Allosaurus Information
Allosaurus is a genus of large theropod dinosaur that lived 155 to 150 million years ago during the late Jurassic period. The name "Allosaurus" means "different lizard" where the average Allosaurus is 28 feet long and about 2.8 meters tall it was both part of the "Bleeder" family along with it's cousins Acrocanthosaurus[isle.wikia.com],Gigantosaurus[isle.wikia.com], and Carcharodontosaurus[isle.wikia.com] it was a pack hunter and a scavenger.
Hunting Style
By now you know Allosaurus was infact a Pack hunter with a pack of about 5 others to take down big prey but since this is the isle and the allosaurus is sadly not the "True" apex like it use to be but is now known to be on a Weight Classes[isle.wikia.com] as well is now a Mesopredator[isle.wikia.com] on the food chain.

The most known abundant large predator of the Morrison Formation, Allosaurus was the "Apex" predator of it's time which it was formerly on top of the food chain, and where no other dinosaur preyed on it until the isle was introduced and which it had probably hunted down the contemporaneous large herbivorous dinosaurs in it's native habitat and perhaps even other predators at it's time such as Marshosaurus or Ceratosaurus. But the Allosaurus had the most potential prey which had included the known ornithopods, stegosaurids, and sauropods which It may have attacked the larger prey like the in-game shantungosaurus by only ambushing, and using its powerful upper jaw like a hatchet into the skin a unknown fact about Allosaurus was that they were "flesh grazers" which means they could take bites of flesh out of the large living prey like Puertasaurus.

Unlike Tyrannosaurus rex and it's cousin Gigantosaurus and Carchadontosaurus it did have the true bleeding or bone breaking affect it relied on it's speed and swiftness meaning if there is a SINGLE allosaurus you will not have the true potential to take down a big herbivore so hunting in a pack will leave individual prey confused and scared so the BEST tactic for a allosaurus is.....
1. Ambushing: Make sure you and your pack are in a good place where other players CAN'T see you.

2. Planning: Alway's cooperate and plan with your pack because communication is key to trapping and or luring your prey into a certain spot.

3. Attacking: ALWAYS Bite and run but also watch your stamina because your stamina is your main survival tool.
Combat Situations
Firstly NEVER fight a APEX predator doesn't matter HOW experience you are they will UTTERLY destroy a allosaurus in direct comback BUT in a pack you MIGHT have a chance if you all ambush and plan what to do other then just trying to run in and bite.

Allosaurus getting HIT by a Tyrannosaurus/Gigantosaurus is a death wish because Giga bleed and base damage will easily cause a slow death but taking a bite from a tyrannosaurus will 100% cripple and kill you with base damage alone.

Allosaurus straight biting and running a spinosaurus will be a less likely death because it does NO bone break and or bleed making your chances of killing a spinosaurus more possible.

Facing a Pue or a Shant will be more tricky and more deadly then facing a "Predator" because these Herbivores will surely kill and utterly massacre a inexperience pack but Speed is again the major factor for such a hunter.

Stegosaurus Vs Allosaurus is a classic clash it's a natural based prey for allo and a pack will surely destroy a single stegosaurus.

We already know NOT to mess with a "Hypo" strain or any strains to begin with as such a medium hunter like allosaurus.
Stamina Survival
It's the fight of keeping your stamina high and your prey weakened and wasting your stamina and toying with your prey is not a good thing because it gives the prey a EASIER chance of surviving and fighting back so hunting down smaller prey like Herra's,austro's, and the soon Ceratosaurus will be your top property when having a experience hunt because herbs being slow will not give you the best experience! so remember

Giga's Acro's and Carch's are Carcharodontosaurids, but that is very closely relateed to Allosauridae.
