you can find them outside whitrun across from the stable in the padok behind the kajit tent they give plenty of banter
and have a patrol route in that feild, so they walk around but stay in that feild


if you ride Muktor all the outher's will follow you like a herd or mob ??.
but all the rest are normal so if you ride the outher's they go alone
but if you take loretta or midnight the foal for each will follow you
