level has more waiting on instinct to fill up for knockouts than any other.
I've seen amazing use of whistles to make this level more bearable and less knockout heavy, but ultimately I'm not good enough to do this and if you're reading this guide, you probably aren't either.
Remember you have only one shot from one tranquilizer pistol you have to acquire at immense effort.

You Only Live Twice
Patience, and lots of waiting for knockouts.
Kind of like Check and Mate, I've seen really impressive distracting of the AI with whistling to make this level more bearable.
Either way, the level is so tight and loaded they give you an extra shot for your tranquilizer after a patch.
Be aware you probably won't be able to kill the Gardner with the choke cord.
In closing
I may update this to be text based for people who don't have a solid internet connection in the near future, but for the time being I'm not exactly large on free time.
