How to impress the main characters. Character mood guide.

In this guide, I will tell you what affect your choices will have on a character's mood counter each chapter. When you say or do the right things, you make a character happy and, you might just impress them too. When you say the wrong things though, they get sad and upset, and your get-together could be at an end, for good. I will also be pointing out other choices that can spring up based on things you say, as well as the way to enable getting a character's good ending.

When a get-together is concluded, the game takes into account what the mood counter is for that chapter if there is one. If a mood counter is high enough, that character will be good, and will want to meet you next time. if they are impressed, they'll even leave a phone message to remind you to visit them. You might even find romance with a character that is impressed with your behavior. If it's too low, then they will not want to meet with you again.

This guide also tells you if you need items collected or when a choice presented that will help advance you to that character's good or bad ending in Chapter 5.

Also, depending on which characters you visit, or things you do during your investigation, can change or even add new bits of dialogue said by characters.

So with that said, this guide will contain spoilers.

This guide should be valid as of April 8th, 2018. Version 1.07.

Remy - Chapter 1
Chapter 1 - Take care not to be flirty or rude with him.
Simple.

If you get a bad status on this chapter, you can still redeem yourself by visiting Remy during the Chapter 2 investigation, asking him how he is doing, and apologize for being a jerk. You will then be able to visit him in Chapter 2. If you screw that up, it's all over. There is no "Third times the charm."


  • Choice: Here so soon?
  • "Not like I had anything better to do."
  • "Better be safe than sorry." (Mood +1)
  • "Yeah, I probably shouldn't have come at all." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: Are you a librarian?
  • "So, basically you're an expert on everything?"
  • "That sounds like the kind of thing I'd like to do." (Mood +1)
  • "Just thinking about doing that kind of work day after day gives me a headache." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: Why are you here?
  • "You're just too damn cute, that's why." (Mood -1)
  • "I was interested in what you said the other day. You have myths about humans?" (Mood +1)
  • "I was bored and coming here seemed to be the most interesting option."

  • Choice: Help Remy with something?
  • "I respectfully decline your request for help."

    • "I have reconsidered my stance on this matter and have decided to help you."
    • "I'm sure." (THIS GET-TOGETHER IS OVER. His status is now Bad. Seriously? You couldn't lend a helping hand...?)
  • "Sure, not like I have anything better to do."
  • "Alright. How do I fit them in, alphabetically?" (Mood +1)

Choice:

  • "That does sound very intuitive." (Mood +1)
  • "That sounds complicated."

When doing the book logic puzzle, you can earn a huge mood bonus if you get them right the first time. Otherwise, if you keep messing up, his mood could decrease. Mess up too much, and there might not be a second get-together.

To save time, I have decided to just show the solution below behind spoiler tags. Place your cursor over the black boxes to see the answer appear. if you are wondering how you were suppose to figure it out, please look at my Achievement Guide.


Logic Puzzle Solution
  • Book 1: The Inception

If you got the book order right the first time: (Mood +3)

  • Choice: You can pick any of these. They do not affect his mood.
  • "Phew, that was hard work."
  • "That wasn't too hard..."

Otherwise:

Depending on how many books are in their correct right place, you can change his mood and it can go down hill fast. I am unsure if this is considered a bug, or if done on purpose. So, if you kept messing up the order of books with 5 or less correct, he basically loses his patience with you.


  • If you got 6 of them right: (Mood +1)
  • If you got less than 6 right:
  • Choice:
  • "Let me try again." (Mood -1)
  • "This is the best I can do."
  • "[Give up and leave.]" (THIS GET-TOGETHER IS OVER. His status is now Bad.)

And with that puzzle done, you continue onward.

  • Choice: Help out Remy some more?
  • "Sure thing." (Mood +1)
  • "If I have to."
  • "Do I have to?"

  • Choice: What to say after dropping the box of artifacts?
  • "S-Sorry..." (Mood +1)
  • "Oh, guess my own safety isn't worth as much."
  • "You shouldn't have asked me for help if you were so worried about the condition of these things." (Mood -1)
  • "[Make fun of him for caring so much about books and scrolls.]" (THIS GET-TOGETHER IS OVER. His status is now Bad. Why would you be so mean?)

  • Choice: Familiar with how the portal operates?
  • "Not very."
  • "Actually, I am." (Mood +1)
  • "I don't know, nor do I care." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: Thoughts about wormholes?
  • "Fascinating stuff."
  • "That's pretty cool." (Mood +1)
  • "The longer you keep talking about this, the less I care." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: Beliefs about humans?
  • "Well, I can tell you that there is nothing supernatural about me." (Mood +1)
  • "Those people are stupid." (Mood -1)
  • "Maybe you should worship me."

  • Choice: Were you nervous too?
  • "I have to admit I was, too. I was speechless when I saw you, and that wasn't just a side-effect of the teleportation." (Mood +1)
  • "I think you were pretty brave."
  • "I think you were pretty foolish." (Mood -1)

Emera calls for Remy, so we go and wait in his office for the time being. There are a few things we can do while we wait for him.


  • Choice: What shall you do to pass the time?
  • "Wait." (Do this option a few times to get an achievement.)
  • "Rummage through his trash." (Eww. Not sure why you would want to do this. All you find is a partially eaten sandwich, and it's moldy. Searching the trash further finds some used tissues.)
  • "Look at his notebook." (Just some notes. We can't really read them.)
  • "Drink his coffee." (Not very tasty.)
  • "Look in the mirror." (While it is just a mirror, if the name of your character happens to be Jaden or Jayden, you will get some extra commentary.)
  • "Look at his computer." (Mess with Remy's computer to play a game and continue onward.)


After you have messed with Remy's computer...

  • Choice: Pick any of these. No affect to mood.
  • "I think I broke it."
  • "Nothing."
  • "..."

  • Choice: Why did you touch the computer?
  • "I got bored." or "I just wanted to see what was on it."
  • "It's fine, it's just a computer." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: Would you understand?
  • "Actually, I do." (Mood +1)
  • "Calm down, it's just a game." (Mood -1)
  • "Sorry."

  • Choice: What did you want to ask about?
  • "I'd like to know more about your human myths." (Mood +1)
  • "Are you "available"?" (Mood -1)
  • "I can't really think of anything."

Maximum possible mood points: 16

And now, the final count on his mood for Chapter 1. How did you do? Did you really have fun in the library?

IF Remy's final mood counter is 0 or less...


  • Choice: PICK ANYTHING. The get-together is over anyway. His status with you is Bad.
  • "Yeah, whatever."
  • "Now kiss me already, you handsome albino."
  • "I agree."

IF Remy's final mood counter is between 1 and 12...

  • Choice: PICK ANYTHING. The get-together is over anyway. His status with you is Good.
  • "How about you invite me to dinner some time?"
  • "How about a kiss?"
  • "I can't really think of anything."

Otherwise, if his mood counter is 13 or higher, hurrah! You impressed Remy!

For now...
Remy - Chapter 2
Chapter 2 - Once again, be nice. Don't be flirty or rude. You are in his home.
Sounds easy enough, right?

If you don't visit Remy's at all in Chapter 2 for his 2nd scene, he wil become abandoned. There is a way to redeem yourself, but it involves doing Anna's 3rd scene and while out for a jog, just don't tell him about the bet you made with Anna and that you are simply out for a jog and have been busy. His status will be made Normal, allowing you to do his 2nd scene. This means in Chapter 4, you can do his 3rd and 4th scenes to play catch up.


  • Choice: Thanks for coming.
  • "It's no problem, really." (Mood +1)
  • "It really is." or "Potato." (Mood +0)
  • "There's something else you could do for me..." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: Hungry?
  • "Anything will do." or "How about steak?" or "Do you have something vegetarian?" (Mood +0)
  • "I could go for some "meat" right now..." (Mood -1)

While Remy is in the bathroom, you can pretty much do 3 of the following choices, except for the obvious ESCAPE one.

  • Choice: What to do why waiting?
  • "Examine the shelves."
  • "Go into the bathroom."
  • "Look at the pictures." (IMPORTANT: You need to select this option 3 times in order to view all of them and to even mention them later in this scene.)
  • "Search his bedroom."
  • "Wait."
  • "Escape while I still can." (THIS GET-TOGETHER IS OVER. His status is now Bad. Why would you leave? He was cooking you a tasty dinner...)

After Remy returns from the bathroom...

  • Choice: Sounds like you are hungry.
  • "I suppose so..." (Mood +1)
  • "I'll starve if you keep standing around." (Mood -1)
  • "I'm so empty." (Mood +0)
  • "[Lift your shirt]" (THIS GET-TOGETHER IS OVER. His status is now Bad. Why? Just, why?)

When Remy asks what you have been thinking about... and depending on what you did while Remy was in the bathroom, some of these choices listed may or may not be available to look at. None of these will affect his mood at all.

  • Choice: Ask Remy some questions.
  • "I looked at some of your scrolls." (If you chose "Examine the shelves.")
  • "Do you live here by yourself?"
    • IF "Do you live here by yourself?" ... Choice:
    • "Mention the pictures." (If you have not gotten Remy's good ending yet, you need to choose this option in order to get to it.)
    • "Don't say anything."
  • "I was thinking about those recent murders."
  • "I met Emera recently." (If you have met Emera in Tatsu park.)
  • "Why did you use a stove to cook?"
  • "Nothing in particular."

After you tell Remy "Nothing in particular.", continue onward:

  • Choice: Was the food tasty?
  • "It is adequate." (Mood +0)
  • "It is delicious." (Mood +1)
  • "I would marry this steak if I could." (Mood +0)

If you visited Anna recently, the following choice becomes available.. Depending on what you tell him will affect his mood.

  • Choice: Seen him with Anna earlier.
  • "Mention that you saw him with Anna."
    • IF "Mention that you saw him with Anna." ... Choice:
    • "Maybe she isn't as bad as you say." (Mood -1)
    • "I agree." (Mood +1)
    • "Say nothing." (Mood +0)

    Whether you had the previous choice or not...

    • Choice: The differences between hair and fur.
    • "I don't know." (Mood +0)
    • "Fur has a set length, whereas hair will keep growing." (Mood -1)
    • "Fur is more dense than hair." (Mood -1)
    • "There is none." (Mood +1)

    • Choice: Which do you like more?
    • "I like the people." (Mood +1)
    • "I like the landscape." (Mood +0)

    • Choice: Remy was able to save his game.
    • "Okay." (Mood -1)
    • "Glad to hear it." (Mood +1)
    • "Good job, Remy. You're AWESOME." (Mood +0)

    • Choice: Would you have helped with the game?
    • "Ain't nobody got time for that." (Mood -1)
    • "Yeah, sure." (Mood +0)
    • "I wouldn't mind playing some of your video games." (Mood +1)

    • Choice: A chance to talk.

    • Choice: What has Remy been up to?
    • "Is that supposed to be a joke?" (Mood -1)

    • "Yes, that's what I meant." (Mood +1)

    • Choice: Want some dessert?
    • "You don't have to bother. I'm on a diet." (Mood +0)
    • "Would it happen to be a cream pie with a cherry on top?" (Mood -1)
    • "I'm up for some dessert." (Mood +1)

    • Choice: You can pick any of these. They do not affect his mood.
    • "Wait."
    • "Ask him if he needs help."
    • "Help him."

    • Choice: Remy dropped cake.
    • "You don't need to apologize." (Mood +1)
    • "That's fine, I'll just eat your slice instead." (Mood -1)
    • "I didn't really want dessert anyway." (Mood +0)

    • Choice: None of these affect his mood at all. Take your pick.
    • "You should resign, consequences be damned."
    • "Can't you report her to a superior or something?"
    • "You'll just have to endure it."

    Maximum possible mood points: 11 or 12

    And that concludes the second get-together. How did you do? Will there be a third get-together in your future? Let's find out.

    IF Remy's final mood counter is 1 or less.. his status is Bad. This get-together is over. No second chances either.

    IF Remy's final mood counter is between 2 and 9... you helped clean up and his status is Good.

    IF Remy's final mood counter is 10 or higher... you share some cake with him and he is impressed.

    For now at least...

Remy - Chapter 3
Chapter 3 - Since you have been on good terms or better with Remy, something can definitely bloom, but only if you make the right choices.

And begin:


  • Choice: Been to the park before?
  • "Can't say I have." (Mood +1)
  • "A few times." (Mood -1)
  • "Once or twice." (Mood +0)

  • Choice: Your thoughts about the scenery.
  • "It's pretty idyllic." (Mood +0)
  • "It's pretty romantic." (Mood +1)
  • "It's nothing special." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: Felt emptiness inside?
  • "I do." (Mood +0)
  • "I used to." (Mood +1)
  • "Can't say I do." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: Got time to spare?
  • "We have a lot of time." (Mood +1)
  • "Make it a quick one." (Mood -1)
  • "I don't mind." (Mood +0)

The following determines whether or not Remy's Good ending can be enabled. To get this choice, there are several conditions that must be met. If you don't meet them, then you get his bad ending by default and you do not get this choice. Otherwise, if you do meet all of them, the good ending can happen... if you make the right choice.

The condtions you must meet in order to enable the Good Ending choice:


  • You must have seen at least one ending to the game. (Neutral or bad ones.)

  • In this play-through or a previous one: You must have met Amely from Adine's 2nd get-together.

  • In this play-through or a previous one: Visited the library during the Chapter 2 investigation and asked about what Adine wanted.

  • In THIS play-through: Adine's current status must be Neutral or better. It cannot be Bad or Abandoned.

  • In this play-through or a previous one: Vara must have been rescued and saved.

  • Choice:
  • "Have you ever talked to a professional about this?"
  • "I remember you said that you always wanted children." (Enables Remy's good ending. You must meet the conditions above for this to appear.)

If you didn't meet the conditions, the choice "Have you ever talked to a professional about this?" is automatically done.

Whether Anna survives Chapter 3 or not, Remy will tell you that she has, or had, cancer. This is how you learn of her condition, which allows you to do Anna's good ending. When he tells you, this overrides the ability to read the treatment letter to Anna. This means she will get upset at Remy and the council, instead of at you for reading the treatment plan letter.

Let's continue the get-together:


  • Choice: A lot on your mind?
  • "Not really." (Mood -1)
  • "There is." (Mood +0)

  • Choice: Feelings about Emera's political game?
  • "That's a good tactic." (Mood -1)
  • "That's very dishonest." (Mood +1)
  • "I can't blame her for that." (Mood +0)

  • Choice: Would you want to stay?
  • "That wouldn't be so bad." (Mood +0)
  • "I'd love living here." (Mood +1)
  • "That'd be a shame." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: His struggles aren't as bad?
  • "You're right." (Mood -1)
  • "Don't say that." (Mood +1)
  • "We all have our own struggles." (Mood +0)

  • Choice: Can he be strong?
  • "Who says you can't?" or "What does it matter?" (Mood +0)
  • "You aren't. Deal with it." (Mood -1)

Maximum possible mood points: 7

And with this, Chapter 3 is more or less a wrap. Let's check the final mood counter as well as what other additional choice(s) you get.

IF Remy's final mood counter is less than 2... his status is Bad. This get-together is now over, for good. Where did you go so wrong?

IF Remy's final mood counter is higher than 1 however, you get a choice to make. Depending on what you say can sway his status in any direction.


  • Choice:
  • "I like you as a friend." (His status is Good. Always nice to have a friend.)
  • "I like you as more than just a friend." (His status is Impressed. Enables romance option in Chapter 4.)
  • "Don't read too much into our meetings." (THIS GET-TOGETHER IS OVER. His status is Bad. You tried so hard and got so far, but in the end...)

And with that, Chapter 3 is now a wrap.
Remy - Chapter 4 + 5
Chapter 4 - In this chapter, while there is no mood counter for Remy, his mood could still be changed depending on one final choice you make near the end of the chapter.

It's also a good thing that you made it to this scene. If Remy's status was Bad or Abandoned before Chapter 4, and you were to deliver the PDA recovered during the investigation, you would find that Remy chose to take his life. This will only occur if you have not gotten his Good ending yet. Once you have gotten his Good ending, he will no longer end his life due to weird dreams, or bad feelings.

IF Remy's mood from the previous chapter is Good, you'll simply be invited to the fireworks. His mood will stay as Good.

HOWEVER, If his mood is Impressed, he will try to kiss you. What you decide to do, will change his status here...


  • Choice:
  • "Look away." (His status is now Good.)
  • "Kiss him." (His status stays Impressed.)

And with that, Chapter 4 is a wrap.

What you choose to do in Chapter 5... well, that's up to you now. If you have met the conditions and enabled Remy's good ending, then going with him to the fireworks will do his good ending. Otherwise, his bad ending triggers instead.


Anna - Chapter 1
Chapter 1 - Try not to be whinny or complain a lot. Just go along with her.

If you get a bad status with her, there is no second chance. She will not answer any questions during your Chapter 3 investigation, and will even tell you to get lost in Chapter 4 when you try to deliver a bandage.

With that said, let's proceed:


  • Choice: Greeting Anna
  • "What was that all about?" (Mood -1)
  • "Hey, Anna." (Mood +1)
  • "Hellooo." (Mood +0)

  • Choice: You can pick either. No affect on mood.
  • "I saw everything."
  • "Not very long."

  • Choice: Show us around?
  • "Guess you can give me the tour some other time, then." (Mood +0)
  • "How disappointing." (Mood -1)
  • "I see." (Mood +1)

  • Choice: Break time?
  • "What a lucky coincidence." (Mood +1)
  • "I hope no one notices your unscheduled break." (Mood -1)
  • "I wish I had the ability to make breaks happen at my convenience." (Mood +0)

  • Choice: Go out for coffee?
  • "It would be my pleasure." (Mood +1)
  • "I think I'd rather not." (THIS GET-TOGETHER IS OVER. Her status is Bad. Seriously? Why did you even go and visit her?)
  • "Sure, why not." (Mood +0)

Off to the cafe. Try to have fun and stay on her good side.

  • Choice: What to drink?
  • "I'll also take a coffee, please." (Mood +1)
  • "Just a soda." (Mood +0)
  • "Bring me a beer." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: Thoughts about the waitress.
  • "I think she was just trying to be friendly." (Mood +0)
  • "I know her, it's fine." (Mood -1)
  • "I know, she can be pretty annoying." (Mood +1)

  • Choice: Curiosity resolved?
  • "I've only seen glimpses, but it already sounds like a fascinating place." (Mood +1)
  • "It does." (Mood +0)
  • "Not at all." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: About collecting or wanting your blood.
  • "I was just asking a question, that's all." (Mood -1)
  • "Yes, totally. You can call your lawyer if you like." (Mood +1)
  • "I think someone's in a bad mood." (Mood +0)

  • Choice: Is it a interrogation?
  • "Alright, I'll finish my drink quietly, then, if that's what you'd prefer." (Mood +1)

When anna tells you what she wants as her prize, either you can agree and go along with it, or decline and end the get-together.

    • IF "I cannot agree to that." ... Choice:
    • "Sorry, but I can't sell my body for a bet." (THIS GET-TOGETHER IS OVER. Her status with you is Bad. What a shame.)

TRIVIA PARTY TIME! Depending on how you answer the questions, you can get chances to improve her mood.

  • Choice: Question #1
  • "Haziq Aakil" (CORRECT)
  • "Otomo Izumi" or "Damion Dandelion" (WRONG)
    • IF "Haziq Aakil" ... Choice:
    • "Maybe you shouldn't underestimate me." (Mood +1)
    • "It was a lucky guess." (Mood -1)
    • "Not a good start for you, is it?" (Mood +0)

IF you answered question #1 wrong, bummer. No mood changes. Moving on:

  • Choice: Question #2
  • "One." or "Two." (WRONG)
  • "Three." (CORRECT) (Mood +1)
    • IF (WRONG) ... Choice:
    • "What a stupid question." (Mood +1)
    • "Let's just move on." (Mood +0)
    • "That doesn't count." (Mood -1)

  • Choice: Question #3
  • "#1, the room filled with poisonous gas." (WRONG)
  • "#2, the room filled with one hundred highly trained assassins." (WRONG)
  • "#3, the room submerged in water filled with alligators that have not eaten in eight months."(WRONG)
  • "None of these." (CORRECT) (Mood +1)
    • IF (WRONG) ...Choice:
    • "This question is poorly worded." (Mood +0)
    • "This is ridiculous." (Mood -1)

Maximum possible mood points: 14

Well, that wraps up the trivia game, and this get-together. Let's see how you did, and the final mood count.

IF you managed to answer all of Anna's questions correctly to tie her score... her status with you will be Impressed, regardless of what her mood counter is, even if it is extremely negative.

HOWEVER, IF you lost to Anna, but her mood count is 1 or higher... her status with you will be Good. So either way, you won yourself a date. Hopefully, things will keep going up for you.

OTHERWISE, if you lost to Anna and her mood count is 0 or lower... the get-together is over and her status with you is Bad. No date for you! And no second chances!

Chapter 1 is a wrap.

Anna - Chapter 2
Chapter 2 - Seriously. Don't be a whinny human.

To repeat once again, there are no second chances with her if you screw up.

With that said, let's proceed with the date:


  • Choice: What to do?
  • "Go home." (THIS GET-TOGETHER IS OVER BEFORE IT EVEN BEGAN. Her status is now Bad. You couldn't even wait an hour?)
  • "Wait."

Now at this point, in order to enable Anna's good ending, you have to actually learn or discover that she has cancer. There are two ways this can be done.

The first way is to try and get into her lab and read the letter under the door. Upon taking the letter and reading it, you will learn about her treatment plan from her doctor.

The second way, is for Remy to tell you on his third get-together in the park. If he tells you about it, you will no longer be able to tell Anna that you had learned of the disease from the treatment plan. You'll see why when you get to Chapter 4.


  • Choice: Stick around?
  • "Go home." (THIS GET-TOGETHER IS OVER BEFORE IT EVEN BEGAN. Her status is now Bad. Oh, come on. Waiting 2 hours is not that bad...)
  • "Wait."
  • "Try to get into her lab." (Path to Anna's Good Ending)
    • IF "Try to get into her lab." ... Choice:
    • "Take it." (You learn about Anna's cancer. Good ending is now possible to get.)
    • "Leave it."

Anna now finally shows up and the date can actually begin:

  • Choice: Understand her lateness?
  • "You better be." (Mood -1)
  • "Let's just go." (Mood +0)
  • "Losing track of time happens to the best of us." (Mood +1)

  • Choice: Pick any of these. No changes to mood at all.
  • "I'd prefer someplace inside."
  • "I'd rather be someplace less dirty."
  • "Actually, I do."

  • Choice: Tasty?
  • "That's gross." (Mood -1)
  • "I'll pass." (Mood +0)
  • "I already have my own dirt." (Mood +1) (You must have visited Tatsu Park and collected the dirt from the shrubbery in order to get this option and mood effect.)

Out to dinner:

  • Choice: Free food?
  • "I seriously doubt that." (Mood +0)
  • "You're a bad girl, Anna." (Mood +1)
  • "I'm no filthy thief. I'm outta here." (THIS GET-TOGETHER IS OVER. Her status is Bad. Seriously? You passed on free food?)

  • Choice: Which part?
  • "Offal." (Mood +1)

Anna - Chapter 4 + 5
Chapter 4 - If you made it this far, Anna must be so into you, right?[

In this chapter, there is no mood counter, however, there are some choices that determine what ending you get, as well as triggering the Romance option.

There are a few conditions you must meet in order to enable Anna's good ending.


  • You must have seen at least one ending to the game.

  • You must have learned of her cancer from either the Treatment Plan letter, or from Remy.

If you learned of Anna's cancer from either the Treatment Plan letter or from Remy, you will be able to mention to her that you know of her condition. Do note that if you learned of the disease from Remy, you will not be able to mention the letter to her at all.

By telling her that you read the letter, she will be very upset with you. If you tell her that Remy has told you, she will be upset at him and the council. This doesn't change her status with you in any since you will tell her some very good news.


  • Choice: This determines which ending you will get.
  • "Don't say anything." (This triggers Anna's Bad ending.)
  • "Tell her you know about her cancer." (This triggers Anna's Good ending.)

  • Choice: You can pick any of these.
  • "Truth is what I feel is right."
  • "I share your view, actually."
  • "I know that I know nothing."

The following choice will either keep her status Impressed, or change it to Good. It depends on what you do.

  • Choice: Your decision. Feeling romantic?
  • "I was smitten with you since the first time I saw you." OR "I don't hate you, too." (ROMANCE OPTION!)
  • "I just did it to be nice." (Changes Anna's status to Good, and ends the get-together.)

Lorem - Chapter 1
Chapter 1 - Don't be mean, and show interest in his game. Take him seriously on this.

If you end up on bad terms with him, there is no second chance. He will not stop to speak to you at the facility during the Chapter 3 investigation. However, if you only visited him once in Chapter 1, but not at all in Chapter 2, his status will become Abandoned for Chapter 3.
If you visit him at the facility and tell him that you had been busy, his status will change to Good, and you will be able to play catch-up and play both his second and third scenes.

Try searching around in the front of the park a few times, and eventually you'll find a shiny orb during the Chapter 2 investigation. (It's there. Just keep searching. Third time is usually the charm, right?)

The second item is a charging base for it. You'll find that at the police archives during the Chapter 3 investigation, inside of Bryce's trash bin. If you fail to get it, Sebastian will help you search Bryce's office for one in Chapter 4, but by then, the trash has already been emptied.

With that said, let's keep that T-pose going.

Lorem - Chapter 3
Chapter 3 - In this chapter, there is no mood count for Lorem. Any of the choices you make are up to you, as at the end of the chapter, his status will automatically become Impressed due to you saving him from drowning.

It was a very good thing that you decided to go treasure hunting with him.

Once you get his Good ending, he will either not enter the abandoned store, or may not even go treasure hunting due to either weird dreams, or bad feelings.

This concludes Chapter 3.
Lorem - Chapter 4 + 5
Chapter 4 - In this chapter, while there is no mood count for Lorem, there is but one choice you get to make, that will change his mood, for the better, or for the worse. It all depends on whether or not you still want to be friends with this tiny blue dragon after he tells you his secret.

There are two dragons that hint about what his secret might be.

The first one is when you are at Bryce's chapter 3 BBQ. If you had visited Lorem 3 times before going to the BBQ, Sebastian will point out that he has noticed you hanging out with Lorem a few times. When Zhong asks who that is, Sebastian will start to mention something, but Bryce will cut him off. What was Sebastian going to say? Well, guess you will find out soon enough.

The second is when you visit Ipsum as a witness during chapter 4. If you have been hanging out with Lorem at every point so far, he will ask whether you plan to meet with Lorem again. He'll tell you that Lorem doesn't have too many friends and has taken a liking to you. He asks that you not get at mad him if Lorem happens to say or do something. What could this something be?

However, if you visit Ipsum in chapter 4 and you have not visited at least 2 scenes of Lorem's and have his good ending yet, Ipsum will tell you that his room mate has been missing for days, and he hasn't heard back from the police at all. He'll refuse to be a witness. It's clear why he goes missing in the previous chapter, if you weren't there with him.


Also, in order to have triggered Lorem's Good ending, you must meet the following conditions up to this point, otherwise, he won't assemble the sphere:

  • You must have seen at least one ending to the game.

  • Found the Ixomen Sphere in Tatsu Park during Chapter 2.

  • Gotten the charging base from Bryce's trash bin in Chapter 3.


And now, onto a few minor pizza choices:


  • Choice: Pick anything.
  • "Seriously? Salad on a pizza?"
  • "That's a new one. Sounds interesting."
  • "I'll take that as well."

  • Choice: Pick anything. You are the one eating it after all.
  • "Pepperoni."

There is some dialogue changes that can happen when Lorem answers the door. This dialogue will change based on what Adine's current status is with you. She is the one, delivering the pizza after all.

If Adine's status with you is Good or Impressed, she'll question Lorem on why he is inside your apartment.

If Adine's status with you is Neutral, Lorem simply comments that he knows her since they both are delivery fliers.

If Adine's status with you is Bad or Abandoned, she'll have some very... 'choice words' about you (not good things), and she'll wish Lorem good luck with you.

And now you come to the time when Lorem finally reveals his secret, and you have a very important choice to make as your friendship is on the line. Do you stay friends with this little blue dragon, or did everything that you two have done together up to this point, mean absolutely nothing?


  • Choice: Lorem tells you his secret. What do you tell him?
  • "I don't mind." (Lorem's status with you is Impressed. Friends forever?)
  • "I'm not sure what to say." (This changes Lorem's status to Good.)
  • "Get out." (The friendship is over. His status with you is now Bad. He did absolutely nothing wrong. Nothing. You are a terrible human.)

If you chose "I'm not sure what to say.", you can still meet with Lorem in Chapter 5 and redeem yourself. When you go to Chapter 5, this is where you also decide what ending you are doing for Lorem.

  • Choice: Choose your ending with Lorem.

  • "Leave it." (Bad ending - This ending is defaulted to if you do not have the sphere assembled.)

If you end up on bad terms with him, you do have a chance to redeem yourself. Visit Zhong at the grocery store during Chapter 2 and you'll end up calling up Bryce to apologize and clear things up. This is your only chance you get to redeem yourself if you had upset Bryce.

Chapter 3 - In this chapter, while there is a mood counter for Bryce, it seems to have no actual purpose.

While there are some minor choices you can make, there is only one choice that can actually end the get-together before it even starts.

Also, if you have been visiting another character besides Bryce, Sebastian will actually take notice of this and point it out during the barbecue. You must have visited the other character 3 times, before going to the barbecue. Otherwise, Sebastian simply points out that he has noticed you been hanging out with Bryce the most.

If Sebastian notices you have been hanging out with Bryce, he will point it out. Zhong will consider it awkward. Bryce simply calls you a cool human worth hanging out with.

Now, there is a choice that can pop up, letting you ask about the map at the police archive that Adine asks for.

In order to ask Bryce about the map, there are a few conditions you have to meet:


  • You must have played Adine's 2nd scene at some point in this or a previous play-through.

  • You can not currently have the map on hand.

  • You can not have already given the map to Adine in Chapter 3.

  • Choice: This is only available if you met the conditions above.

Now, comes the time to go to sleep. Who sleeps on the floor? Who sleeps on the couch?

Depends on what you choose, either Bryce's status with you will be either Good or Impressed.

Before we proceed into Bryce's meet-up in Chapter 4, in order to get Bryce's good ending, you will need to speak to Maverick in Bryce's office, after Bryce and Sebastian leave for the farmhouse. In order to do this, there are certain conditions that need to be met:


  • You must have seen at least one ending to the game.

  • You must have given Anna your blood at some point, either in this play-through, or a previous one.

  • You must have played at least Bryce's 2nd get-together.

  • Bryce's current status cannot be Bad or Abandoned.

  • Choice: This only appears if you meet the conditions to enable Bryce's good ending.
  • "Tell Maverick to wait." (Bryce's good ending.)
  • "Don't say anything." (Bryce's bad ending.)

Once you made your choice, we can move onto the next chapter.
Bryce - Chapter 4 + 5
Chapter 4 - In this chapter, while Bryce has no mood counter again, there is still a choice that could be made to end the get-together for good if you went the Romance route.

If you made it to this scene, then you made the right call to go first at the abandoned farm during the investigation. Had Bryce gone first, he would have met a terrible fate. Once you get his Good ending, he will no longer be in danger and enter first, even if you tell him to do so, due to weird dreams or bad feelings. Even Sebastian will get them and chooses to look inside a window to find that the door was rigged.

Anyway, minor choice:


  • Choice: Share the wine?
  • "If I have to."
  • "No, thanks. It's all yours."
  • "Sure."

Whether you share a drink or not, after Bryce gets upset and starts talking about how it isn't easy being a police chief.

If you haven't followed Vara from the store during the chapter 3 investigation or from a previous play-through, Bryce will tell you that a little child and her mother were found dead in their home located on the outskirts. The mother dying from an illness and the little girl never leaving her side. He also tells you that the little girl's father was one of Reza's earlier victims.

Sebastian would tell you about Vara's father being a victim as well, if you followed and rescue Vara. Saving Vara is a requirement in getting Remy's good ending.

After you cheer up Bryce, he tells you about Emera. Depending on whatever you told him to do at the barbeque, he will inform you of the results of that choice.

If you spoke to Maverick with the blood test results, you'll tell Bryce all about the conversation that was had, and how he doesn't suspect you being with Reza as much.

And now, comes the fireworks. If you had shared the couch in the previous chapter, you will have triggered the Romance choice. What you decide to do, can either keep him Impressed, or change his mood to Good or even ruin everything. The choice is yours.


  • Choice: This only appears if Bryce is Impressed.
  • "It didn't mean what you thought it meant." (Bryce's status changes to Good and ends the evening. Just friends.)
  • "It meant exactly what you thought it meant." OR "It didn't mean anything, but we can still make this a romantic evening." (ROMANCE OPTION)

Chapter 1 - Be nice to her. She also likes it when you are silly, but in the good way.

If you get on Bad terms with her, you won't get a second chance. However, if you only visited her once or twice in the game, and her status becomes Abandoned, you still have a chance to redeem yourself when you deliver the eggs from the farmhouse. Just tell her you have been busy with everything going on, and she will understand. Her status will change to Neutral and you can visit her again.

Chapter 4 - While there is no mood counter for Adine, you do have but one, and only one choice to make, and that is the romance option. It can change her status with you, but it seems to have really no overall affect.

Anyway, you go with Adine to the stunt flying competition and after noticing her wing not in great shape without the banadge, you convince her not to fly in the contest. It's a good thing you tagged along as if she had flown, she would have had a fatal accident off screen. Once you get her Good ending, she will no longer be in danger and will not fly due to weird dreams or bad feelings.

You both walk back to her apartment where on the way back, she points out the moving star in the sky by the moon, but you know stars don't really do that.

When you get back to the apartment, she shows you something on TV where humans are believed to look like. Then, she asks you for a favor. It involves her shower. While normally, flyers already have a hard time doing certain things, having an injured wing makes it even harder.

So, here is the decision that you, the lucky human gets to make.


  • Choice: Do you help out Adine by washing her wings and back?
  • "I'll do it." (Her status is Impressed. You are a good human friend.)
  • "I won't do that." (Her status is Good. Still, it'd been nice to help her out you know?)

If you help her by washing her wings and back, you end up staying too late, and because of the police advising people not to be out late, Adine lets you stay the night. Whether you actually slept together, well, that's up to your imagination. End of chapter 4.

And for Chapter 5, just go with Adine to do her endings. Whether you gave her the map, or not.
Side Characters
As you play through the chapters, you can encounter five different side characters that you can meet up with. While some can be made available up front, others require specific conditions in order to get to meet with them.

Side characters do not have mood counters to them, so choices don't really affect them.

I will list the characters and their chapters in order. Remember that you can only meet with two dragons per chapter, and a side character does count as one. You can play the game and visit only the side characters if you really wanted to.




Sebastian - Chapter 1

After the first investigation, you can meet with Sebastian right away. You can opt in to going camping with him and even play a mini card game that he is good at. Depending on how you play, can result in either in a normal Win, Lose, or Draw. There are special ultra conditions where either you or Sebastian wins all the possible points, or neither of you get any points.

Ultra win is when you either tie or win every hand, scoring all 13 possible points.
The combo that I found to do this: 2-3-J-K-Q-10-6-5-A-9-8-4-7

Ultra lose is when Sebastian ties or wins every hand, scoring all 13 possible points.
The combo that I found to do this: 2-A-4-J-10-8-9-K-Q-7-6-5-3

Ultra draw is when the game results in a draw where no one gets any points.
Play the same cards as Sebastian: 2-3-10-Q-J-9-4-A-K-8-7-5-6

Normal wins, losses, and draws occur when both of you have scored some points.

Once it's time to sleep and the fire is put out, you can choose to have Sebastian be a blanket to you by mentioning that the rocky ground is cold. How you end this scene is up to you.

In order to prevent Sebastian from being killed by Reza at the portal, you must have played his scene, as well as told him to watch the fireworks in Chapter 4. Instead of finding Sebastian dead, you'll find a suitcase with stolen eggs from the hatchery at the portal.

In your first play-through of the game however, you cannot save Sebastian.

Zhong - Chapter 2

After visiting Bryce at the bar in Chapter 1, meeting with Zhong at the grocery store during the second investigation, he will invite you to meet with him. You can learn something of his past, and even listen to some music records that he is trying to sell.

Emera - Chapter 2

During the second investigation, visit Tatsu Park and you'll run into her there.

In order to meet with her, you must have seen at least one of Remy's endings to the game. You also must tell her that you also think Remy's malformed ears are amusing. She'll invite you to meet with her later.

When you do go to meet with her, she will talk about various things of politics, how she came to hire Remy, etc, and then she'll ask you for your help to apply red coloring to her horns, as well as ask you to give her a back massage with those human hands of yours. You can choose not to do so and end the scene, if you really want to.

Katsuharu - Chapter 3

During the third investigation, if you head off to the police station, you'll come across Katsuharu with his ice cream cart, which is stuck in some mud. Stop to help him, and he'll invite you to meet him with later on. Do note that this does take up one of the two locations you can visit during the investigation.

When you meet with him, he'll tell you about his business and why it isn't doing so good these days. You will suggest Tatsu Park as a new place to sell ice cream and help move the cart there, and save his business. This meet-up is pretty much all story-telling and has no choices for you to make.

Kevin - Chapter 4

In order to meet with him, you have to prevent Bryce from entering the farmhouse. This allows the recovery of the stolen eggs.

When you choose to deliver the eggs to Adine at the orphanage, you will run into Kevin on the way there. You can choose to invite him over later on.

When you meet with Kevin in your apartment, he'll talk about college life, and you'll even take him to go see the actual portal device you came through to this world. After he tells you about things, you also share some information about uncertain things going on, and you can opt to get a fuzzy hug from him.

When it gets late, you can also opt to allow him to crash on the couch for the night instead of having to make him search for a place to sleep outside.

It's all good, I did well enough to impress Niomi (just getting through that underwater area intact impressed her anyways). The trick is to be a gentleman on the first date (don't order anything alcoholic) don't be too forward, and then she's the one who drops the hints later on. Just go with them if you want her... ;)

Is there going to be a 100% guide for Niomi eventually? Though it was kind of intuitive with her (just don''t get too frisky with her on the first date and ease into things after that, and then she'll get more interested in you later on). I got blindsided by the puzzle in ch 3--I wasn't ready for that-- and didn't really know what to do, so only explored a small area and it went from impressed to good.. I still got a nice "steamy" (pun intended) ending in Ch 4, but things still ended tragically. (Probably needed something in that underwater facility). Also, what I had to do in the Ch 5 epilogue literally left me in real tears!. I didn't have any guide to which other character (s) I had to meet with in her modline either, so I saved Sebastian and got a few other misc. achievements I wouldn't have gone for if I was "playing-to-win" I just can't get enough of this game!:steamhappy:

Indeed. It's not only that you can only visit two characters (you don't really date anyone, except maybe Remy and Anna one time...) per chapter, but if you visited two characters 3 times each, you can only visit one of them for Chapter 4. The other becomes Abandoned.

Dang some of these characters can really pluck at the heartstrings! It took me a few playthroughs to find out you only get to date twice per chapter and you basically nave to decide whom you're going to be with all-the-way through from the start (depending on which ending or mod you want to explore). I'm glad you get to play this game multiple times because they're all awesome!
