Tactics
So first and foremost we need to get though playstyles.

Take It Slow
_____________

This is the way I play it most of the time if i cant get my combos up.
Take your time and land on as many platforms as you can and let the enemies spawn and take them out with ease, As there is no combos happening you wont be getting as many gems in so try and limit yourself to 1 item every shop preferbly charges and not health.

Mini Combos
_____________

Pretty much the same as the first one so you can tie it in with that.
As multiple enemies spawn try and get them lined up for a swift and easy small combo, Might not be worth much but practice is practice.

Panic!
_____________

Probably the worst "tactic" there is.
Sometimes theres a slip up and you panic and begin to rush and may take unnecessary damage, If this happens collect yourself and try and find a Safe Zone (those holes in the walls that stop time) to assess what state your in.
Upgrades
Lets take a look at the upgrades you will need to look out for.
The upgrades listed should be gotten first if its possible, after that the other upgrades are fine.

Apple
_____________

The apple is a pretty good grab if you are already at
full health as it gives you an extra HP

Candle
_____________

This one is a good choice because if you are dameged
it gives you time to get out of the way and get rid of any
enemies that are an immediate danger to you.

Balloon
_____________

The balloon is a must, it gives you a reduced fall rate as
well as some protection as it explodes if an enemy collides with it.

Knife and Fork
_____________

This is an absolute must get, for every 10 enemies eaten
you gain 1 HP and if your HP bar is full you gain one of four
parts to the bar under your HP bar which if filled you gain an extra HP.

Timeout
_____________

Timeout is an extreamly useful upgrade to have, when damaged
it creates a field around you which is the same as the safe zones,
Also when the field spawns any enemies that are in contact with it die instantly.

Youth
_____________

Youth is a nice one to have as it heals 1 HP (or adds one to your under bar)
and adds an extra upgrade to choose from after every level giving you more
of a chance to get the other upgrades.

Reverse Engineering
_____________

Reverse Engineering gives you a chance at getting a diffrent gun as well
as a diffrent extra.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Upgrades not to get

Blast Module
_____________

Getting this upgrade enables you to cause an explosion when an enemy is
stomped on, on top of this it causes the stomped on enemy to disappear
making Knife and Fork useless.

Rest in Pieces
_____________

Same as the Blast Module.
Weapons
Now we look at what type of weapons are best in what situation.

Machine Gun
_____________

The Machine Gun is the default weapon, Works as a 1/1 shot.
Hold down fire key for continuous fire.
Best all rounder.

Burst
_____________

This is the one i use the most, Works as a 3/1 shot.
Press fire key for one burst, multi click for continuous fire.
Fires 3 rounds per fire, Useful for quick dispatch of enemies
while still giving good levetation.

Laser
_____________

Works as a 4/1 shot.
Press fire key for one shot, Multi click for continuous fire.
Extreamly powerful and penetrative shot, Useful for dispatch
of multiple strong enemies but since it is a 4/1 shot does not
give good long term levitation.

Noppy
_____________

Very much the same as the Machine Gun, works as a 1/1 shot.
Hold down fire key for continuous fire.
Allows the ability to angle your shots.

Puncher
_____________

Works as a 2/1 shot.
Press fire key for one shot, Multi click for continuous fire.
fires three prjectiles parallel to each other, Powerful shot
and allows for good levitation.

Shotgun
_____________

Works as a 5/1 shot.
Press fire key for one shot, Multi click for continuous fire.
has a wide spread and a random ammount of bullets, Good for dispatching multiple enemies in one area, Like the Laser it does not give good long term levitation.

Triple
_____________

similar to the puncher, Works as a 2/1 shot.
Press fire key for one shot, Multi click for continuous fire.
Like the puncher it has three projectiles but each bullet is spread appart.
Worlds
Lastly to talk about each world and how to deal with them.

World 1
_____________

The first world is pretty easy to get by without comboing.
Prices are at the cheapest here so take advantage of it.
Just look out for Snails, Crawlers and Eyes as you cant stomp
them (Eyes are the strongest and my take a lot more shots)
You will want to get Knife and Fork as soon as you can in
this world as most of the enemies can be eaten.

World 2
_____________

Like the first one its fairly easy to get by without any combos.
Look out for the red floors as they activate spikes after being stepped on.
Again, Knife and Fork is great here as many of the enemies can be eaten

World 3
_____________

This world is a bit tricky to find a safe floor to land on as most of the floor has coral on it which will damage you, On top of this you are timed and have to find more air and keep moving which can cause players to panic.
Like the last two, Many enemies can be eaten.

World 4
_____________

This is by far the hardest for people who cannot combo as you are constantly on the move and can easly get damaged by the enviroment if you are not concentrating.
Go into every safe zone you come across so you can collect yourself before continuing

(Forgot to add, the floaty body helps for worlds 1-3, you'll either be good enough, or have enough charge+hp by the time you're in world 4)

I don't agree with the eating bodies upgrade.

If you're comboing, you won't really be able to grab the bodies on the floor, and if you do, you'll lose the combo.

You can heal easily via modules, getting combos above 25, or through the shop (which you'll likely always have enough money to buy stuff there if you get good combos.

If you don't get hit much, it's also good to just end the combo after 15(i think that's when you get the increased charge) to collect the rewards.

it should be noted that you do not need to bounce on enemies' heads to gain combo.
killing enemies regardless adds to total combo making World 4 one of the easiest in my opinion.

Not sure if I agree with the burst module choice. It does not give much vertical height when used, making it hard to stop your downward momentum to stomp on enemies. Also, stomping on enemies(and torches) recharges gunboots completely! This makes the Shotgun and Laser much more viable if you are constantly aiming for the tops of enemies instead of platforms.

If this is your strategy, getting blast module is actually high up on your list of items to get. This is because it clears red enemies below you, and also adds to your combo counter!

A good combo of items (in order of usefulness) would be:
- Safety Jetpack
- Gem Powered
- Gem Attractor - good if you already have Gem Powered
- Blast module
- Gunpowder Blocks - shooting one breakable block will break others nearby, often letting you keep your combo going

I'm not sure if this was because the game was updated but the blast module actually does not destroy the bodies of enemies you stop on, if they are supposed to drop bodies. Enemies like those blob things in the first world do not drop bodies

Thanks for the tips! I would also recommend the rocket boots (i think thats what they are called) as they make it easier to manuever around.
