How to find the secret room in the Paris mission

This guide consists of two main parts: 1) a screenshots-and-text guide (maps included), and 2) a short video guide. Both show the player how to access the secret boardroom in the mansion in the Paris mission of Clandestine.

What's the deal?

The Paris mission in Clandestine holds a little secret. There is a hidden room inside the mansion where you will find several local asset dossiers.

The player first has to find and interact with two pairs of wall lamps that are located on different levels of the mansion, otherwise the secret will not be accessible.

Both versions of the guide show the quickest and shortest route to accomplish your goal.

Finding the first pair of lamps

The first pair of lamps is located in the north wing on the upper floor of the mansion.

Enter the mansion on the ground floor (north-west part of the map). As you enter (watch out for the camera in the corner to your right), turn right, go up the few steps and proceed on to the stairwell that will take you to the upper floor.











Enter the hallway at the top of the stairs (beware of the camera at the end of that hallway). Open the double doors immediately to your right. This is where the first pair of wall lamps are. Locate it on the far wall as you enter this room. Go up to it to get the "interact" prompt and activate. The lamps will rotate 90 degrees to the left.

Go back down to the double doors where you entered the mansion on the ground floor.

Finding the second pair of lamps

The second pair of lamps is located on the ground floor in the centre of the mansion.

From the double doors where you entered, turn left and exit the room through a short hallway leading to another larger room. Enemies patrol here and there is a camera on the upper floor to your left, overlooking them, as you enter this second large room. There is a third guard on the upper floor gallery. Take care of the guards and make your way eastwards towards the camera (to the left as you entered this room).











You enter a new room underneath the camera (you are still on the ground floor). Follow the hallway leading from the left far corner of this room. Continuing straight on will take you to the room with the second pair of wall lamps, but look out for the guard patrolling there. The hallway splits off to the right where (far down) another guard patrols.



For now, ignore the guard in the hallway splitting off to the right. Take care of the guard in the room in front of you. Then go to the far right part of that room and locate the pair of wall lamps in the dark. Interact with the lamps to make the secret room (which is lower down in the mansion) accessible.

Locating the secret room

It is now time to go and find the secret room.

From the location of the second pair of wall lamps, go back to the hallway and now follow the part that goes to the other patrolling guard (to your left as you come from the lamps).



Take care of the guard at the end of the hallway, but beware of the camera there. Now go through the door on the left, taking the stairs down to the sewer level of the mansion.



When you reach the bottom of the stairs, you will see two pairs of double doors. Go to the one on the left and continue into that room (wine cellar). It has arches and wine vats along the walls on the left and right sides. Go towards the crate at the far side of the room.











Turn left at the crate to pass underneath the arches and enter an area containing a large dark brown cupboard against the back wall. Go to the cupboard.



When the "interact" prompt appears, activate it to make the cupboard slide aside and reveal a hidden door.
NOTE: The "interact" prompt will only appear if you have activated both pairs of wall lamps as described above.



Go down the sloped hallway and enter the secret boardroom where there are six items on the table: 5 dossiers and 1 readable item.
