2 years later not a single answer yet, hell of an uploader not answering their users.
Anyways the way i see the wing lights being used, it should be the same along with taxi lights.
I haven seen an single jet using them otherwise.
Not all aircrafts has winglights tho. mostly the bigger and medium jets.
i noticed the wing lights comonly turns off when entering the runway.
so that being said, makes me assume it's just for taxi and their walk around aircraft check when dark.
