Alduin's Infinite Health Fix (Alduin's Bane)

Fix for Alduin's infinite health.

Disclaimer

This solution requires entering commands in the console.

I also recommend backing up a save that takes place before you encounter Alduin because doing this wrong can cause you to ruin your game.

The Steps

Make sure Alduin is on your screen and then press the ~ key located to the left of 1 and above TAB. Click on Alduin and type Disable

unpause the game with ~ and Alduin should disappear. After that press ~ and type Enable

Do NOT click anywhere in the game or else you will deselect Alduin and you will never be able to get him back unless you have a backup save.

Alduin's health should go down now but if you still can't beat him then enter tgm in the console so you have God Mode enabled.

I never had this bug when playing through previous runs, but I'll keep this in mind for my current one, especially considering I have mods installed.

a way better way is to just fast travel to high hrothgar and then back to the throat of the world. less operator error as well.
