"Dreadking Rathalos are known to have darker-colored scales, giving them their additional name, Dreadking. Like the normal individuals, Dreadking Rathalos have high-flying capabilities, though these capabilities are taken to new heights. From the larger golden wings of Dreadking Rathalos, he is able to support himself better in the air than usual. These special Rathalos have even been found to be very resistant against Flash Bombs in the air, making them harder to hunt down. Dreadking Rathalos utilizes the Fire element, and is weak to Dragon and Thunder."
