M26 Pershing (American Medium/Heavy Tank) Variants

A collection of the M26 Pershing and numerous variants.
The M26 Pershing was designed as a replacement for the M4 Sherman. When it was accepted into service at the end of WWII, it was designated a heavy tank, as the armor was quite thick for an American tank. After the war, it was redesignated as a medium tank. It carried the 90mm M3 cannon, had a top speed 40 kmh, and had 102mm thick armor at the front.

The numerous variants contained in this collection are as follows:

-T25, one of many prototype designs for the M26 Pershing.
-M26 Pershing, the standardized tank put into production in 1944.
-M26E1, a Pershing with the longer barrelled T54 cannon.
-M26 T99, an M26 with rocket launchers strapped to the sides of the turret.
-T26E4 Super Pershing, a Pershing with additional bolted-on turret armor and hull armor plates, with the longer barrelled T15E1 cannon.
-T26E5, a heavily up-armored M26, fitted with the T15E1 cannon. Note: This is the World of Tanks version, and is therefore as patriotic as can be.
