Xinput configuration

This method can be used with Urban Chaos or with any other old game, that supports only DirectInput.

XInput Plus

1. Download XInput Plus here https://sites.google.com/site/0dd14lab/xinput-plus (click little black dot near "XInput Plus Ver4.14.3")
2. Open program, click "Select" to pick game executable "fallen.exe".
3. Configure the profile like on screenshots. I uploaded screenshots only for tabs that need changes.

7. DirectInput emulation - Adding a pad.


8. Click "Apply", it will create all necessary files in game directory.
9. If you have wireless pad, it will change its ID (mine does) on disconnect and you will need will to delete it from "DirectInput->Advance" tab with "X" button and "Detect" it again.
10. When you launch a game you should now hear beep sound, to make sure XInput Plus works.

Xpadder

1. Download Xpadder here http://www.xpadder.com/
2. Create a pad (will not describe here, as Xpadder is popular and guides can be found on the internet).
3. Create a profile, where left stick and POV has keyboard arrows. And Back is Esc, and Starts is Enter.

Game controls config

1. Keyboard - set arrows to movement.


2. Gamepad - configure as you like, but i put my config here as a reference. I found it quite good.

Doesn't QUITE work for me. I can't sprint (which is action+ direction) or change camera angle while going somewhere. As in simultaneous button presses just don't work.

Hi, I think I did everything same but I didn't managed how to get it working. Xpadder works in other programs but not in the game don't know why. Tryied to get it work for 2 hours

I've spent the whole day trying to work this out, but I couldn't ;( none of the above ways.... I've tried pushing steam's settings about the controller, couldn't get anything . arghh
