A simple achievement guide so you don't miss any achievements in Once on a Windswept Night!

Intro: Tips and Tricks

Once on a Windswept Night is a Visual Novel that features RNG elements, sometimes you won't get the same outcome but you'll get them eventually after retrying a few times. However there are certain routes which will have a random chance of triggering a question or event with Lycoris, these will be listed accordingly. The time to 100% the game isn't certain because of these elements, however by looking at the code I decided to create a guide and try to help the achievement hunters

Also I've added the achievement code so you can look for yourself in the script in case you're having problems with something, this was mostly done while cross-referencing information with my astats timestamps, steamDB's API names, and the entire game script, so I'm assuming mistakes did happen! Also thank you to the pals for helping in bits of the game, especially Chris Fifty-Two!

Some acheivements in here aren't exclusive to Madeleine, but you can get them on your first Madeleine playthrough. There will be choices labeled with [RNG#] throughout this guide, this means there's a chance that Lycoris will ask you a question and there's an achievement tied to it, jump to the RNG section of the guide to answer these sections.

After inputting your name, this will pop, self-explanatory:

This is the trickiest achievement in the VN, you have to quit the game when the panel with the two characters next to each other holding hands appear, just Alt-F4 and be cautious to not skip the entire thing, otherwise you'll miss it.

PS: Doing this achievement may break the game completely! You may have to reset it in order to play it again. Case this happens, wipe your saves from your AppData\Roaming\RenPy\Once on a Windswept Night folder and the saves from the game installation folder (Steam\steamapps\common\Once on a Windswept Night\game\saves) too! Just in time
Return to the library when Lycoris needs you the most.

Now reload your save (or re-do all the steps mentioned above in case you resetted your game) and proceed to unlock the remaining story related achievements!

Happily ever after
Reach your happy ending.

Start the game again, you'll be denied access to the game and it will shut down again, however you get an achievement for it:

Behind the scenes
Wait for a play that's already over.

In this section you may also get the question: "If you were with the person you loved, and there was an unpleasant truth you had to tell them... what would you do?" You can answer randmly since none of the answers to this matter for any achievements.

Clean-Up and Random Achivements

There is certain dialogue that will trigger when you tell Lycoris to "Take a break", just load a savegame close to an ending and choose Lycoris' "That’s enough for now." or "I don’t want to keep going." options (Thanks MetalSmark), there's two achievements related to this - 1/7 Chance:

Shrimp princess
Learn of the library's overseer.

Only you
Lycoris gets a little too possessive.

Upon starting the game a second time, you'll be rewarded this achievement:

Return to the library for a second time.

I think I figured it out.

I'm stuck. I just finished Just In Time achievement but I can't load my save/recording. I can't forget and start over. The only thing I can do is continue and hit break to exit the game. I'm not sure where the appdata is located. I found the game saves but that alone didn't reset it.
